Super frustrated. I requested a breakdown of parts and labor and apparently they don't do that, just one number. I sent 6 emails asking and nobody responded until I just spoke to the person who installed my faucets and he said they only send an invoice with a task price. Not very transparent. He also asked what card to charge, when I paid the entire amount weeks ago. They also told me when they went out to do the work, there are valves that need to be replaced, but that was not part of the original estimate. I won't use then again.

The very best... and actually they one and only who is allowed to touch my LG mini split system.
After I had purchased a 3-way LG mini split system for about $4.5K and no one explaining that it needed an LG certified installer and LG incapable of providing LG certified installers and then some very unlicensed attempted installation (sometimes you better not listen to the referrals of your friends) Brian came to the rescue and has been servicing the units ever since. Despite the fact that I was outside of his service area he continues to come the extra way to take care of my needs.

Read this Review! I spent 1 year researching the myriad of heating and cooling companies and reviewing the different furnace companies. Brian at Buddy King came through with a comparable price (even to Costco) with great service. I prefer to support the local businesses. He has been in business for many years and stands by his work.

He and his crew went above and beyond to ensure that the work was completed professionally and accurately. They were clean and respectful to the living areas. We had a few questions afterward and they were terrific at same day call backs. He even traded the thermostat out afterwards as I found one that I preferred...at no charge.

If you are looking for old-fashioned quality service, try Buddy King. Note, Brian is not a smooth salesman type. He is a direct and to the point kind of person. He will tell you straight up what the situation is, even if it hurts his profit. He bypassed installing an extra gadget to give us the correct and best solution.

We were in a difficult situation and Buddy King came to our rescue.
My dear friends lost their home to the recent fire in Malibu and were staying with us until they could find a place of their own. My toilet chose to clog - and when I called - Kelcie assured me she would find someone to help immediately - and within an hour our hero arrived and the toilet clog was cleared!

It was a strange situation,
Bruce and Brian came and were walking around, figuring out why my AC doesn't respond to the modes I put. Then they have found some incorrect reverted connections and put it in the right order. Then, they were checking the system works for about 15 min.
They were here not more then 50 min total.
Installing nothing. (Just through away my old filter and advised me to buy the new one)

That was totally it!

And it did cost $150!!

I was asking for what, but received an answer like it's their rate: coming -$80 and the job... but what was done? Unplug and plug in back in the correct way?!
The only thing which cheers me up is that AC does work properly now

Incredibly disappointed. I found these guys on Yelp and was impressed by their high ratings and positive reviews (I needed an estimate on the installation of a vent for my kitchen range). I called the Tuesday before Labor Day and spoke with Kelsey. She was pleasant on the phone and I could tell by the tone of her voice that she was busy (she stated so herself that the week before Labor Day is usually crazy). She said that an appointment for an estimate would probably be available next Wednesday (in a week) and that she would call me on either Thursday or Friday to confirm an appointment window and if I didn't hear from her, to give the office a call. Great, I thought! Well, Thursday/Friday rolls around and I have not received a phone call so I call Buddy King and speak to Kelsey on the phone again. ""I haven't forgotten about you!"" she said. No worries, I was very understanding because of the fact that it was Labor Day weekend. She still didn't have an appointment window for me but said that there was a job near my property in Inglewood that day and that their repairmen were going to handle that first and as soon as that job was done they would head over to my place to give me an estimate on the work I needed done. Great, I thought! Well, Tuesday rolls around, I still don't have an appointment window so I call and again speak to Kelsey. ""Ok, I have an appointment window between 2:30 and 4:30 on Wednesday."" Wonderful, I thought! I would have to leave work early but that's ok. I leave work around 3 and head to my property. 3:30 rolls around. Then 4. Irritation sets in. Finally at 4:25, I give Buddy King a call. No answer so I leave a message. ""Are you guys still coming today?"" 10 minutes later, Kelsey gives me a call back and says, ""The guy isn't there yet? Let me find out where he is."" Apparently, the schedule was rearranged that day, and the job that was supposed to be done in Inglewood was now a job being completed in Culver City. Well, what the hell? I had already left work early and come to find out that instead of showing up by 4:30, it would be closer to 6 (guy had to finish his job in Culver City then deal with traffic to get to Inglewood). I decided to wait for the person to finish their job and head to my property because I was there already and did not want to book another appointment. The person who did show up was very professional and give me some good information about the vent installation. He said he would email me an estimate within a day or 2. Great, I thought! Well, here we are, over a week later, still no email, still no estimate. I gave them a call this past Tuesday, no one answered and I did not receive a call back. Maybe they do incredibly good work. But I wouldn't know because apparently they can't even communicate a proper meeting time, nor can they keep their word and give me a call back for an estimate. As I said, disappointed to say the least. Should you stay away? Well, were they responsive to you and your requests for meetings and estimates? No? then yeah, find someone else.
