Worst company ever! Was assigned by American Homeshield this nightmare company. They sent someone to my home without me making the appointment. i wasn't available for the appointment they booked without my consent and lied to the warranty company that I was a no show. Tried calling 4 5 days only to get an answering machine. American Home Sheild is just as shady fir allowing thus without resolving. Day 5 and still no call back, still no answer from them and no access to their customers service. I'm filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau

I too was mandated by my warranty company to use this plumber. I called on Friday to book them, and they didn't come until 6:40 Tuesday night. He arrived with no tools, not a tool box, belt anything! When I described our intermittent issue, he quickly started telling me every excuse as to why he could not work on it or trouble shoot. He said, it wasn't covered, it was booked as something different, and that if it's not happening now (5 days later) he can't do anything. He said I needed to call someone to snake it, or to put a camera down. I told him that my understanding was that is what he was doing. I even offered to pay since he said it wouldn't be covered, and he said he didn't have a snake and that his camera was broke. This was an absolute joke!! Ultimately, he was here 10 minutes, put TP in the toilet, flushed, and said it looked good to him. I explained it's intermittent, but then he said I need to call my sewer dept. to fix the issue. I would NEVER recommend them, and more importantly, now that I'm reading all these reviews and seeing the 1.5 overall rating, I'm more disappointed with my Home Warranty Company; Fidelity National for even using such a subpar business. When reaching out to them to solve our issues, I trusted that they are using reputable companies!

Company is TRASH! They never answer phones and if they don't want the job they will make an issue look like it's your fault to a warranty company, which makes the company not fix it.

Don't call these people!

My sink disposal went out and my warranty sent out Budget rooter to help out. Not only did they get me scheduled quickly, I was seen the very next day early morning. The lady who scheduled my appointment over the phone was very helpful and got back to me quickly, the gentleman Randy who came to fix my sink was very nice and knowledgeable. Appreciate him getting to me so early. Kept his mask on and kept his distance. Very professional.

Randy is the worst. Our toilet is leaking so we called our home warranty. The first time he came out he said he couldn't find the leak. We called the home warranty and they sent Randy out again. Randy tried to say we needed a new toilet, he didnt even try just plain lazy. he is very rude and all around not a good person. Why are you even in business to fix stuff if you dont want to do any work. Do not use this company I'm warning you even if your home warranty tries tell them NO!. He cant fix anything. And he said he was the owner when my husband asked to talk to his boss.

What a joke

This big dude showed up 3 hours BEFORE the scheduled time. Sat in rim of my tub to inspect our leaking toilet and he didn't move once he sat down. Me and my sister (who are both in our 20s) we're repeatedly trying to get him to see the leak but he refused to even acknowledge that there was an issue. He spoke to us like we were children and not home owners trying to get a problem fixed. He said it could be a water restriction issue that his company doesn't cover. I said okay what's the estimate of that then? And this fool said ""could be a hundred could be thousands"" like why are you even here you have not helped even a little bit. So we called the company and he came back a few days later and now that I had my father here he didn't speak like he was talking to little girls anymore but he still fixed nothing and refused to even look at our kitchen sink that also has a clog now too. SO THEN I'm upset. I told him he was an incompetent worker because literally he has been here twice and fixed nothing and we pay over $600 a year for this service. He said he was feeling attacked and went to leave and when my dad asked to speak to his boss he said ""I'm the owner"" and my dad said ""ohhh that's why the reviews on Yelp say your company is a piece of shit. And this fool turned around and charged back towards my dad. We have 4 small children here that need to use the fucking toilet and kitchen sink. We will NEVER use this service again and are livid with the customer service we have received.

Do not use budget rooter. I have gone through my home warranty and have been waiting for 4 weeks to get someone out here. Budget do not return your calls and when they finally sent a technician out here, he said he could not install the garbage disposal without an air gap. We have not had an air gap for the 8 years we've been in this residence. He referred his friend to install the air gap who caused additional damage after installing an air gap. We now have two sinks that back up when the original problem was the garbage disposal was leaking which still has not been fixed.

Worst plumbing service company!!! Will never use again. My home warranty (American Home Shield) sent Budget Rooter to come fix my broken water heater in Nov/Dec 2020 but after they fixed the water heater I no longer have heat inside my house. I don't quite understand, but apparently there's a connection between the water heater and my home heating system. I've called Budget Rooter multiple times and left many messages, but they have not attempted to contact me once. In addition, per Budget Rooter, I paid over $1000 extra to have them install extra things to ensure my water heater system was up to city code. As part of the extra cost, they were supposed to send me a package so that I can make an appt with the city to come inspect and certify the system. To this day I still have not received the promised package. I'm now out over $1000 with no heat inside my house and no certified water heater system.

Budget Rooter was assigned by my home warranty to come out and assess a leak. They gave me a 6 hour window --- and when I called to try and narrow the time I was told they had ""no control"" over routes. The gentleman showed up AFTER the six hour window (I had to stay home the whole day during a rare day off over the holidays), and then improperly filed with my warranty in that they didn't even provide a quote for the work. Anyhow, my claim didn't get processed or approved with no quote for how much the actual work would cost. After researching the company and finding endless bad reviews, I called the warranty company and asked for a new plumber to come out. I literally wasted weeks with a leaky pipe due to Budget Rooter, I highly recommend you look elsewhere.
