Ben rocks! I tried a repair myself and managed to make things much worse, so called Ben to fix my nonsense and get my bathroom back in working order.

He arrived on time, was here for maybe 15-20 minutes at the most, and had everything totally functional and working better than ever before. A total pro! Quick and solid repairs.

On top of that, he's a friendly guy who communicates clearly and explains exactly what his concerns and process are. He's super transparent and helpful.

Ben's prices were the most reasonable of all 5 local places I called. I asked my retired plumber stepfather what would be reasonable to pay for my task, and he was immediately impressed with Ben's rates and told me to hire him on the spot.

I would definitely call Cal Rooter again.

My husband and I bought our house a year ago. I needed to find someone who could install a dryer vent and fix our guest bathroom shower drain.

Ben was amazing. He was very quick to respond and asked any clarifying questions to provide me the most accurate and reasonable quote.

I had a clogged kitchen sink and ""attempted"" to fix it it on my own. When the snake and plunger didn't work I went to yelp for help. I got 3 replies within 20 minutes. Although each provided a competitive and similar quote, I chose Cal Rooter since Ben's call was first. Although I was not available for his 1st initial time slot, he was able to accommodate a time for me that worked with my work schedule. He arrived on time and was well prepared with all his tools. He was quick and very friendly. I couldn't be happier to have my sink working in under 30 minutes.

Ben Gaetos was amazing! He was able to come on Sunday morning in time when we are in desperate need of help with our water heater tank. His price was reasonable, and he did a superb job! We highly recommend him!!!

Our water heater went out on a Friday. We tried figuring out what the problems might be and waited until Saturday. Out of quite a few plumbers on the peninsula, Ben was the only one who answered and came to our rescue on Sunday.

He quickly diagnosed the leak and made an appointment to come back to get it replaced the next day. He was efficient and friendly. We hope we don't have to call him anytime soon, but will if we need a reliable plumber.

Ben is great!! Needed some work done in my kitchen. Ben got back to me right away and quickly to gave me the estimate. Estimate was very fair. He really took his time to explain what needed to be done and possible ways to approach the repair. We set up a time to get the work done and Ben showed up on time. He worked in my schedule. Had a clogged main sewer line rendering all toilets, drains inoperable in my home. Got a very reasonable estimate from Ben as well as a quick reply. Was told a plumber would be at my house between 6:30-7:00 so made arrangements to have an adult home because I get home late. Despite having my phone number Ben sends me a message on yelp saying his guy is running behind. Never mentioned he wasn't showing at all or no mention of taking care of me in the morning. I called and left a message to find out if I needed to find someone else. No return call or no return reply from my yelp message. Totally unprofessional and irresponsible. If you're expecting good customer service you won't find it here. Have yet to determine their plumbing skills, hopefully they are at least good at that. Do yourself a favor and go to Santa Cruz Plumbing instead.

After getting quotes from several of the larger plumbing companies in Monterey, we chose Ben and his family-owned company to replace our water heater. He gave us a quote that saved us hundreds of dollars over the other guys who were more interested in talking us out of our purchase from Home Depot and buying theirs, which had half the warranty and was several hundred dollars more. Ben showed up on time, performed the installation quickly and professionally and was helpful and courteous. I will gladly use CRP Plumbing in the future.
