We have bought a new microwave over the range for a replacement, the preferred installers from Home Depot came and refused to install it due to granite behind the microwave. I found C&M Home Appliance, they quickly responded the call and providing the services fast and reasonable prices. DeMarco is champs, pro-installer and detailed, he and his assistant did a great job, we're happy with his work, and absolutely will call again in the future for other projects.

My new gas range, bought and delivered by Home Depot, had a continuous gas leak. Twice I had GE warranty reps out and neither time did they fix it.
Home Depot had the stance that once you received your appliance it is yours, they are no longer responsible.
I called PG&E as I was beginning to think I was going crazy. They came out, informed me that the range was installed incorrectly, disconnected it, capped off the line and said I cannot use it.
I called C&M Home Appliance and asked if he could help me. He was very positive right from the start.
He and his Son (partners) came out immediately, after I explained my dilemma. Within a short time I had my stove installed CORRECTLY and working great. They gave me a great reduced rate because of all we went through.
I highly recommend this Father and Son duo, they are very professional and easy to work with.

Our dishwasher went out on us on Monday and had to get a new one which was delivered on Wednesday. I called C & M and WOW!!! First of all, I was super impressed with their response time and willingness to work with me. The day was already stressful (it's not easy to find a dishwasher at a decent price thats in stock and very difficult to find someone to install it nowadays) and they made it a lot easier. Lowes called me Wednesday afternoon saying my dishwasher was an hour away and I texted C & M saying it was on its way and they were a little while later to install it- i should say we planned for Thursday morning since Lowes said delivery times at between 8am and 8pm- so that was impressive. When C&M arrived they were super friendly and helpful- this father & son duo really know their stuff and they work fast and efficient. I will definitely be using them again since they do residential and commercial work!! Also, their prices are super competitive and the quality of work they do is outstanding!

Major shout out to DeMarco (408)609-1519; License# 43586) who proved to be a lifesaver. We purchased a great microwave above range oven from Home Depot to replace an existing one, and they were contracted to install it. Home Depot installers show up, and refuse to drill holes in the tile backsplash, despite the Home Depot store clerk guarantee that they could and would do this for us, and they did not properly cover the glass cook top beneath it, nor clean up after the removal. Long story short, they left us in the lurch after removing the old unit AND leaving the new one unboxed BUT uninstalled. After many calls to find someone who could do this for us, as if by magic, we found DeMarco. Smart, friendly, experienced, cordial, he was in the middle of something, but came over about 30 minutes after we called. He arrived promptly, he and his assistant immediately donned protective booties before entering, had all the tools, laid out a thick, furniture protective mat over our glass cook top, and in less than 30 minutes was leaving with our thanks and a handshake. I cannot more highly recommend him to anyone, and he does a wide range of home handyman duties including fencing. He is polite, very professional, seasoned and experienced. I trust him, and will be using him for additional handyman projects that I will be lining up. When you want someone qualified, trustworthy, and backs up him estimate with a solid, professional job completed. He is the real deal, AND he was mentoring another younger man as his assistant. In a word, quality!

I've recently purchased a home and am in the process of selling my existing home and because of that, I've dealt with a lot of contractors from various industries over the last 2 months.

Demarco is, by far, the worst I've come across.

September 24th, I schedule installation of a gas range I purchased from Home Depot, appointment was October 14th, a day after scheduled delivery of the oven. He quoted me a price of $325, more expensive than 2 other quotes, but due to him being able to accommodate my schedule, I accepted.

October 13th the night before the appointment, Demarco texts me at 8:45pm asking to confirm appointment and requests a picture of the oven.

I send him the picture and he texts me again at 9:00pm the night before the appointment I scheduled weeks ago, saying the install would cost $480!

I call him immediately and complain. He says he didn't know I was in concord and from San Jose would be far. $155 INCREASE FOR GAS? Ignoring the very first text from me is my address with concord, ca in it. He then asks some questions about the specific oven. The install is an exact model for model replacement of a non working over, pretty much as easy as it gets for an installer. I told him it's not fair to do this the night before and it seems he trying to take advantage of my situation being the day before install. He reluctantly agreed to the initially quoted $325 price.

I let him know Home Depot is delivering a day late but was assured they would deliver by 2pm our appointment time, by the local carrier. He said no problem. I asked if his afternoon was open if I needed to move the install back a couple hours, he said he had no other appointment and it would be no problem at all.

An hour before the appointment, I text him to update him on the delivery and he texts me back saying he will not install the oven and didn't want me waiting all day, as if he's doing me the courtesy of advance notification, yet in reality it's a hour and 15 minutes before the appointment and he totally screwing me.

The reason? He prefers the unit be delivered the day before, something he had no problem with just hours before. He says thanks you and take care, not try to schedule another day.

It's obvious he didn't want to honor is price. Just make sure you get something in writing from Demarco if it's a big enough job.

I find it funny he used the same phrases he replies with to bad reviews here.

It's funny how he puts himself and this company on a pedestal, NEWSFLASH GUY...you can't hold yourself so highly when your actively LYING and CHEATING your customers.

Like I said, out of at least a dozen contractors over the last couple months, this company is BY FAR THE WORST...STEER CLEAR!!! I promise you it's not worth the headache. This guy doesn't care one bit about his customers and is quick to screw them over if it benefits him somehow.

So I got connected to C&M Home Applicance Installation and Luid Castello came to help me install. He did not only install the cooktop (which is a perfect job) but also went above and beyond to help check my heater and teach me how to turn it on. I had a gentleman out today, on a holiday, wonderful, to install and hook up my portable air conditioner. I am an older woman, not being able to move heavy items.
I recommend this business highly. Professional, installation done. Thank God someone out there that cares for their customers. On time, explained as he was installing, how the air conditioner works. Showed me parts, where to drain water, just explained all. Very happy customer today. I did get the referral from Home Depot.

Needed help with a island hood install. Person sent out was sloppy and made too many mistakes where I eventually had to step in to do the install and give him instructions. I later learned he was not even a licensed contractor but a nephew of the owner of the business. The hood is installed but not even correctly. Does not work to actually exhaust oven gasses. I will need to redo the entire thing myself. Terrible job, do not hire!
