BSJ Plumbing was chosen by Sears to install my water softener. Sears is who I bought the softener from. Recently when my garage roof started to cave in I realized the cheap rubber drain line was leaking. After much research I learned that BSJ did not install the drain line (or use the proper drain line for the job) properly including jamming the drain hose directly into my washing machine drain line with no air gap. The installation didn't even come close to Sears' installation guide and broke at least 2 state construction codes. BSJ responded to my calls by saying ""turn it over to your insurance company."" Great customer service......NOT! Sears has been just as useless.

Well, they might be good at installing toilets, but they STINK when it come to installing microwave ovens!
I purchased a new GE microwave from Lowe's and decided to let them install it for an extra $109. First off, BSJ never came out or called on the day it was to be installed. OK, not a real big deal, I can go a few extra days without a microwave. But talk about a half assed installation. For one thing, no spacer blocks were used between the top of the microwave and the bottom of the cabinet. It says right in the installation manual that damage to the case may occur if you don't use them. The case sure looks warped and buckled to me. And when I looked up on top to see what kind of a job he did hooking up the vent, I almost sh**. The damper, which is suppose to attach to the top of the blower plate was just duct taped to the bottom of the transition adaptor and just sitting half on/ half off the blower exhaust opening. Basically the unit was venting into the cabinet on top.
Well, I guess I could have called them back and raised hell, but what's the point. If they can't get something simple like this right the first time, I don't want 'um back.
I guess if want something done right, you have to DO IT YOURSELF, or DON'T USE LOWE'S/ BSJ.
