They deserve more than five stars! William and his crew are the only people that i ask to work on my 100 year old house anymore. Not only have fixed errors from other handyman, but have gone above and beyond any expectations i have had for my home. Caldwell construction installed all my ceiling fans, improved my Victorian style bathroom, installed my gas heater, installed my new roof, painted my house, and many more projects to come. Caldwell construction has always been respectful to my wishes for my home with giving me practical advice. Also, the ladies in the office are the best!

Caldwell construction does fantastic work. They built a beautiful ""catio"". They removed a rotten south facing deck cover & replaced it with a new redwood structure with a solid corrugated asphalt, enclosed the deck with vinyl coated galvanized wire & put in a light. My cats LOVE it as do we!!

I was looking for a company to paint my 1950's era home and asked Caldwell Construction to provide a bid based on the positive reviews I had seen in my NextDoor neighborhood website. Attention to detail was one of the comments that came up numerous times in the description of the work that they performed, which is very important to me. This was followed up by reviews on Yelp, which were equally as impressive. When William Caldwell came over to look at my home, I was very impressed with his knowledge, experience, and professionalism ~ plus he is just an overall pleasant person to do business with. We walked around the house and he was able to address each of my concerns with a viable solution. Having a licensed contractor was very important to me and I felt the price was reasonable, so I went ahead and accepted his bid.

William sent two of his painters over to my home ~ both named Tony B. :) They were very pleasant and extremely diligent workers. They did a walk around with me before they started the project to ensure that we were on the same page as to what needed to be done. They arrived on time, starting early in the day and put in a good day's work each day. They spent a lot of time on prep, which I was very happy about. They were excellent at asking questions before proceeding and didn't make any assumptions. At those times that I found it difficult to make a decision, they provided me with the related pros/cons that helped me feel confident that I was making an informed choice that worked best for me. They went above and beyond and really took care to do an OUTSTANDING job!

I highly recommend Caldwell Construction and I am happy to have found my ""forever"" paint contractor. :) Additionally, I should add, I have hired Caldwell Construction to come back and repair a dragging gate ~ it is nice to now have a trusted source to perform the various handyman repairs that are also a part of home maintenance.

I was looking for handyman services to get a small dry rot repair done on yelp and no one was able to give me a quote besides Caldwell Construction. They were very professional and got me scheduled before the rain season started. They did excellent work with the dry rot, everything looks new with no signs of dry rot.

Recently we chose Caldwell Construction to convert our existing family room addition into a bedroom by adding new french doors, a closet, and a custom barn door. Our decision to call them was based on online reviews, and the reviews turned out to be completely reliable. Every step of the way William and his crew proved to be reliable, honest, hard-working, great problem solvers, and true to what they promised. The crew was consistently professional and pleasant to be around. They were diligent about their schedule and true to their price quote. Working on an old house like ours naturally poses challenges, and the team was consistently positive and capable in dealing with the quirks involved in the project. We are very glad we called and would definitely do so for another project in the future.

Caldwell Construction installed some new French Doors and fixed my sagging fence. Both jobs exceeded my expectations. The jobs were reasonably priced and completed quickly. I want to give Caldwell Construction a big THANK YOU for helping us out so quickly after our home inspection revealed a leak and resultant water damage in the foyer ceiling. Selling and buying property simultaneously is stressful enough, but throw in items to repair, and the ticking clock of escrow begins to tatter your final nerve. Not only was William able to dispatch a qualified plumber to address our issue within the same week, but the drywall was hung and the molding replaced before we even received the request for repairs. And when I asked for an itemized invoice to submit to the buyers, the inundated manager who was playing catch-up after an absence from the office had it to me in an hour. I couldn't be happier with their professionalism, from communication to quality of work to turnaround time.

We had Caldwell Construction (found them on Yelp) build an arbor in our backyard in October of this year. I am pleased to report that the experience and the work product rates 5-Stars! William Caldwell, the owner, was attentive, and professional. He started and finished when promised, and at the quoted price (reasonable price, especially for the top quality of the product). During the project if we had a question he would come on site almost immediately, not just call. They took our rough diagram and added significant architectural detail as if they could read our probably not-so-well articulated expectations.

Will was the builder and he was/is a tremendous craftsman, not just a carpenter. He worked non-stop and at the highest quality of work and outcome. I was in awe of his quality of work and his efficiency. He consulted us with any questions and always implemented our response. His product is 5-Stars. Thaddeus who assisted, and was mentored by Will, kept the construction site cleaned up also did a great job. Both Will and Thaddeus were pleasant to have on-site.

In summary we will use Caldwell Construction again and highly recommend them. It is one of the very best experiences I have had with home improvement projects over 30 years.
