My air conditioner stopped working overnight. I quickly turned to Yelp to find a HVAC company to come take a look at it. After reading reviews I decided to give Buckner's a call. They open at 7am, I called them at 7:10 and they had somebody at my house by 8am. Talk about quick service!! I needed a part ordered and they were back as quick as they could to get it fixed once the part came in. I believe their prices were very reasonable and very nice people to deal with. I would use them again and highly recommend!

We contacted Buckner's H&C to replace our A/C, and they've done some maintenance for us before. They were competitive with other quotes and were very flexible with scheduling. Day-of they were communicative of their arrival time.

The three guys on the call were very professional, knowledgeable, and worked through several unexpected challenges with the install. They stayed as late as needed to complete the job well. Buckner's is our go-to and we will certainly use them again.

Very disappointed in Buckner' s Heat in & Cooling.
Purchased & installed Trane unit 2011. Only Buckner's has serviced unit.
My cooling went out 3 weeks ago (of course 94 degree weather on a weekend. Buckner's came out changed filter & replaced part. Scott was service tech. Charged $389. Worked for 3 weeks then went out again.
This time they told me to turn unit off but keep fan running 4 hrs then try again. Worked for 2 days, so I ended up calling called them again.
This time spoke with Mike & he said it would be end of week or next week because they don't service Olathe that often but he would highly recommend me calling someone else. WHAT?
I shouldn't have to pay someone else again to come fix what they were already paid to fix. I ended up calling someone else because it's 92 degrees already before noon.
Come to find out filthy filter blocking air & found Buckner's over charged unit when it was installed which could cause unit to freeze up. Will never used Buckner's again or wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Was desperate to have HVAC serviced when it began making noise in early summer. And of course, it totally failed before appointment was fulfilled. However when Gary arrived he quickly diagnosed the issues, verified the parts were available locally, collected them and had the system operational by the afternoon. The only description I can offer is - WOW!
We will be purchasing and whole new system by autumn. Thank You so much.

I have used Buckner Heating and Cooling for the 6 years that I have lived in my home. They installed the unit and I had them come out during the first year, and just continued with them. They came out in 2013 and 2014 to check it. The first visit was an expensive one, and they did help me with the warranty. I appreciated that very much. Caleb is an excellent technician. He explained everything he did and was always very nice. I am an older single lady and not real savvy when it comes to anything mechanical. I always appreciated his patience.
Now for the service manager, Mike, that is a different story. He is very abrupt, and wasn't very patient with me from the git go. I know I was not quite understanding the thermostat, and he wasn't exactly the nicest. He is abrupt and rude. I don't know why I continued with them....but I did.
2014 I did call them out as the heat pump was running a lot and my bill was high. They came out and checked everything, and I paid them.
I called yesterday, 8/15/2017 to have them come out for a maintenance check, as my bills were high again, and the thing was running constantly. They DECLINED me service!!! When I asked to speak to Roger the owner, Mike got on the phone and was extremely rude. He said I called in 2014 with the same problem, and he thought I should get someone else to service it?????
What I want to know is why? I have found another company and I know the people....they are a wonderful family, so I will be taken care of.
I guess what I am saying is, BEWARE.....if you complain .....even if it is every 3 years, they remember and won't help you.
I still would like to talk to the owner....just to know why?

We priced out three different companies to replace our a/c unit. This was the third, and I was sold on not using them, but the owner I spoke with was so kind and knowledgeable (even after I told him I was only getting a price quote and had plans to use another company), I changed my plans. They were so great to work with, super knowledgeable, and I would use them again in a heartbeat.
