My mom had a flood in her home and I didn't think we were ever going to find a reliable company to hire. My Mom is a senior and is very hard to please. But to our delight my mom LOVED Cal Star. She especially enjoyed the handsome young men that did her work. She had to have her laminate floor replaced and foundation work done under her home. The price was in her budget and you can't tell there was ever any damage. It looks beautiful. The staff at Cal Star were helpful and pleasant every time we called. I will definitely be using this company again. The whole process was easy. And Mom is happy.

Matt, you didnt send Peter out here to inspect a 2nd time, you or Justin sent him out here to try and get me to change or remove by review, even handed me a giftcard to try and accomplish that, so that would be CalStar bribing me, not me blackmailing you. But that's all okay, i wouldnt have changed it anyway, and all the info etc went to the CSLB and you'll be hearing from them in due time.

Wasn't impressed with the quote. Look around and get several inspections and quotes before you hire anyone. No clue as to the quality of their work but I can say they are definitely in the business of making money.

Although I will not change the stars and original review of this company, I will say at least someone reached out to get my reason for the low rating. At least they care enough to make an attempt. Unfortunately, the lousy feeling of a salesman attempting to take advantage will long outlast whatever good intentions the company had while trying to smooth things over. Spoke to a very nice guy who listened and was empathetic with my feelings and I appreciated that. However sincere, I'd not recommend this company without adding the caveat, ""shop around before signing"" and get multiple quotes and opinions.

I called cal star mobile home inc to look at my great aunt's double wide after using them a few years ago for my home. they got someone out the next day to look at her plumbing, roof and her foundation. I got a reasonable price compared to the other companies that I got Quotes from. And I was very satisfied with the work. Thank you cal star!

Called for a quote for flooring and received an appointment for the inspector to come out the next day. Peter took his time explaining everything to me and showed me all the samples. We went back and forth with my final decision on flooring, and he was so patient with my pickiness in picking the right one.

I had a few quotes done prior and they were way out of my budget. I was pleasantly surprised by the price and the quality of work done. I'm so happy with my new floors and how fast it was installed.

We had some misteps and lack of communication that led to several issues, but they owned the issues, took responsibility and made things right. The process was not ideal, but ultimately they completed the jobs and did good work, and they were polite and easy to work with during the jobs.

I am so pleased with the work that was done on my California patio. Cal Star came and gave me a quote that was extremely reasonable, and were able to get the job done in a timely manner.
