From the first time I called until the last time I spoke with both Emily and John - nothing but excellent customer service.

I needed to drive up to Crestline to get the plumbing and sewer lines inspected, and got stuck in a traffic jam on the freeway. I was clearly going to miss the appointment, yet when I called less than 30 minutes before I was to meet John there, Emily was more than gracious and moved my appointment up. Then later, when I called again, she had no issues rescheduling it, and did so with a great attitude. No huffing. No puffing.

When I actually did meet with John for inspections, he was super professional and honest. He quoted me very fair prices on a handful of small projects. Not for a second did I feel like a bother to him.

We had a little leaking toilet surprise when we walked into the property. John identified the issue and worked with realtors to get it all fixed. No second trip needed.

This is one of those companies you want to tell everyone about. I already shared his name with two general contractors and four neighbours.

EXCELLENT service. Called on Friday afternoon and got a two hour window for the next day, Saturday, which I needed due to working full time down the hill. I got a call to say the tech was on his way. Josh arrived and was very polite and professional! I had a difficult shower head and extension pipe replacement due to threads being corroded....Josh had to get in to the dry wall and did a neat job of it. To top it off, the price was very reasonable!! What more could you ask for? Will use Breuning R&R next time!

I was stuck in a bind on a Friday, late afternoon in a rented house with no water. I couldn't figure out what the problem was. I called a couple of plumbers around and they were a) not available, or b) not answering. But Bruening R&R Plumbing answered the phone, responded to my inquiry, set up a time (within 1 hour) and delivered their service on a Friday evening. I really appreciate these guys for saving my little vacation in Lake Arrowhead. Thanks, John. They are professional and prompt.

What a lifesaver. I couldn't reach my regular plumber and Hillman's said they weren't available. I called Bruening on a Friday and John said he would be at the house in Blue Jay between 2-4pm and call before arriving. He cleared the drain in the kitchen and replaced the p-trap, unclogged the shower and changed the bathroom faucets. Everything went smoothly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him or use him again!

I can't say enough good things about John Bruening and his plumbing business. My wife and I own a cabin in the Lake Arrowhead are and needless to say, the quality of contractors and tradesmen we have found there varies considerably. After having him do two fairly labor-intensive jobs for us involving repairs to older pipes, I can safely say that we will be using him for all our future needs. He answers his phone or returns calls promptly, shows up on-time, gives accurate and informed estimates, and then gets the job done for exactly what he'd estimated it to cost. I think he is hands-down the best plumber in the area and I'd highly recommend him for any plumbing work you may have.

I called a few plumbers to get estimates on replacing my 40 gallon water heater and all the plumbers gave me an estimate on the phone. However, John, with Bruening R&R Plumbing, said he preferred to come out and look at the job before he gave me an estimate. He gave me a two hour window for being at my house so I asked that he call 30 minutes before he arrived. He called ahead of time as he promised and arrived during the two hour window he provided.

John gave me the estimate on the 50 gallon heater and when I asked for additional estimates on a 40 gallon and tankless water heaters he did not become irritated or make estimates off the top of his head. John made some phone calls to get the price and availability on the 40 gallon heater. He also took the time to explain to me the alterations that would be needed to add a tankless heater. I chose the 40 gallon and he immediately got on the phone to order the water heater.

He arrived, on time, to install the water heater and after he completed the installation he explained everything he had done. This included new tank earthquake straps, the last plumber had left the old tank with only one strap instead of the required two. Two new inlet pipes and he had repaired the vent which had not been taped correctly and was lose, allowing some of the burned gas to leak into the garage. I expected an increase over the estimate due to this additional work but was pleasantly surprised when the price was exactly what he quoted me.

John provided piece of mind for several reasons, he wanted to see what needed done instead of giving an estimate that may have been low do to installation problems. I live in Lake Arrowhead and in this area hot water heaters can be located anywhere from the garage, to a hard to reach buildup area. While at the house, providing the estimate, John called to check the price and availability of the water heater I wanted. John addressed other problems he found and he thoroughly explained the new heater and how it functioned.

I have several more plumbing jobs to do and will be calling John for anything I need.

I just bought a house about 6 months ago here in Crestline. It's fixer upper to say at lease. The house was built in 1930 so the plumbing is pretty old. I had some guest over and they clogged the toilet. I tried to unclog it my self since I am pretty handy. I tried a six foot auger and a old snake I had in the shed. I failed so when all else fails call a professional. I am new to the area so I yelped a plumber. There where plenty of plumbers. I read a lot of the different reviews and I came across Bruening r&r plumbing all the reviews where happy customers. So I have them a call.
They answer right away and was willing to come out with in a couple of hours. But I was at work and schedule for the next morning. The plumber was name john. He was a very honest plumber who didn't try to b/s his way to a lot of money. He gave me a very reasonable price to remove the toilet and snake the drain. Now my water closet works fine I am very happy and would recommend you give this company a call if u have plumbing issues.

John was the only person who answered my desperate call for a plumber. John was very cordial, honest, extremely reliable and very professional. I have called several companies in the area; i.e., O'Brien, Acuna, Crestline Plumbing but none of these companies returned my call. NONE. Please, if you need any plumbing services, call Jacob and John. John explained to me everything on the phone before he did the work and I was able to comprehend and understand... he's very PATIENT. He even went the extra mile to call the water company to shut to water off to ensure that water will not freeze, etc. Moreover, the quote he gave was very reasonable!

YOU DON'T HAVE TO CALL THESE BIG COMPANIES.. JUST CALL JOHN OF BRUENING R AND R PLUMBING AND YOU WILL BE HAPPY. I AM!
