Cady fixed a leaky pipe at my house. Cady charged $210 per hour as the service fee. The call was not an emergency call, as the pipe had been leaking for weeks. I was not at home, but the plumber did not give an estimate before he began the work, did not explain to my wife that he was going to charge $210 per hour, and neither did he claim that it was emergency work that justified such a high rate.
Paul came out and fixed everything we asked him to. Couldn't be happier. He was very polite and efficient, didn't make any messes. I highly recommend Cady plumbing.
Laura P.WARNING: They told me they are no longer in business due to an illness over a year ago. if true that's a very good thing. They almost blew up my house with a cracked elbow in place then they took my money never finished the job & walked off the job saying there was maybe a gas leak!!!! NOT SURE THEY ARE MASTER PLUMBERS. NEVER PULLED A PERMIT AS PROMISED.
THEY DO NOT HIRE GUYS WHO KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING. Be very careful
Letting them work on your plumbing.
They stole the pressure gage off our gas line. They didn't know how to plumb a sink (look at the pic) or put on a shower escutcheon!!
DO NOT CALL CADY PLUMBING IF THEY ARE STILL IN BUSINESS.
Natalie L.I contacted Cady plumbing on a Friday regarding a slow leak in my home. I I called first thing in the morning and asked for a callback, no one ever called back. I finally called late that afternoon and was able to make an appointment made for Tuesday morning at 8:30 AM. I stayed home from work waiting for the repair man and at close to
9 AM when nobody had arrived I contacted the office. The woman on the phone told me,""all I can tell you is he is on his way"".
The plumber showed up at just after 9 AM in jeans and a T-shirt with no identifier that he was with the company nor did he hand me a business card. I mention that I had called due to his tardiness and there was no reply. He did not take off his shoes when he entered the home nor did he cover them with anything so he brought dirt into the house.
He spent about 30 minutes trying to identify the problem, and was not able to. He wanted to start cutting holes into the wall to see if he could identify the problem, I declined. Since he could not identify the problem he told me he would leave the service ticket up for a while so that if I did want them to come back out again and try to fix the issue I would not need to pay for another service call. Within a few days I received a bill in the mail for $135 for 30 minutes of service and no resolution. I never heard from them again
Follow up on my review:
My father came over today to look at the leak, and he was able to diagnose the problem in less than five minutes. Needless to say he did not charge me anything...
I called Cady after they came highly recommended. I have a newly purchased Condo and the previous owners re-did the bathroom, but failed to put a wax ring under the toilet, so we had a small leak/smell. Cady got out to me the very next day. My issue is that the plumber put a very large chip in my bathtub. He apologized profusely and went to get some epoxy to fill it in.
While gone, he said he spoke to his Supervisor and there would be no charge. You can definitely still see the chip, but I figured I would use the savings from having no bill to get someone out to either repair or replace the tub.
Yesterday I received a bill in the mail for $7.50 for the wax ring and $189 for the hour that the plumber was there. Which should have been 30 minutes, according to him, but repairing the tub took another 30 minutes. My boyfriend called in and they simply stated that's the charge. They also thought he hung up and proceeded to call him a jerk.
I understand that accidents happen, but now I have a brand new tub that needs repairing and a bill for something that took about 20 minutes....
Ashley C.Affordable, reliable, and excellent customer service. I'm proud to support this local business and will continue to do so as I need additional plumbing assistance.
I will never be using Cady plumbing again. After they fixed one of the issues I had called them for they said they didn't have time to fix the rest and that I would have to call back and make another appointment. I walked the 2 guys through the rest of my issues and they said they needed another 2-4 hours so to be sure to schedule that. I immediately called the company after they left and let them know I needed a longer appointment next time.. up to 4 hours. I waited patiently and 2 weeks later they were able to come out again. The 2nd visit the plumber was not able to do the task, which wasn't his fault, but then he said he had to leave again due to time constraints and that I would need to call back and schedule a 3rd visit. I pushed back and told him I had been specific with scheduling in all the jobs needed to be completed and that I did not want to wait another few weeks again. He left and I called the office to complain and they did not care. They expected me to wait again for a 3rd appointment. I did all I could to explain to the plumbers all the jobs I had for them and to the scheduler. Just beware... they will only stay for 2 hours at a time!! What a waste of my time and patience. I am calling a company that will finish the job the first time!
tani s.We've used Cady for years. They are first rate.
Andrew replaced a Moen bathtub faucet cartridge which was a challenge since it was
stuck inside the valve body including the retaining ring. He was very persistent and
knowledgeable and got the job done. Two other well-known plumbers did not want
to ""touch"" this job because of ""negative complications"" should they not be able to
remove the ""old"" cartridge without damaging the valve body. They also came on
time as promised. A good plumber is very hard to find!
Andrew came out today to fix a shower; he was very helpful and professional and got the job done today including finding the Needed parts
