I was not impressed, but not because of the work done but because Buddy never showed up and never called to point out that he was not going to be able to make his appointment. I chose Buddy because of the excellent reviews on his page. I now wonder how many of those are real!

I called with a blocked drain. Buddy called back within twenty minutes, and within an hour had someone at my door. The plumber was competent, and half hour later had lifted my toilet, snaked the drain and replaced the toilet. My only complaint is that two years ago this exact same service cost $175, while this time I was charged $334 - which seems a bit high for half hours work (plus a couple miles of travel). So great service, competent guys, but I'll check prices first next time.

Nik at Buddy Griggs installed a jacuzzi tub and plumbing in our bath & it is really beautiful. He was available on short notice and was very professional. He is extremely knowledgeable and made sure I ordered the exact tub & fixtures needed for the space as well as an access panel for future fixes if needed. Well, this turned out to be a fantastic experience.

We were supposed to have had a new dishwasher installed on Saturday and it couldn't happen due to a stuck under sink shut off valve (calcified). So I called and spoke to Buddy last night (Sunday 8/4) and he set up the appointment for 8am this morning (8/5). Arrived on time...came and looked at the valve and yeppers, it was toast.

Prior to replacing the undersink valve Buddy he went outside to shut off the mains into the house (the above ground stop cock).

Found it wouldn't shut off properly so after shutting off the mains water using the stop cock under plate) he replaced the under sink shut off valve, the outside hose faucet as well as well as the shut off valve outside...and he also checked all the plumbing coming into the house in the underground shut off where the meter is.

It was leaking (after the meter) and so Buddy took care of the loose collars, and then cleaned out and removed all the nasty mud that was in there too..

..and he never charged us for the parts. Just the labour. Fantastic stuff.

Buddy did an amazing job doing a trenchless re-piping of my sewer main.

My house is over 100 years old and located in a historic residential district. We had the misfortune of having our home's sewer service break somewhere under the sidewalk, and the city informed us it was our responsibility. I was referred to Buddy by another plumber and I'm sure glad I was. Buddy pulled the permits with the city, cut the street & sidewalk, and had the new sewer line attached all in 1 day.

During the job he ran into several unforeseen problems, all associated with the age of the home, but he kept his cool and worked through them all. I am very happy with the knowledge, professionalism, and work ethic of Buddy & his crew at Buddy Griggs Plumbing!
