Andrew came out today to fix a shower; he was very helpful and professional and got the job done today including finding the Needed parts

Kenny with Cady Plumbing is AWESOME! I had a sewer issue backup and called another company out to snake line. They claimed it couldn't be snaked and then told me they would send out a camera for another $150.00 to look at it. This made no sense as the drain was full of black water. Kenny called me, sent out Discount Sewer and Drain and cleared the line in 45 seconds. They then sent a camera through and found our issue! He has been responsive to all of my calls and would highly recommend!

We are so fortunate to have found Cady Plumbing -- a family-owned business for decades. Apparently they get all their business by way of referral -- no advertising -- just plain excellent and marvelous service which clearly goes NOTICED by many. They're utterly ethical and as kind as can be. I will even repeat this: they are utterly ethical -- and treat their customers like their family. We have been through the mill with plumb companies and .... well I'm sure it's not a secret that many focus on profit only. Cady does it right from first customer contact.

I think these guys have new management. I called for another sewer line at a new property, they wouldn't even scope the line. They pulled up, walked from the street to the property and emailed a blind bid. Not acceptable.
I called and asked for the invoice for my last work (my previous review) and gave the exact date and address, it took a week for them to find it. Not acceptable.
Family friends who have used Cady before recently had work done which wasn't done correctly, had them back 24 hours later for the same work and they charged them twice. Not acceptable.
It's not my job to work for their business.
Cady has lost our business.

Kenny, the Service Manager did a super job of fixing our plumbing problem, however, be aware that this company bills you later through the mail, and the estimate you received from the person doing the work may differ a great deal from the actual bill you receive in the mail. Get a firm estimate in writing before the technician leaves your house and hold them to that estimate. Also be aware that while they will tell you they charge $100/hour for their work, they actually will charge you $115 for the FIRST HALF HOUR and then $100 per hour after that. That first half hour is very costly.

Beware of an amazing quote they will give you during their free estimate to convince you to do their job. They will then charge you for two men when only one is actually needed for the job, plus additional labor charges that *magically* up their total invoice to nearly double the originally quote. Hundreds of dollars for labor for a less than $30 part that took less than an hour and 1/2 and an additional $600 for future work that I got done for $100 with someone else. Save your money and find someone more reputable.

Cady Plumbing was a referral from a very trusted friend. In researching Cady, we saw that they are a family-owned business in operation since 1955.
We realized that plumbing issues which crop up during times of colder weather may result in a bit of a wait due to high demand. While not everyone can, or will want to, delay depending upon their plumbing issue, we held out for about two weeks until things were less busy.
When Kenny, the Service Manager, and Danny both arrived, the first thing Kenny stated was that we should have definitely let them know it was worst than what we stated by phone, and that they would have made it out much more quickly. We replied we were okay in that the water from the cracked pipe was on a concrete basement floor with a drain, and that a bucket or two caught the excess water only when we needed to turn on the water. Again, this was based on our specific issue.
Kenny and Danny did their assessment, based on the info provided, and quickly and expediently installed a temporary shutoff valve on the affected pipe running down to the basement. They then recommended an excellent tile removal expert in order to determined where the pipe actually was cracked in the upper bath in order to replace it.
One tile was removed in the shower area upstairs to expose the piping. Kenny and Danny returned, found the actual cracked pipe really quickly, and were able to instead make the repairs through the opposite bath's drywall under the vanity, eliminating additional tile to be removed from the other bath, which would have been quite costly.
Each two visits, they arrived on time, were courteous, professional, honest, and efficient. On the second visit, they completed the major repairs within 1-1/2 hours. One could not tell work was performed, as everything was left neat and tidy.
As for billing, Kenny was very thorough in explaining the process upfront on the first visit, and no issues, whatsoever.
The tile expert also returned and re-installed the one tile, just as effortlessly and quickly as he had removed it.
For what it's worth, we had a large company provide an estimate prior to Cady Plumbing--part of our taking it slow, in spite of the leak. We were told all the tile in the shower would require removal, as well as the shower pan, with a quote that went through the stratosphere, and that was just for the plumbing--not the tile!
So very glad and so very pleased with the professional and accurate work did by Cady Plumbing.
We will be returning to Cady Plumbing in late spring/early summer for some plumbing work in our kitchen.

Found my new plumbers - I'll be calling them again if and when any needs arise. I had a hot water dispenser that developed a leak. They sent someone out quickly and he arrived when he said he would (*gasp*). He didn't charge for the initial visit and suggested I order a replacement unit myself since I could get it cheaper (wow). He called with the part information when he said he would (another gasp), and then when I called to let them know I had the unit in hand, they sent someone to install it at a very reasonable price. Overall friendly, reliable, competent, and seem to have the customer's best interest at heart. Highly recommend.

We had a very misfortunate handling with this company. We own rental property in the Denver area and Cady Plumbing was recommended to us by our friend, relator and family for fixing a problem we had. When we had some questions about a recent plumbing fix that they worked on, we were told one thing, then told something different and were treated as though we were worth nothing. They threatened to send us to collections if we didn't pay the bill one month after the project was complete when we were just trying to figure out answers for tax purposes.
Instead of having good customer service and solving the problem, they decided threats was a better way of hanlding the situation. Never have we ever been treated with such disregard from all parties in the company from the owners, to the workers, and even the secretary. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone after what we went through. Even if there is misunderstanding, that doesn't mean you treat your customers as though they are worthless.

I was really pleased with the work that Cady did...I called them to replace a kitchen sink with a new one that I had purchased. They were able to respond within a few days, and the plumber (Dave) was neat, knowledgeable, did a great job, and cleaned-up before he left the house. I would not hesitate to recommend Cady to anyone.
