I used B's plumbing through Rheem hot water heater warranty repair. The plumbing technician came to my house to make the repair. His attitude was very surly with my wife, asking her to get him a towel that he can use to soak up water and a bucket to catch water. My first question is, do you always make it a habit to get the customer involved in getting you supplies you need to do your job? The plumber made the repair, complaining about the previous install. After he was done, he said that she would smell gas for a while after the repair was completed. Later that day, my wife contacted him via text and said she was still smelling gas. The plumbers comment to her ""Please call the office to schedule a return visit, turn gas valve"". What???? Call to schedule a return visit? There is an active gas leak in my home and my family is in the house, call to schedule a visit? ARE YOU SERIOUS?!? He should have come back to the house immediately to fix the leak! I can't tell you how furious I am with this plumber (and company) who left my family in an extremely dangerous position knowing there was an active gas leak in the house that he caused when making the repair. If you are considering hiring this company, please reconsider! They are horrible. Their attitude stinks, their work ethic stinks and their plumbing skills outright suck! The plumber should have checked the fittings to make sure there was no leaks before he left. At the very least, when he received the text from my wife regarding the gas leak he should have returned immediately. LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR SOMEONE WHO TAKES PRIDE IN THEIR WORK AND TAKES CARE OF THE CUSTOMER.

Loved that Frank showed up on time and in a mask! Everything was touchless including the payment. I was only upset that it took a week for them to come out and fix the leak under my sink. My technician Frank, did an excellent job and left the area very clean and neat.

Used this company via First American Home Warranty...a complete rip off. If I was able to give it no stars I would.

B's Plumbing came to my home in D.C. twice. They were contracted to fix hot water heater; garbage disposal; and drain issue in shower. On first visit I was giving a window of 2:00pm to 5:00pm; the plumber didn't arrive until 5:40pm LATE! (Which is a total inconvenience to began with). He was able to fix the hot water heater because it was a simple temperature adjustment; however once he got to the garbage disposal and shower he just poured some black liquid down the drain, which I was not happy about.

He told me to wait 24 hours before using, which is what we did. Once I used the shower where he poured the liquid, I noticed that it caused a leak in my ceiling in my downstairs bathroom. Also, due to whatever liquid he poured down my garbage disposal that too started leaking and now has a slow drain.

I called First American Home Warranty the explain what their contractor did and as a result nothing was really fix (except water heater). FAHW had B's Plumbing come back to my house for a second time. Much worst than the first visit..his tone in how he talked to me was very condescending and he fixed nothing! He cut a hole in my ceiling located the leak that he caused in the first place but did not fix it..and left my kitchen sink with a slow drain and standing water. He quoted me a price of $600 to $800 dollars to fix what he caused in the beginning.

Our toilet downstairs began to leak. We figured we would try to find a plumber. Then the next day, the toilet upstairs began to leak. I was referred to B's plumbing and the service was outstanding. Both our toilets are running properly. I am happy I listened to word of mouth recommendations.

Had our main wall mounted on-demand hot water heater stop working one week after the NOVIB outbreak. I waited for a few weeks before calling anyone to fix it as I had a 6 gal backup. I called Bs and was very pleased with the service. ""Frank"" analyzed the problem and gave me the option of buying new or repairing. I chose repair. He ordered the part and had it shipped here in 2 business days. He returned the next day after I got the part and installed it. Very polite, professional and efficient. works like new!! There'll be a long hot shower tonight.

Pros: Home Warranty Company sent B's Plumbing to fix a simple leak under the kitchen sink. The plumber promptly fixed the leak and explained the issue.

Cons: B's Plumbing demanded parking for jobs in Washington DC, which is unfathomable for many clients who live in the city. The plumber also stuck logo stickers on the disposal and water heater without asking.

Do NOT under any circumstances use this company. Went against work orders from the hot water heater manufacturer and ended up charging me $$$ to fix something they shouldn't have touched. And of course, it's not fixed. Shame on them for taking advantage of a home owner like this.
