Sha- D.Called and they were there first thing in the morning! Very nice and Polite owner and the young man who came was very nice and fixed my problem! Yea, I finally found a plumber I can trust!!! Thank You Burpee's
Kyle is the best! My toilet was clogged, and Kyle fixed it! He was there in a timely manner, and he had a smile to die for. I would definitely recommend these guys. A for effort!
Tricia N.I have been calling Burpee's over the past couple years for small-to-medium jobs around my condo and am always pleased with the service. Mike answers the phone and is great about scheduling. Steve has done fast and stellar work for me. I recently had a 2-day/2-part job and Phil made it happen without a hitch. I appreciated his communication via email/text and diligent explanation of what needed to be done; use of tech tools at his disposal (app) and simply doing a great job over-delivering on the service while coming in under the initial quote. Highly recommend.
Mimi H.I don't yelp review that much, but I feel that I really need to share my positive review for Kyle from Burpee plumbing. My shower water was coming in cold/lukewarm and my hoa told me that their plumber would be charging me over $200 to replace the cartridge and fix it. Luckily I waited and my neighbor recommended Kyle from Burpee plumbing. Kyle was very professional and he even called before he headed over to let me know the ETA. Kyle was courteous, fast, explained what was happening, was very honest. Kyle figured out that I really did not need a new cartridge (like what the hoa plumber was going to charge me for) and he ended up fixing the issue without me having to pay for any new parts or services. I am so glad I now know of a good plumber and plumbing company to call on in case I ever need it (hopefully not!)Kyle gets an A+ from me. Burpee Plumbing was a pleasure to work with as well.
Tara M.Kyle was amazing. He fixed our washed and drying gas and water hook up. The project ended up being more labor intensive then originally planned. He spent the whole day working and was so clean, patient and thorough. Honest, hardworking and reliable.
Kyle was AWESOME to work with!
Our issue:
The shower water wouldn't stay hot. It was hot in the kitchen and bathroom sinks but not the shower/bath. We called around and the water heater guys suggested having the cartridge in the shower changed.
The introduction:
Kyle was fixing something at our neighbor's place. He had no problem dropping by our condo to assess the issue and give us an estimate. He estimated it would take two hours. We were able to schedule something for the next day (which is now today).
The result:
Perfection. First, I want to comment on his professional demeanor. I am female and was home alone at the time. I felt very comfortable having him here. Of course, it helped to have met him the day prior with my neighbor present. Now, I want to tell you about the best part...Not only is the issue fixed, but he did it in only 1 hour instead of 2! So, it didn't end up costing as much as I anticipated. He was really awesome.
Nutshell:
I would definitely recommend these guys. I have only worked with Kyle and I would totally request him next time.
Benjamin E.Wow these guys are great. Mike the owner answers the phone is completely professional and honest. Even on thanksgiving night they worked. Had complete back up they came out and had it cleared in no time. No up sales just hard working guys trying to make a living. No price hiking for the holiday. They said between 8 and 10 by 8:01 they were ring my door bell. After the service was complete Mike called to make sure everything was okay and I was happy. If you need a plumber and want a smell good, reasonable Plummer who knows what they're doing call Burbee. Mike thank you for being a good man and great small business. Burbee all the way. SAVED MY THANKSGIVING.
I called Mike to dislodge a toy from my toilet. I noticed I had a problem when my toilet would gurgle after flushes. I have toto toilets so I'm accustom to strong reliable flush.
He took my call late at night and slotted me in the next day. I have 3 kids and this was my first experience with this sort of issue. Let's just say I was lucky the toy didn't go down the sewer line. It helped that Mike was able to schedule me in so fast. His crew is friendly and easy going which made the experience pleasant.
I wish they had a bumper sticker I can put on my toilet for future house calls.
Thanks Mike!
I will NEVER use this company again. I chose them because some neighbors told me they liked them. I needed the two toilet flush systems replaced, and a new faucet installed in the kitchen. I thought I had all the parts.
First, after the plumber was finished and ready to be paid, I noticed he had not installed the soap dispenser that came with the new faucet. I was told he couldn't drill a hole in the sink for it, but that I would have to call a tile person! (I had previously had a different plumber install a water purification dispenser in the same sink, and they had no trouble drilling a hole for it.) If this plumber had advised me before he started, I may have chosen to get another company, but I have now lost that option.
Second, my two toilets are ""power flushers"". The package of new flushing systems I had bought were for normal toilets, which I didn't know. Rather than advise me of this, the plumber simply opened both packages and put in the few parts that would fit. But neither toilet flushes properly now, and I can't return the parts, because of what he did. He should have told me FIRST that I didn't have the right parts, and if he didn't have them, I could have returned the ones I had and hired someone to install them.
Third, he cleaned up the water in both bathrooms with my brand new white bath towels! He should have (and did for the kitchen) used his own materials to clean up.
Fourth, he left all the old dirty wet parts to fill up my bathroom trash cans, rather than dispose of them as he did with the old kitchen parts.
NOW, I am left with two toilets that do not flush properly, parts I cannot return, and a half finished kitchen sink installation.
I immediately made an effort to contact a manager or the owner. I left a detailed written message for them on their website. Two weeks went by, no response.
I sent another message to them using their email address, and I am still not getting the courtesy of a response.
Oh, and did I mention that he charged me $125 just to install the wrong parts in my toilets?
I cannot see why anyone would want to give this company business. They clearly do a shoddy job, and then refuse to even communicate with an unhappy customer.
Bobby L.Had to get my pressure regulator replaced, and these guys finished the work on the same day I called, at a great price. Tanner was fast and took care of everything efficiently.
