Toby came out to replace a busted bathtub drain assembly, and did an excellent job. The installation was not straight-forward, but he explained exactly what needed to be done to correct the problem, what that would entail in terms of time and materials, and did a really fast, professional job. Pricing was fair, and there were no surprises even despite the tricky installation. On top of the great work, Toby is just a nice guy to talk to, was conscientious of me being on a work call RE noise, and was really neat and clean in the area he was working.

Having to have your sewage pipe replaced is probably one of the least sexy home repairs that you can do. Would you rather have your kitchen remodeled, your bathroom remodeled, or your sewage pipe replaced? These days in Santa Cruz County, in order to do a remodel on your home or to sell your home, you have to pass a sewer inspection. If you fail, you have to have it remedied before you can proceed. A worse situation however, is having a sewage pipe break, which then becomes an emergency. We have had the misfortune of having to have our sewage pipes replaced at our last house in order to sell it and at our new house in order to do a remodel on it. The older the house, probably the less likely it is to pass inspection.

If you need to have your sewage pipe replaced, I can definitely recommend Buddy Griggs. He's prompt at returning phone calls and getting on the job quickly. He's great at doing the inspections with really high-tech equipment, diagnosing problems and problem-solving, and getting the job done right. He can do camera inspections and trenchless replacements, so your whole yard doesn't need to be dug up. He also has guys who are really good diggers. And, Buddy is a very nice guy.

I hope we never have to have another sewage pipe replaced ever again. However, if we do, we will definitely call Buddy Griggs Plumbing.

Toby was wonderful -competent, communicative and quick. He installed a kitchen faucet and was done in under an hour. He wore a mask and maintained a safe distance during the call. Great job!

Toby arrived when he said he would, and cleared the sewer line, and it was cheaper than a couple of the other plumbers quoted. Buddy Griggs Plumbing was also only one of two who returned the call. They called first, so they got the job. We can flush our toilets again! I'm satisfied!

The absolute best plumbing business ever. First I had sewer line that needed replacing ( I had just bought home). Was going to be very expensive and then owner Buddy looked through his paperwork and turned out crazy seller had paid for it already and Buddy completed big job at no cost to me! Then I had main water line break and Buddy was out on a Sunday within an hour to shut off water. Repair started next day. Above and beyond what you would expect. Integrity is priceless and now I have plumber for life! Could not recommend any higher! Plus he is personable, just a real quality individual which is wonderful in these crazy times.

A million stars and heartfelt thanks to Toby at Buddy Griggs Plumbing. I had been home with my newborn for less than a week when we had a clog that put all the bathrooms in my condo out of commission and started leaking through the ceiling downstairs. To say I was stressed out is an understatement. I called several different local plumbers but Buddy Griggs was the only one that willing to treat my issue as an emergency and come out immediately to fix it. Toby was wonderful - he fixed the issue and gave me a lot of information on the plumbing in my building and things to watch out for and other potential issues. He made sure that my HOA was satisfied with the work as well. Highly recommended and will be my first call if I need plumbing services in the future.

Buddy & his crew did a great job for us in replacing a 130-foot pipe from main-line to our house. Everything was good as expected. Work crew were friendly and neat; out-sourced cement job was good. We paid exactly Buddy's estimate, which was more reasonable than others we'd received. We appreciate his work and highly recommend this business.

We were very pleased and impressed with the Buddy Griggs crew's replacement of our sewer line, working around the artistic brickwork on our driveway. Gerardo, Edgar and Miguel (or was it Manuel?) were strong and energetic, fast, efficient and neat. They were thoughtful and well-trained. They communicated well and attended to our wishes. The subcontractors who delivered materials and poured concrete also did a fine job.

Hershel Griggs himself was economical, yet thorough in communicating with us.

They all have our highest recommendations (and we are quite demanding clients, equally concerned with engineering and aesthetics.)
