For thirty years, Burkell has always come through--quickly, professionally, courteously--through a series of plumbing emergencies (including a tree through the roof). We recently came home from a long trip to find that a kitchen pipe had broken and caused a minor flood. Burkell came first thing the next morning with every part needed and fixed everything within an hour. Fantastic guys, reasonable rates. We consider them our household heroes!

We are very happy with the service we received from Jeremy at Burkell Plumbing last week. Our sewer main backed up and he was able to come out within a couple of hours. He rooted out the blockage, then volunteered to fix a leaky outside faucet, and snaked out our bathtub and bathroom sink drains as well since it was within the hour minimum charge. He was professional, friendly, and thoroughly responsive to our needs. We will call him again should we need plumbing services. Highly recommended!

They can be nice but some are VERY entitled. So it takes a special, patient group to be so successful in this part of the country. Excellent service! The plumber was on time, replaced the leaking pipes and explained every changed that had to be made and why one pipe had to be upgraded for another. I will call them for my next plumbing repair.

The biggest disappointment was calling Burkell in the first place it took them three different parts and two weeks to fix the problem it ran for 40 minutes and won't come back on do not use this company they can't fix anything

No stars. Their service has seriously deteriorated. They left us without help on a cooling issue during last year's heat wave, which was after doing preventative heating service and leaving a unit not working, shame on me for using them again. No apologies or follow-up.

Plumbing used to be better than HVAC but this week they just want to take the most expensive possible route without good diagnostics.

I've used them for years but never again for anything. They've never been the cheapest so definitely avoid.

We recently had a shower with a bad leak, and initially chose a local Mill Valley plumbing service (which will remain nameless) based on the very high reviews on Yelp. Boy, was that a mistake! The man who came out brought a condescending attitude, couldn't figure out how to remove the shower handle faceplate, and he said he'd have to knock a hole in the wall to get at the shower cutoff valves, if there even was cutoff valves. Alternatively, he offered to cut and cap the shower water lines in the basement for $250, leaving us with a non-functional shower -- but at least the leak would be fixed (eyeball roll). Lastly, he estimated a $3000, all-day repair job to replace the shower fixtures, which is daylight robbery. For that kind of money, we should get a remodeled bathroom!

So we called out Burkell Plumbing instead, on a neighbor's recommendation. What a difference! Jeff from Burkell came out that same morning. He arrived early and got straight to it, popped the faceplate off, diagnosed the problem and had the leak fixed and the shower fully operational in a little over an hour! Total cost $285, less than a tenth of what that MV-based company wanted.

Henceforth, we will call Burkell Plumbing every time. Jeff, thanks very much for your honest and competent work!
