We called Caldwell for a quote to redo our shower which we had two issues with - one with the wall tile and another with the floor not draining properly. Steven came out to meet with us and discuss our options. He was very knowledgeable, professional and we immediately felt confident in him and Caldwell's ability to fix our shower at a reasonable price. Steven then brought in Jeff, their tile expert, to meet us and to look at the shower. He proved to be exceptionally knowledgeable and competent and we decided Caldwell was the right company to handle this project.

As the project got underway, Caldwell was on site every day - arriving on time and working steadily throughout the day. The crew members were polite and professional. They would explain what they were going to do each day; and before they left, they always cleaned everything up. Steven stayed in constant contact with the crew to ensure the project was moving along as expected and he stayed in contact with us to ensure we were happy with each phase of the project. The finished product was a beautiful, well designed and constructed shower.

In addition to the shower, Caldwell's crew also painted the bath, installed a new bath door and baseboard, installed a medicine cabinet and some shelves. Every crew member was proficient at their assigned job and by the end of the project, they felt like family due to their ease at doing their job and the friendliness they expressed toward us (and our pets).

I cannot say enough good things about Steven, his crew members and Caldwell in general. We are very happy with their work and their reasonable quotes for the same. I highly recommend Caldwell and will certainly call on them for our future projects.

It involved relocation and remodel of both bathrooms,Contruction of a new hallway, and Re-plumbing of the entire house. This was an ambitious project to say the least the project took about 3 months we had to move out to a rental for at least 2 months.

Miss communication between the contractor and client or the lil disputes and differences of opinion about what needed to be completed by what time. There never was a dispute that I felt warranted being mentioned in this review. William And all the workers were courteous and friendly and would ALWAYS correct any mistakes or miscommunication that arose. They aimed to please and they followed through. In the end we were happy and satisfied. I will recommend Caldwell Construction for your next project.

Caldwell Construction just finished a side yard project for us, installing a 4 foot horizontal fence with gate, a 6 foot fence with gate, and pavers. Steven was the project manager--very responsive and responsible; Ronald and Josh were the construction workers on site--they did a meticulous and professional job. We are very pleased, our side is transformed beautifully, and we will definitely use them for our future projects!

William (owner) came out to bid on repair to our front porch which had bad dry rot and roof. We wanted to slightly upgrade the look of our porch while repairing the damage, and William's team did a great job. I have a few finicky issues about finish-work and they were resolved to my satisfaction. The job was done by two carpenters in 3 days, including painting. I was also impressed by how clean they left the job site each day and how friendly and professional they were in their work style. No foul language, no loud rap music, no extended breaks and chatter - just there to do a quality job with dignity and skill. Pricing was right in the middle of two other estimates and fair for the quality of work delivered. I'd hire them again in a New York minute! In a day and age when it's hard to know if you can trust someone to stand behind their work, my first experience with Caldwell has been a great one, and I look forward to the next project, knowing I can trust the company and the craftsmen that work there.

I was skeptical going into a bathroom remodel after hearing stories from my friends about other contractor experiences. Starting with our first meeting, William was professional and had great suggestions. If you want your contractor to be direct and to the point, Caldwell is for you. The crew showed up DAILY at 8 a.m. The crew is personable and professional. I recomnend that you communicate through William or the office team because with all the moving parts, you want to keep the communication clear so theres no confusion. Have you heard of residential cobstruction projects going over budget and time? Not this company. I didnt pay a penny more than what I expected and the job finished on time. William has great attention to detail and makes sure everything is just right. As a small business owner, he is committed to great customer service. We are in the final week of a six month project with Caldwell Construction. It was refreshing to work with such solid professionals. We converted the flood basement in a 150 year old Victorian house into an apartment. Lots of contractors don't want to work on historic old homes because if how hard it is, but Caldwell and his crew not only took the job but they really nailed it. The quality of the work was very high, and we are very pleased with our new rental unit. I am a real estate investor and a Realtor with a background in construction and I will definitely be working with William, Will, Ray, Steve, Andy, Alberto and Sue again.
