I received a letter from Walnut Valley Water District saying that my water meter was showing continuous water flow, which was an indication of water leak. They required me to fix it within 5 days. Time was running short since I received the letter on a Friday. I checked Yelp for 5-star plumbers who have leak detection equipment. One of them responded Monday morning and sent a plumber over to inspect. The price was high but I had to accept because of fear that Walnut Valley Water District would cut my water supply after the fifth day.

While the plumber was working on it, Dave Holt of Budget Rooter & Plumbing called me. Of course, I would not blame Dave for not responding earlier since he was still calling me within reasonable time frame.

I told Dave I already had someone working on my leak. Instead of hanging up, Dave gave me some good advice over the phone. I realized that he is a kind-hearted and responsible person who wants to do good jobs for his customers.

I certainly will call him again for my next plumbing project. I guess he will do a nice job with reasonable price.

Since we've lived in our home, Dave has come out twice for two different plumbing issues. He's professional, honest, knowledgeable, and his prices are fair. The first time he fixed our shower after it would not turn off. He came out quickly and fixed it in a timely manner. The second time we had a leak from our tankless water heater. He offered to come out same-day on a Saturday afternoon. After he diagnosed it was an issue with the tankless water heater and not a plumbing issue, he showed my husband how to turn off the water in the meantime. He gave us advice on what to do (ie call the manufacturer), and did not charge us for coming out! What a stand up guy! We will always use Budget Rooter and Plumbing for all of our plumbing needs.
