While trying to find my sewer line outside cracked open my outdoor water line. I called and asked when they were coming to repair it. They told me the pipe was old cheap stuff and I should replace it all anyway. Not to mention they guy that came back the second time when I found the pipe was drinking a beer and then left drinking the same beer. Wouldnt have them near the place again.
TERRIBLE customer service. My in laws are in their 70s and only asked for help because they don't know anything about their pool because their oldest son usually helps them but he is very sick right now. So when the guy got to their home, he was there for maybe 5 minutes and gave them a box of chemicals and did not explain to them how to use any of them. When they asked how to use them since they don't know anything about pools, the man said to them ""Read the labels!"" Then left them with an almost $400 bill. They went in to talk to the owner who was equally rude. The owner told them ""if they are there for 5 minutes or an hour, it doesn't matter, you are getting charged for the service fee."" Ok but problem is, no one helped them and just handed them a box of chemical and told them to read the labels, so how exactly was that any help?! The owner also asked them ""what, you don't know how to read the labels?"" Incredibly rude and to treat elderly people that way when they just need some help is sickening. I do not reccomend this company to anyone!!
Elizabeth H.They are a little pricey. But they have always been so helpful when it comes to pool care, and very nice every time I have came in.
We have been doing business with Brown's plumbing since 1988... For our swimming pool and hot tub and equipment. When ever we had a problem Brown's plumbing took care of all our issues. In 1999 we remodel and added 2 bathrooms and Brown's plumbing came in an did an excellent job, and it was a big job. We are 100% satisfied with Brown's PLUMBING and there customer service. Today I need a plumber and Brown's plumbing is the first person I will call , if they cannot fix it then nobody can... Doug & Debbie Baker
Dominic F.I went to Brown's because I needed a new filter and chemicals to get my hot tub set up for the first time. They are very knowledgeable and friendly. I learned everything I needed to know to get up my hot tub and running and they had my exact filter (specialty item) in stock. Highly recommend, and my go to place from now on.
They will charge you $170.00 for a service call. Which does not include any work. It will not count towards the job.
No matter if they are there 5 minutes or 59 minutes.
Other plumbers will also charge a service call but a LOT less. And it will go towards the job.
After all that the owner called me personally to harass me!
Hire some one else!!!
Ashley O.I went to browns plumbing to get a chemical for my hot tub. I bough the other store in the area out and didn't want to order online. The older gentleman was very friendly and helpful. I called a head to make sure the chemical I needed was at their store and he had it waiting for me at the front desk. When I walked in the store I was greeted right away and was directed to the item I was purchasing. Thanks for making my shopping experience quick and easy! I appreciate it!
I chose Brown's because they are the closest plumber to my house and the three people that Home Depot recommended to install the replacement toilet I bought there were in neighboring towns or weren't actually plumbers. I stopped by Brown's to check them out and made an appointment to get it done as well as have them look at a couple of other small plumbing-related things. So glad I did. They came when they said they would, did all the work I asked AND took the old toilet away. Since it all only happened today, I'll reserve the last star for a little while to make sure everything keeps working but today I am grateful not to have to use a bucket to flush with. Thanks, Sam!
It wouldn't be fair not to publicly note that my property was left on my front porch. However, my decision not to use or recommend Brown's Plumbing stands. Several neighbors and friends in the community voluntarily offered THEIR opinion of the firm, that on the most part substantiated mine.
We had a large remodel of our house, Kitchen and Master bath. Our contractor choose Brown's Plumbing to do the work. They installed 2 toilets one of which leaked from the base. They installed 2 bath room drains which both leaked. They where called back to fix these problems which they did and after leaving 1 of the drains still leaked.
They where called back again to fix the drain and I was told they would not come back because it had to be a problem with the drain because they new what they where doing and it could not be there fault. Now 6 months later the kitchen drain fell apart and leaked all over my new kitchen cabinets. So now I will get a real plumber to come out and fix all there shoddy work. Please do not use Brown's Plumbing.
