I requested service for clogged sink in my kitchen. Unfortunately, I went through my home insurance and i place the ticket Saturday morning. They are closed on weekends so I received a response Monday that they would come out Tuesday. they were able to come out and fix my problem. I thought the plumber was very professional and friendly. They were protective slip on their shoes to not dirty my floors. They had the proper equipment available and ready. Great service and a job well done.

I used this company to install a gas water heater through my American Home Shield Home Warranty. I was weary because of the poor reviews. I gave three stars only because Roman did a great job and explained everything to me, and the service was provided in an expedient manner. I deducted 2 stars because the company upcharged all the extra parts needed based on code changes. So if you're going to use this company, just know that the Home Warranty will end of covering about half the total cost. I paid out of pocket $845.00 for the miscellaneous items needed. Although I acknowledge those parts as necessary, I clearly overpaid for each item needed. So just be aware of this.

I requested service on a jacuzzi bath tub 5 weeks ago. CAL HOME Construction was sent out by AHS. It took them 2 weeks to setup an appointment. Upon arrival, a person arrived who knew nothing about plumbing or bathtub repair showed up. I explained to him acess to the motor was outside of the building. The contractor took the notes and said they would come back. About 3 weeks later, no service occurered, as they never showed up. I called AHS and they stated the motor couldn't be accessed, however the company lied. I would not use their services, ever. Cal Home Construction is the worst contractor you could be assigned to from AHS. Don't use them!!! You have been warned. If I could give negative stars I would.

Our home warranty company contracted with CAL-HOME. CAL-HOME contacted us quickly and sent out Tony to repair our home water heater. It was not providing hot wate. Tony arrived on time, was extremely polite and friendly. He quickly and cleanly repaired the water heater.
We highly recommend this very professional company.

Possibly the worst plumbers. Were sent by our insurance. They left a quote for replacing faucets and they said valves needed to be replaced. After many many many many calls they finally made an appointment to come on a Friday and called that morning and asked for the water for the block of units to be shut off. We did.
They not only never showed up, they never called to reschedule or apologize for not showing up. Did not answer the phone all day. Needless to say their quote was phoney. Valves did not need to be exchanged. Please avoid at all costs.

worst customer service ever! we had no hot water a person I spoke to a man don't seem to care!
Installed a new AOsmith in my property a month later no hot water , came to fix it 3 days later, and then a week later hot water was off again, Tony the plumer ordered parts installed it and the whole unit was vibrating, something was installed incorrectly according to the other plumer from the manufacturer, the new plumer fixed it..
this company is not good .

Our hot water heater cracked and leaked which flooded our garage. Our home warranty company dispatched Cal Home. The office set up a next day appointment quickly. Once the work order was approved they got a tech out right away. Tony was a hard worker and did an amazing job at replacing and upgrading our system to new codes.

I had a couple of small issues in my hall bathroom. I contacted my home warranty folk (AHS) who were very responsive and sent someone out the next day. Slava showed up right on time and went to work to install a new tub spout/diverter so that water would actually come out of the shower head when u pull the diverter knob. He went the extra mile, was careful about the caulking around the spout and even cleaned out the drain cap when I mentioned the drain was slow. Then he fixed my 'rocking' toilet with a shim and tightening the bolts. He was totally professional and I was happy to engage him in a brief conversation. Yes, he has an accent. He's from Ukraine and is learning English very well for someone who has only been here a year. He's an asset to the company! Five stars all the way for Slava!

I had two problems with two different showers. My home warranty company forwarded my warranty request to this company. I was skeptical about this company based on the reviews here. The technician Slava was professional and diagnosed both the plumbing problems correctly. He was able to repair and replace one of the shower with an identical part even though it required a lot of hard work and skill to get it out. The 2nd shower was an imported faucet for which he needed authorization from warranty company and parts that he needed to order. Overall, I would give a 5 star in the way the work was performed to my satisfaction

Update: My home warranty company approved the job estimate. They are saying parts are coming next Tuesday. I have already passed two Tuesdays. communication has gone dead. So reducing 5 stars to 3.
