Our entire lower backyard was flooded after a visit from a tech. We left a voicemail thinking, ""Hm. It's very strange that our pump is now gushing water immediately after a technician just came out.. and now they are not responding to our voicemails or calls."" When we finally got a hold of them, we were told that this issue is ""not their problem now"", and basically were disrespected verbally over the entire duration of the phone call. We were offered no solutions, and funny enough, he actually brought up payment before addressing the entire issue of water gushing out of our pool pump.

The entire ordeal was incredibly stressful, how we were spoken to after calling and addressing the issue was completely unacceptable. I've documented everything, including a video of the water leaking (if leaking is the proper word for something that resembled a water hose spewing non-stop) as well as assess any damage to our property that might occur because of this. We are also leaving reviews with the BBB.

I also would like to add, the comments made above were directly from the OWNER. Support local business, just NOT this one.

Avoid this company like the plague.

Hired browns to come out to replace my pool pump. Anthony the service tech was great and had no issues initially. Within a day and a half the pump stopped working altogether. I checked the outlet & breaker and reset everything to no avail. I called Browns immediately and was sent to voicemail. I left a voicemail and didn't hear back for WEEKS. I finally called them back first thing yesterday morning and kindly asked if they got my voicemail and asked if there was a reset button on the pump or something I may not have been told which caused the pump to shut off. He said he'd get me more info when Anthony gets back in. An hour later they're at my front door (Unannounced and I never once asked them to come to my home for another service) and they say they're here to fix it. They claim my outlet had tripped which caused it which seemed odd considering I had checked it myself multiple times and it was fine. Two hours later I go to leave for work & let the dogs out back and see my pool gushing water out from the pump where the hose was now disconnected from the sand filter causing my backyard to flood with thousands of gallons of water. My pool is 14,800 gallons and I've lost over two feet of water. I quickly run under the deck which you can see is saturated with water and shut off the valve and manage to stop the filter from gushing water. I immediately call Browns multiple times (it's 5:30pm) with no answer. I leave a voicemail detailing the issue that resulted after their visit earlier and mention that I don't expect to be charged for their visit earlier which lasted less than 15 minutes which I never asked for in the first place. I get a call today (Saturday Jan 14th 2023) from Jeff and he immediately asked why I don't expect to pay and completely ignored the main point of the voicemail which was my backyard had FLOODED due to their incompetence. When I explain that I don't expect to pay due to having never asked for them to come in the first place and that I had told them on the phone I simply wanted Information Jeff says ""good luck with that"" and hangs up on me. I call him back and ask why he ignored the part where he flooded my backyard and JEFF says ""I don't see how that's our problem"" and hangs up again. The initial service was over $1,000 and this is what we're left with. A flooded backyard, a pump that has a faulty connection, and DEPLORABLE customer service that refuses to even talk like an adult. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS. They are shady and will do everything they can to scam you out of your money and blame you for their shortcomings. I hope Anthony can find a better company to work for and wish him all the best. AVOID BROWNS AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

Terrible. Charged too much to begin with and caused damage due to negligence. Argued repeatedly when called out on damage caused. Had to hire someone else to fix which ended up costing thousands. Same experience with attitudes as other negative reviewers. Not good.

Worst customer service ever.... I had a dripping faucet and they came out twice to fix it and it is still dripping. Will never use again! and will tell everyone I know to NOT use them.

I want to thank Cameroon and his team for help they have given my sister over the past months. They did a great job installing a water heater for her, when she was in dire need of one, for a great price. Then recently she called them about fixing her garbage disposal and they were nice enough to give her a tip to possibly fix it first herself, because she couldn't quite afford for them to come out. Fair and honest business! Go to them with any plumbing, pool or spa needs.

They were suppose to arrive 6/8 around noon. They arrived at 445pm on 6/9 . They've been to my property once and never complained or mentioned the condition of the pump house. Plumber who arrived opened the pump house, shut the door and stated he needed a different filter, never returned. Once I called again they stated the condition was rat infested (which I found none) and they wouldn't return untill it was cleaned out. Now I've got no water pressure and attempted to call and schedule a emergency service , was informed I'd have to wait till Monday ? They were able to reply to my google review this afternoon and attempted to slander me back . Most unprofessional service possible .

This is regarding customer service not the work done by employees. The employees accidentally flipped the switch to my gas heating system while working on gas water tank. I called office twice as didn't get a call back. I called again he wanted me to have PSE come out and check because ""it wasn't my guys"" 4 calls later they came out and indeed it was their employees.

Have had two great experiences with Brown's. Technicians have both been courteous, friendly and personable. Communication has been great and price reasonable. Very thankful. Extremely competent workmanship.

I had searched reviews since I felt completely taken by Browns and discovered a review that was word for word what my experience was. Called because I needed a pipe repaired that had been cut and duct taped by my ex. I was told it would be $185/hr and someone would be here between 10-12. I called at 1:30 since no show- guy showed up at 2:30 only to tell me he could not do a repair since the pipe was cut. I was surprised since that was the reason he was out- to make the repair to the cut pipe. Told me it was 3-4 hour job. he'd go back to the office and turn in my information and I would get a call to the cost. Several calls later so I could get the cost estimate- was told it would be $1800 + tax, and would need a new toilet as well so add another $219 + tax. When asked why so high, well, it would take 2 guys- one to hold the pipe but to be nice I would only be charged 1/2 price for the 2nd guy. So, $2K for a repair that actually took one hour, one person, $350.00, and no need for a new toilet by going with someone else. I will NEVER call Browns or recommend their dishonest way of doing business. Absolute disgrace and disappointment - so much for trying to support this local business.
