They don't answer the phone. They don't call you back. And they are in cahoots American Home Shield to cheat you and fraud you.

The work they do is crap, and so is their customer service.

Read their prior 1 star reviews...they all say the EXACT SAME THING.

Worse company and people ever.
They are no responsible, never answers the phone, no call back when you leave message, schedule a service and never show up.
They let waiting for them more then two months to conclude a service.
Now my home insurance scheduled a service with them again they called scheduled a service and never showed up.

The worst plumbing contractors that I ever had to deal with. I waited several day to find out from another source that my home warranty did not cover my toilet install, it would be an out of pocket expense, which I would be willing to pay. The plumber Tony arrived at my home and said that he did not have a part to install a new toilet in the main bathroom. The floor installers could not put the original toilet back on. I bought a new toilet because I was going to replace it anyway. Tony told me when he get the part he would call me to reschedule the install. A waste of my time waiting between the hours of 11 - 3 p.m. and $75 service fee. I thought that was shady anyway because I never met a plumber that does not have a part on hand or can get one quick, six days later and still no toilet installed, calling their office twice to find out a status and receiving nothing but a voicemail and no return phone call, I called my home warranty company to report Tony and Cal-Home Construction.

I had a leaking shower in my home, called First American Home Warranty and they sent Cal-Home Construction. The plumber came to my home and attempted to fix the valve. He broke off the valve and said he went to his office to get a replacement and NEVER RETURNED! When I called the office I was greeted by the rudest nastiest receptionist I have ever spoken to in my life. She said that I broke the shower and they were not responsible to fix it. That's not the worst part, she cursed mat me through the entire call!!! I had to call another plumber that night to come fix the shower so we could turn the water back on to the house, which the plumber shut off before he broke the shower valve. They are the worst, do not let them touch your shower, they probably do better with toilets, where all shit like them are supposed to go!!!

AHS (ASS HAT STUPID) calls in the clowns from Cal-Home Construction in Martinez to repair a water leak at the main line on the homeowner's side of the water meter. Plumber? drops by, snaps a photo of the leak, says he has to report to AHS. One week later and no follow-up phone call from anyone. Called the ASS-HATS and they said they tried to call their plumbers? but got their voicemail. Told them I been calling too. Need real plumbers.

Referred by American Home Shield for a ""no hot water in shower"" problem. Were supposed to do a simple shower cartridge replacement. The guy came buy... first they didn't have a cartridge in stock, so had to come back again in 3 days. Then there was a leak inside the housing of the cartridge, so had to order another part. For that, and to replace a cracked shower head, I was told they would reschedule one more time in 10 days. They did not. I tried to call them 10 times, left two messages. They never once picked up the phone, never called back. The technician was good, friendly and capable. The scheduling person, awful. Do you want to deal with the company that you can't get to answer your phone call, ever? I don't think so. Never deal with them. Ask for someone else when your home warranty company refers to you to this disaster of an outfit.

My shower and toilet started to leak at the beginning of California's shelter in place due to Covid-19. Being the paranoid person that I am, I did not want anyone coming into our home. A month later they were still leaking and then a second toilet starting leaking. So I gave in and called my warranty AHS. CAL-HOME called me the same day to set up an appointment for the next day. Tony came and accessed the problems and let me know he would fix everything during this visit. He left to get parts which I appreciate because in the past where ever I deal with contractors from the warranty company they always say they need to order parts and then return a week or more later. I also appreciate that he wore shoe coverings, a mask, and gloves. Overall we had a great experience with Tony.
