I had three companies come out and evaluate our plumbing situation. Jonathan came out to evaluate and gave us what ended up being the highest quote for a re plumbing. The reason why I am giving a one star review is because of two things. First of all Jonathan called me about three times within a couple of days to put pressure on me so that I would accept their bid. So basically, 5 days after the quote, they would be ready to do the work and he wanted to schedule me. Later on I found out from another company that to do a re-plumbing you need permits from the city. There is no way you get these permits done in the amount of time that they were giving me. So either they wanted to do the re-plumbing without permits which would be illegal Or they were just trying to take advantage of me and my mom. I did not appreciate all the constant calling and pressure that was put on me to go with them. Stay away from the company.

David Harris arrived on time for our appointment today. He was very professional and helpful. I had used Calstar for new water pipes throughout my mobile home last year.. Good price and great work. I will continue to call them for any problems I may have in the future

We hired Cal Star to level or mobile home and redo the plumbing. Initially Matt come and was knowledgeable and helpful! Spent time answering all of our questions without rushing us at all to make sure we were comfortable. The crew came and it was well worth the money. After a few weeks Wil came out to ensure us that we were under warranty and would be checked on annually. He went out of his way to make sure we were satisfied and the job was completed properly. Would highly recommend.

We have been very happy with Cal Star's work and responsiveness. They are the most attentive contractor we've encountered. They show up on time, are professional, get the job done on time and promise to return if anything doesn't meet our expectations. They are mobile/manufactured home specialists which isn't easy to find. Will continue to use them in the future.

I have my mobile home listed for sale. David Harris came today and checked my whole-home water filtration system and said everything is fine. He came inside and checked how all of my doors open and close, an indicator of whether or not the house is level. Then he looked under the house with a flashlight and everything looked good. Since it was maintenance, there was no charge. Oh, by the way, any work Cal Star does is guaranteed for the life of the house. If you move, just leave your paperwork for the new owner. They did a lot of work under the house, related to stability and earthquake preparedness and they come around every year or so, at no charge, to make sure everything is fine.

I called the company and asked for an estimate for maintenance of a swamp cooler. The technician they sent out was Matt, and I wish every woman who lives alone and doesn't have a man to take care of these things should have such a great guy to deal with. Besides being a credit to his company, he was honest, explained as he went, glad to go into detail when I didn't fully comprehend what was needed. He was clean, neat; where he took my SC apart it was wet and muddy, and without being asked, took off his shoes when he walked into the house. What a pleasure. And I will certainly call his company for anything else I need fixed in my ""manufactured home.""

I recently had Cal Star come in and repair the floors in my mobile home. The process was seamless and we couldn't be happier with the end result. When Matt came to give us a quote he was thorough, informative and more than fair with his pricing. We ended up contracting them to do a few more things and were pleased with those results. The workman that came were articulate, courteous, hard working and kept us informed as to what they were doing throughout the process. They completed the work in the timeframe agreed upon and I would highly recommend them for any repair work you might need to have done. They were conscious of COVID protocols and we felt very safe with them in our home.

Justin replied here as well as called multiple times to contact me. When I returned his call he discussed my concerns and, within literally two minutes after we hung up his office called a and set up an appointment for someone to come out and handle my concerns and create a future plan of exactly what does need to be done.

While I still disagree with some of our conversation the resolution on Cal Star's behalf is more than equitable and fair.

I will say I have no issue with the work Cal Star performed, if you are looking for someone to handle the piers, jacks, pads and such I would have no problem recommending them. I think the expectations laid out and the idea that this was all I needed to do to solve the problems was off.
