The company was founded in 1922 by James Matthews as a tin shop. C. Albert, his son, assumed control early on, evolving it into the family-owned plumbing, heating, and air conditioning firm we know. Today, John Pritchett, the grandson of Mr. Matthews, carries on the legacy as the fourth generation of ownership.

I grew up in the Mid-Shore Delmarva region. I earned my degree from Salisbury State University in 1999. I am fortunate to have a wonderful wife, Rachel, and three delightful children. As a proud fourth-generation owner, I have dedicated over 15 years to our family business.
