American home shield assigned them for a claim for my leaking garbage disposal. They came out 4 days after the claim was assigned to them. I received a text 30 mins before Dustin arrived.

Dustin was nice and cordial. He came in and went right to the job. He replaced the garbage disposal and gave me some handy tips on how to reset if necessary. He was in and out in less than 15 mins.

For the job he did, I highly recommend budget rooter.

I took off for star for the 10am-3pm service window. That's a long time to wait around - at least for me.

If I could give them a negative star I would. After reading the other reviews, it seems that their only business is with AHS and all of the reviews are mostly one star. Both Budget Rooter and AHS are horrible. Do not go with either!! They will try to blame you for things so that they don't have to fix it. And then they blame each other for blaming you. It's been a nightmare the last couple of days. I rather pay outside of pocket then deal with either of them.

Kitchen sink had been giving us on-off problems for months. We've tried another company with a promo for which we basically just threw money away, guy who came barely did anything and just gave up after one try. But with these guys, the issue had been completely resolved and the plumber did extra things like cleaning some of the mess outside caused by the drainage issue.

DO NOT USE BUDGET ROOTER! WORST COMPANY EVER. This company was assigned by American Home Shield to come out and unplug our two kitchen sinks. I called them 3 days in a row and no one ever answered. I also left numerous messages and no one ever returned my call. Then I would call and it said their voice mail was full. I called American Home Shield back and they also tried to get a hold of them and they didn't answer their calls either. Why would AHS use a loser company like this - but then that's the kind of companies AHS uses. I don't know how Budget Rooter even stays in business. It looks like most of their reviews say the same thing.

Our water heater broke so we put in a claim with American Home Shield (seemingly the only way Budget Rooter acquires its unfortunate customers.) This was back on July 6th. It's now July 29th. They are well aware we've been without hot water this entire time. They clearly don't care. They are actively ignoring our calls and texts. They are not sorry. I called AHS and they were not surprised. They also did not care. They simply shrugged and said they'll try to find another vendor. There is no method of holding either the vendor or AHS accountable. Criminals, all.

I too got stuck with this outfit from my home warranty company. When they finally showed up 4 hours into a 5 hour time window, the guy repaired only 1 of the multiple items scheduled. He left all the leaking faucets and Leaking Water Heater for another day. When that day came, they were invisible. No contact, no answering their business phone. When I called executives at home warranty, they called the tech and he answered but never spoke. We listened to him walking getting into his truck and even listened to his radio talk show but never spoke to the executive or me. To date out water heater is still leaking and we must start over.

Worst company Everrrr!! American home shield sent this company to my house after a problem with a toilet.. The first visit they came out they told me nothing was wrong with the toilet.. after five overflows from my toilet they sent another technician out who told me and left a receipt stating I needed a new toilet.. I can't count how many messages I have left with the company they have never responded to one phone call I have made to them.
They lied to American home shield and said that they had snaked the toilet which did not occur and stated there was nothing wrong with the toilet. This all began April 10 we are now headed towards August.. do not trust company. Like I said I have a huge pink receipt which states the toilet needs to be replaced.. this is fraud...FRAUD!!!

Worst plumbing company in existence. The worker that came out was good courteous however, he stated that he would tell my warranty company that I needed a new faucet as it was leaking internally and spilling into my Cupboards and back wall creating mold. I called my warranty company and the budget rooter never entered any info to be reimbursed. I've called multiple times and left multiple messages and always get sent to the messaging service and never get a call back. Worst plumbing company ever. The office staff is horrible, stay away.

These people have terrible customer service. I got stuck with them from my home warranty service. They have difficult business hours, so it took forever to get in touch with someone to schedule a service. I had to wait a week for a service time that would work for me and then when that appointment time came, NO ONE SHOWED UP. Then they NEVER answered calls from me or the warranty company to try to figure out what happened or to reschedule. Because of their terrible business practices, they delayed my job getting done for about a month because the warranty company was still trying to reach out to them to close up the open contract. I will never use this company. Very disappointed.
