It was a strange situation,
Bruce and Brian came and were walking around, figuring out why my AC doesn't respond to the modes I put. Then they have found some incorrect reverted connections and put it in the right order. Then, they were checking the system works for about 15 min.
They were here not more then 50 min total.
Installing nothing. (Just through away my old filter and advised me to buy the new one)

That was totally it!

And it did cost $150!!

I was asking for what, but received an answer like it's their rate: coming -$80 and the job... but what was done? Unplug and plug in back in the correct way?!
The only thing which cheers me up is that AC does work properly now

Incredibly disappointed. I found these guys on Yelp and was impressed by their high ratings and positive reviews (I needed an estimate on the installation of a vent for my kitchen range). I called the Tuesday before Labor Day and spoke with Kelsey. She was pleasant on the phone and I could tell by the tone of her voice that she was busy (she stated so herself that the week before Labor Day is usually crazy). She said that an appointment for an estimate would probably be available next Wednesday (in a week) and that she would call me on either Thursday or Friday to confirm an appointment window and if I didn't hear from her, to give the office a call. Great, I thought! Well, Thursday/Friday rolls around and I have not received a phone call so I call Buddy King and speak to Kelsey on the phone again. ""I haven't forgotten about you!"" she said. No worries, I was very understanding because of the fact that it was Labor Day weekend. She still didn't have an appointment window for me but said that there was a job near my property in Inglewood that day and that their repairmen were going to handle that first and as soon as that job was done they would head over to my place to give me an estimate on the work I needed done. Great, I thought! Well, Tuesday rolls around, I still don't have an appointment window so I call and again speak to Kelsey. ""Ok, I have an appointment window between 2:30 and 4:30 on Wednesday."" Wonderful, I thought! I would have to leave work early but that's ok. I leave work around 3 and head to my property. 3:30 rolls around. Then 4. Irritation sets in. Finally at 4:25, I give Buddy King a call. No answer so I leave a message. ""Are you guys still coming today?"" 10 minutes later, Kelsey gives me a call back and says, ""The guy isn't there yet? Let me find out where he is."" Apparently, the schedule was rearranged that day, and the job that was supposed to be done in Inglewood was now a job being completed in Culver City. Well, what the hell? I had already left work early and come to find out that instead of showing up by 4:30, it would be closer to 6 (guy had to finish his job in Culver City then deal with traffic to get to Inglewood). I decided to wait for the person to finish their job and head to my property because I was there already and did not want to book another appointment. The person who did show up was very professional and give me some good information about the vent installation. He said he would email me an estimate within a day or 2. Great, I thought! Well, here we are, over a week later, still no email, still no estimate. I gave them a call this past Tuesday, no one answered and I did not receive a call back. Maybe they do incredibly good work. But I wouldn't know because apparently they can't even communicate a proper meeting time, nor can they keep their word and give me a call back for an estimate. As I said, disappointed to say the least. Should you stay away? Well, were they responsive to you and your requests for meetings and estimates? No? then yeah, find someone else.

I am 8 months pregnant and was dying in this summer heat when Buddy King helped immensely. Kelcie, the manager, was communicative and always available when unique circumstances with my unit arose and was patient and caring when I had pregnancy issues that influenced our work together. Very awesome and highly recommend!

I can't say enough good things about Buddy King. They were easy to get a hold of, efficient, honest and up front about pricing, and did a great job. They came on time too. They are my go to for all hvac/plumbing/electrical from now on.

FIVE STAR service from Buddy King. Yesterday was the third time I've used BK in the last couple of years. Each of those times I've spoken to Kelsey (SP?) on the phone. She has always been polite and helpful in scheduling an appointment. Brian is the guy who made time at the end of a long hot day to squeeze me in last minute for a slow leak and recharge of Freon. I can't tell you how happy I am with the service I've received each time! I would not hesitate to recommend BK to friends or family for their AC needs.

I am giving Buddy King 5 Stars, even though I have never actually gotten service from them. Why, might you ask? Twice in the past two years I have contacted them for emergency service. Both times I was able to fix the problem before a repair could be done (they are closed on the weekends). In each case, the customer service was fantastic. Today I had a problem with my heater. It was sort of an emergency, but as they are closed today the best I could do was an appointment on Monday. After explaining my situation, Brian called me back on his day off to hopefully walk me through the problem. Again, I fixed the problem before he returned my call. When he returned my call (fairly quickly) we had a pleasant chat about what was wrong, and how I fixed it.

I will absolutely call them in the future. Hopefully, I will actually have some paying business for them.

Buddy King provided us with great customer service! Brian gave us a great quote for central air and heat and he and his team were a pleasure to work with! Brian went out of his way to explain everything they were doing through the process of installation and even referred us to someone for post-installation patching. Would highly recommend!

We had Buddy King do an AC installation in our home and overall we had a great experience with them! They got the job done in a very timely fashion and were very efficient in coming in with a full team to get everything done within a week instead of drawing it out with 1-2 people for weeks which we have had other contractors do which is not ideal at all. Buddy King was great, they quoted us a reasonable price and were honest and up front with everything so that there were no surprises during our installation. Brian was great to work with and experienced as well so that really put us at ease. They also returned phone calls within the same day and we just had a good customer experience with them overall.
