Horrible and inaccurate diagnosis. Tech came out and spent 5 minutes looking at faucet and left. Reported to our home warranty company that we abused it and it was broken off intentionally, therefore our warranty doesn't apply. That wasn't what happened, and how would he know how it was really broken when he didn't even touch it or take it apart. Shame on American Home Shield for working with this cheap company that clearly does not know how to do their job.

This company was sent by my home warranty company Fidelity for my bathtub and laundry not draining and low water pressure throughout the house. The tech came out, tried to snake my bathtub, told me the snake is to big and he doesn't have a smaller snake so there is either a complete blockage or the pipe is cracked. He went out to the laundry room and looked at the pipe that the washer drains into; he then tells me that he doesn't have the correct tool to get the cap off because it is on too tight. And for the water pressure, he stated that my faucet ""was a cheap $20 faucet from Wal-Mart."" Keep in mind I never had water pressure issues before everything started backing up and the pressure is not just in the kitchen, it is throughout the whole house including the hose outside. He then left with no explanation on the next step or time frame. I called the company only with the calls going straight to voicemail. A lady called me back hours later stating she has to wait until the tech turns in his paperwork by 3pm (24 hours since he left my house) to see what is going on. She then calls back stating they are referring me to a company that can look in the pipes with cameras. How can they determine anything if the tech did not show up with the correct tools. Not to mention we woke up this morning with BLACK WATER now in our tub. I feel this company is scamming the warranty company to ""show up"" and charge a fee and then to say ""oh we do not do that so you have to be referred out."" COMPLETE JOKE!!!

As of right now. I am not happy with this company. Tired calling them and like others and they have NOT returned any of my phone calls, I keep getting voice mail. Disappointed with American Home Shields warranty company. This is bad business.

So, since last time...they never called me back for an appointment they just showed up at my house on Monday. Someone keeps calling me at work so finally I'm able to answer telling me ""are you at home?"" Then ""well can you come home?"" Wtf? Why didn't you schedule with me before you just send someone. So while I'm on the phone with her I tell her Friday anytime, she says that works for them and I will get a call or text when the technician is on there way. Immediately after I get a text stating my appointment is between 2-7pm. Friday rolls around I wait around from 1pm to now 730 and not a single message from this company. They never showed up...this company is the worst. If you use your home warranty (fidelity for me) demand another company to come out.

We had a gas leak in our water heater and our home warranty contacted Budget Rooter. I was not happy because they didn't have very good reviews. But Mark showed up at the scheduled time, was very knowledgeable and resolve our issue immediately. Thx Mark and Budget Rooter we will request your company for any future plumbing issues!

I was given this company through American Home Shield for a leak coming from my Jetted Bathtub. There is a wet spot in the floor near the tub intake valve.

A rep came out, looked at our Jetted Tub, said they would have to have another rep who was a specialist come and look again to confirm it was the intake valve, as well as repair it. He did not open the side, he did not test the tub, put any water int it, nor run the jets. A few days later, I heard nothing so I called. They said they referred it back to AHS, called AHS, they had assigned another company. Yesterday, I got a call from AHS saying the claim was denied, because Budget Rooter said it was a Jet. There was no way this was true, as the jets are far away from where the leak is at. Essentially, they lied to AHS about our problem, and really had no idea what was going on. Don't use these guys, try to see if your home warranty company will change the vendor if possible. I have explained things to AHS, and they reopened the case, and are sending another company out. .

I really want to take care of this but to have their customer service person give misleading information to the Home warranty company about this was pretty over the top, when he did absolutely nothing but make assumptions, not actually diagnose.

I had my hot water heater go out Thursday night. I contacted my home warranty people who then put me in touch with Budget Rooter and Plumbing. Spoke to a super friendly lady named Carrie who sent someone out first thing Friday morning. They quickly assessed what needed to be done and started the process of having our hot water heater replaced. Know mind you it's Easter weekend and I wasn't expecting to have anyone come out until Monday. They treated this as an urgent matter and Carrie scheduled someone to come out today, Saturday, to have it replaced. They worked with my home warranty people and made sure to tell me what my out-of-pocket would be. A gentleman named John showed up and was extremely friendly and also went over the cost again. He said the job would take about 2 to 3 hours. He was extremely professional and got the job done quickly. I highly recommend this company for their professionalism and also their quality of work. Anytime you're dealing with a Home Warranty company it's a Gamble. We definitely hit the jackpot with these guys. Especially John. Great guy. Keep up the good work.

Unprofessional. Showed up in a passenger van with no markings, and didn't introduce himself. I actually had to ask what his name was....""Mark"".... and ole mark has no problem interrupting and/or talking over you. He interrupts and try's to act like he knows what he's saying but it's wrong and embarrassing. He actually called me ""big guy"" a couple times... I'm 5'10"".

His overall unprofessionalism and and general lack of knowledge was disgusting and I will never let this company back in my home. I wish I could leave negative stars because the experience I had with Skid-Mark doesn't deserve one star.

Worst company I have ever dealt with! This is my first bad review on yelp because I never take the time to post negative feedback but this time it is worth it! Just as everyone else is saying worst customer service and no better performer.. I am in shock this business is still in business and I would encourage anyone thinking about working with them to NOT work with them!

Absolutely the worst company we have done business with. Please avoid. Our home warranty company assigned them out and they tried to scam us and left without putting things back together. Others should read the reviews, this is how they seem to operate.
