After losing a water heater to a tank leak and reading his reviews, I left Tom a late-evening VM and asked him to call me the next day during business hours. He called me promptly, the next morning. I had a large electric heater and was considering a tankless model and possibly a propane version. After a long discussion of the pro, cons and costs, I decided to stick with an electric tank model. He gave me a quote and then said he'd sit on it for an hour or two while I compare other offers. I suspect he knew I'd end up choosing him. He showed up that afternoon and the job was done professionally in about 2-3 hours. He is my new permanent plumber. I can't recommend him strongly enough.

I tried, but was unable to replace my sink faucet because the nozzle was broken. Tom came to the house, assessed the situation and suggested that the broken part could either be accessed for free from the manufacturer or for $20 from Home Depot. Instead of replacing the faucet for over $100, he gave us great information and charged us $20 for the trip. Tom is good at his job and honest. What more can you ask?

First Yelp review! 2nd time dealing with CT Hardisty. First time was just on the phone, where he walked me through some troubleshooting and avoided having him come out at all. Second time was for multiple water stains on my ceiling. What we both thought was going to be simple pinhole leaks in the pipes turned into something more complicated. Tom worked really hard to figure out the best (most minimal but effective) solution to the problems. He explained the worst case scenario but fortunately it was avoided. Throughout his time there, as things kept getting more complicated, my mental calculator kept going up and up. When the job was completed, I held my breath but was totally relieved to see a very, very reasonable final bill. As an aside, he tried his best to leave minimal mess and was very good at cleaning up after himself. Highly recommend and will use again!

Called on a Sunday afternoon after discovering our bedroom floor (carpet) was very wet presumably due to a leaky shower in our master bathroom. Tom called back about 20 mins later. We discussed the situation and decided it could wait until Monday morning. Gave me a window of time when he would show up and called 30 mins prior to confirm. Was on time and very efficient. He assessed the situation and fixed the leak by replacing the cartridge. He also provided some advice for an unrelated issue. At the end, he gave me a 10% discount for being a first-time customer! I would use him again for future plumbing needs.
