Excellent service!!! Terry was so friendly and professional scheduling my appointment. John came during the appointment window. Professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I would definitely use this company again.
The technician that came out for our backed up toilet didn't even bother looking at the toilet or checking what the source of the problem could be. He insisted it was due to our uneven floor...that's not how physics works but ok... When I called to have them come out once the toilet started overflowing to actually fix the problem, no one would return my calls. Several gallons of disaster and nearly 24 hours with no water to the house later, and a real plumber discovered that there was a large, blue shop towel stuck 60' down the pipe! Uneven floors caused that though. I would never recommend this business.
Jason H.My home warranty company (Fidelity Home Warranty) has contracted with them. Similar to other reviews, the customer service has been awful. They simply will not return my phone calls. The claim was made in October and now 1 month later the issue remains unfixed.
The person who was dispatched came out to repair my broken instant hot water heater. He came out, disassembled the system, tried to install a replacement system that did not fit. He told me he would have to go order a new system and I have not heard from him since.
I've called and left multiple voicemails over the course of the past 3 weeks and received zero response. If they would just call me back and give me a response as to why there has been a delay and an estimated time to get the project completed I could be completely happy, but the failure to even try to provide customer service is beyond frustrating. I've called my home warranty company (Fidelity) and all they can tell me is that THEY cannot get a call back either. Very disappointed.
King K.The worst customer service experience. I am amazed how some can still be in business with this pathetic business practices. I got them through the home warranty. They fixed the time and never showed up.. No updated and never bothered to contact me. Then fixed another appointment and again never showed up and no updates again they never bothered to contact me. I tried calling and the lady at front desk was the rudest person I ever worked with. I escalated with the home warranty company and finally heard from them, Appointment was fixed yet again and finally the team showed up. They came and asked for a price more than earlier fixed. We ended up getting the work done after a lot of headache.
I wanted not to give a star but that is not an option here. Do not work with them. Or work with them if you have a lot of time and energy.
WORST COMPANY TO WORK WITH
Horrible service , the person showed up unprepared and gave a false diagnostic. Our Home warranty company sent them out but the company had poor customer service and little knowledge of the repairs needed. I would never recommend this company to anyone. is why I am NOT surprised the poor rating.
I usually don't write negative reviews; however, the way the installer, Scott, spoke to me on the phone has me so rattled I had to write something. I was stunned with his attitude, his anger and how he told me he was going to call in sick so I didn't get a water heater. All because i was concerned at how late he was going to come to my house. After 5pm because he didn't feel like working. It's unfortunate because I gave them a chance regardless of the reviews I read - especially after talking to the woman on the phone. She was great. She understood my need for hot water and although she promised Friday, she scheduled him for Saturday. Saturday was day 5. I ended up cancelling the service call and would rather go another week without hot water. Scott should be fired and American home shield should not use this company
Horrible customer service! I have AHS to thank for hooking me up with this mess of a business. It has been since the last tech was there on September 23rd that this house has been waiting for a water heater. Zero call backs to the MANY messages left on company phone. No one answers. Ever. I do not recommend Budget Rooter! The only reason you're getting 1 Star is because I HAVE to so I can post this review!
They kept in contact and returned all of my calls. That really impresses me. The plumber arrived right on time. He repaired the water heater right away.
Budget Rooter was referred to me by my Home Warranty (American Home Shield).
I know about gas water heater but when it comes to electric water heaters I am a novice! It turned out to be that the breaker inside of the water heater needed to be reset.

THE NAME SAYS IT ALL. My home warranty sent this company to my house at which they displayed their incompetence. If your home has a clogged main line. Don't call them, they'll say they can't find the clean out and leave. I found it it in 2 minutes, and I'm NOT a plumber.

Flexible, courteous, sharing and totally competent. I'll request them for any future needs. Thanks scheduler Terry and Carlos!!! Made my day and fixed my issue.
