What a joke. I got scheduled for an appointment and took a day off work for the appointment. The same day they messaged me and said """"We rescheduled you for Saturday midday."""" No apology, just rescheduled. So then I had to take half a day off of work on Saturday and guess what? THEY DID NOT SHOW UP AGAIN! NO CALL, NO MESSAGE, NOTHING. My neighborhood has used them previously so now I'm sharing with them all that we need to switch. Completely unreliable and even if they did show up you can't trust the work of people who are this unprofessional.

Horrible experience with these guys. They came didn't listen to me as to where the leak was in my plumbing, cut out big hole in my wall that was unnecessary instead of going in the crawl space which he refused to do and didn't fix my problem whatsoever because it wasn't in the wall. Now I paid $200 for them to come out and screw my wall up and not fix my plumbing problem and I have to pay to fix the wall and I lost $200 don't call these guys!!!!

Posting here from my google review so that I can make sure people searching for septic services through Yelp are JUST as aware of my horrendous experience. ---------------------- My original review: Rental companies and renters, avoid this company. We've had our toilet issue sent to Brownie's by our rental company. When I first called this morning, they refused to discuss anything with me because I am (not the home owner) but I managed to get out that supposedly the plumber had been out the day before. He had not, the rental company's maintenance person had been out. When I informed them that no one from their company had visited the home, and that my roommate had been home all day, they said they couldn't schedule anything with us regardless and that the repair would be completed 'sometime in the repair window of between the 1st and the 31st'... so a one month window for a toilet that's already been broken a month, that's already been diagnosed with a cracked bowl. They would not give me a date, they only said that they would give a call ahead, despite the fact that my roommate and I both work. On calling the rental companies repair man directly, he contacted his supervisor, who then had to contact the home owner on the other side of the country to supposedly 'give permission' to be able to talk to us about our own scheduling. When I called back in around 10:30 to Brownie's, I was instead told that the plumber had been out THAT MORNING and that he had only called my roommate, who had informed him we had no idea someone was coming and that we would need to reschedule. They need someone on site to be able to do repairs. Our rental company has permission to enter the home using the code on the door, but Brownie's requires someone on site. Understandable. I ask when we can reschedule... I am then informed that I cannot reschedule, that the work order has been closed and that the rental company has to resend in a work order. I ask them who was supposed to give us a call ahead, considering no one let us know someone was coming that morning. Was told that they weren't responsible and to talk to my rental company. Rental companies- Brownie's will intentionally make things more difficult for you and your customers to be able to resolve the issue, and will refuse to communicate scheduling. By this point, when I called the maintenance repair man crying, he gave up on Brownie's and is seeking the service of another company. Renters- I'm so sorry if you're stuck having to use this company. While I understand certain things like pricing can't be discussed with renters, Brownie's will drop the ball on communication, put the blame on your, then shove the problem back to your rental company so that you're forced to go back and forth in the most infuriating game of telephone to exist. If I could rate lower than one star, I would. ------- I don't have enough space to include his response and my edited response back- but unsurprisingly, they shifted the blame back onto the rental company despite the fact that the rental company tried to give them permission MULTIPLE times to talk to us, and despite the fact that the replacement septic company had NO issue communicating basic information like WHO WOULD BE AT THE PROPERTY with us. The salt in the wound was the absolutely condescending explanation of what a renter is, as though I wasn't already aware I didn't own the home. As someone who works IN the contracting field myself, so help me, I will make sure every person and business I know is aware to avoid Brownie's, until I am blue in the face. Perhaps the ONLY person who could benefit from them is a homeowner... but honestly? I wouldn't risk my plumbing to a company whose service was on par with the waste they pump out.

DON'T! JUST DON'T! They lie about what they are going to do, they cut wires to break things on purpose to charge you more money, and they fix nothing. Save your money and don't use this horrible horrible company!!!

Read my review on google, caused massive damage to my house and now claims no responsibility. Worst company I have ever done business with by a country mile. Then there manager Marc who had an IQ near room temp, accuses me of lying and claiming they did a great job. I'm not joking stay miles and miles away they are absolute scum bags the bottom of the barrel.

We hired brownies to do a large job at our condo complex. In the beginning they were very responsive, but faded as the job progressed. They cleaned one building, which later had a significant backup causing them to not work with us to finish up several items beyond the scope of the original contract. We had to supervise the storm drain cleaning very closely and the operator of the vacuum truck skipped several drains which they had to come back another day to finish up. He told me they had cleaned when obviously they had not. Very frustrating

Aware! This is a suck scam company. They alway ask for your credit card before any service, so they can charge whatever they want to. update: Your company try to lure customer by quote them different service price, then charge much more than whatever you tell them. Thats why you alway want to get credit number upfront. You know how the credit card system work, as long as you have the credit card info, you can charge any amount. I wish I should see the reviews before doing business with your company.

This is an update to my previous one star review. Brownie's did finally address the unauthorized charges added to the invoice after servicing my septic system. They also services the second septic tank which was missed on the first visit. I appreciate a business that fixes the issues when directions aren't followed the first time.

Very disappointing. I would give less than a 1 if I could. I had a possible leak coming from underneath house, which had been wetting rug. Due to using this company before I called. I got someone and they informed me that someone could come out on day I called (Wed). I waited and called for an update and they informed technician Frank would be calling around 1:30-2 to let me know when he was 30 min away. This all seemed reasonable. Well 3:30 came and I had not heard so I called and this time was informed no one was coming today because all jobs were pushed back. Disappointed, but OK to learn I would get a call by end of day to tell me when they could come which would be a few days. Well, disappointing again no one called. I received a call Thursday while I was working to say they could be there at 3 because of a cancellation. It was 2:30 when they called. Needless to say, no one was at the house since I was working and this is a house we have a renter in. I did get a spill from the technician (Frank) about how extremely busy they were. I didn't cancel, but implied I should probably get another company that was going to be able to have time to come out and assess the situation. Unfortunately, still disappointed in this company as No one from scheduling or customer service has called back to check or ask if I still wanted someone to come out. I would tell all to choose another company that could give you updates and not have you waiting around all day for nothing.

We were referred to them from a family member. Although we were not having septic issues we just wanted to be on the safe side of cleaning the septic tank. As our tank was last cleaned in 2013 it might have been due for some cleaning. We called Brownies and spoke with Eva who took our info and set up a appt for Thursday. We were greeted by Nate who was very punctual, friendly and informative. He is reliable will give you the best advice on your septic tank. I would definitely recommend Nate to anyone who has to get their tank cleaned. Our tank wasn't too bad off and now we have piece of mind on our tank. Definitely recommend Nate from Brownies!!!!!!!! I have read other reviews for this company and I am Telling you, they do a great job. They are affordable and convenient and reliable. I literally just used them for services.
