Simon was my technician for both visits. I found him to be easy to talk to, informative and low key - which I appreciate. Not a hard up-sell. Best of all, he fixed my problems! I had a clogged sink for a very stupid reason. I found Cali Rooter on here and John responded very promptly. Simon the plumber arrIved iin less than 20 minutes. He worked on my sink very patiently, did the best that he could. Unfortunately, he had to replace the pippe which is very very old. He did a really good job making sure that everything is working properly. I highly recommend them and would totally call them again if I need help. They are seriously more reliable than my landlord. Thank you John and Simon. You guys are the best.

Our water heater went out, and Gary Sarkisyan from Cali Rooter & Plumbing, Inc. came out right away. We had never used them before and so we were quite nervous. My husband watched as Gary went to work. As he worked, he explained what he was doing the entire time. Well, it turned out to be something way more complicated than we had anticipated. If we had another less experienced plumber, my husband is sure that he would have quit or tried to sell us another water heater. Rather than having to replace the entire water heater, Gary worked for at least an hour, and came up with a creative way to get our older water heater working. He also gave my husband a great suggestion about how to make sure the leak, (from rain), doesn't occur again. I am so thrilled with the job he did that as soon as he left, I went straight to yelp to leave a review.

These guys were responsive and came when they said they would to snake a drain.

I initially wrote a review complaining about how they changed the price when they arrived at my property from their initial quote. The owner was on top of it and called me immediately and had the difference refunded. Seems like a good sign that the owner is invested in making sure the customer is happy!

Found them on Yelp because of course my toilets and showers started backing up while there were 25 people here, was impressed with all the good reviews so called them and spoke to John, he said Simon would arrive soon, it felt like he was in my driveway before I hung up with John, he cleared my clogged main drain (due to roots) in record time, then inspected my main drain line with a camera and patiently answered all my questions, price was reasonable- I highly recommend them!

Among the things a rental property fears the most is a call from a tenant on a rain soaked weekend that a pipe at his apartment has burst and water is pouring into the street. How are you going to find someone to take care of it immediately? Call Cali. John and Gary have saved my you know what twice now. They're not only responsive, they're fair and conscientious. What a great team to work with. They were really patient setting up a time to get a quote, we had to move several times and they hung in there with me :). The plumber who helped us out, Carlos, was amazing. He was so nice, professional and went above and beyond. When the work was done he did a few extra checks on our new home, the hot water wasn't working and they checked it for free, along with the pressure of our water.
