Subject: Concerns over excessive billing for Plumbing services (replacing a faucet) Cost of the Faucet was given to me over the phone. $193.00 Labor to install the faucet $556.99 total Rip Off DO NOT give your Credit crd over the phone. BEWARE. I am writing to address the charge I received for the plumbing work completed at my residence on 12 April 2023. There are no details in the invoice for the plumbing work completed at my residence. I have included the bill in this letter/fax. During our initial phone conversation, I was provided with an estimated maximum cost of $750 for the service and the plumber asked me for my credit card number which I gave to him. While the invoice does not exceed the agreed maximum cost, it still appears higher than what I believe the actual cost should have been based on the work performed. Furthermore, the invoice lacks itemization, making it difficult to understand the breakdown of charges for labor, materials, and any other associated costs. I followed up with the plumber by phone conversation, during which I requested an itemized invoice for the plumbing work completed. The invoice I received after our conversation is still not itemized to my satisfaction. In fact, there is a discrepancy between the total amount on the second invoice I received for the plumbing work completed and the charge made to my credit card. The discrepancy is concerning. The technician was here twice. The first time to diagnose the problem, and the second time to fix the faucet. The technician was here not more than 90 minutes on the 2nd visit and 30 minutes maximum on the first visit. Total of 2 hours. I asked the technician for a work log to sign after the work was finished to help ensure transparency and accuracy in billing but none of this was produced. He said the office will send me this information later. I did receive the first bill which I am including in this dispute, and I received a different bill after I called the plumber disputing the charge. Upon reviewing the invoice and considering the scope of work performed, I believe the total amount charged to my credit card is excessive. I did agree to pay $193 for the replacement faucet but based on my understanding of the work done and the industry standards, the cost should have been considerably lower. I find the cost of $556.00 installing a faucet to be excessive and this is what I'm disputing. The most I'd pay is $300.00 for labor and the faucet for a total of $493.00.

Very prompt with their service. I had a issues with my water heater and they came out to check out the issue. Turned out I needed it replaced and they were able to do it right away. Even though this was an emergency they were fair with their price. Highly recommend them.

I am very angry that I wasn't given an estimate before the work was done and ended up paying $375.00 for about 5 minutes of service. The tech was very nice but did not fix the problem until the third time we had to call him out. I was also told that I was given an estimate before the service was done. This was not true. I definitely would have said a hard no! Beware of this service!

They overcharge me for unclogging my kitchen sink almost $500 and all they had to use was a snake and a plunger They did not have to go on the roof so the cost should've been much less

I described to them that I had a clogged toilet. I tried using a 25ft snake myself but it wouldn't clear it. They told me for $50 they would come to see what would fix this issue. No problem. First, their tech came late. Once he looked at it he used a longer snake and it was fixed. Probably spent about an hour at my house. I then get a phone call from their office saying i owed $425. WHAT!?!? I asked what their labor rate is, I was told they didn't go by labor rate they go by job. This was not an emergency service, just a normal appointment and no other parts were needed except the longer snake. I felt taken advantage of. Would not recommend and would not use again.

Our gas tankless water heater broke and we needed a replacement right away. Plus we needed a master plumber certified to work on gas lines. We called Broward plumbing and they sent someone out immediately to determine what was needed and find a replacement. They found the same unit and it was quoted the same price we would have paid for it at home depot. They installed it that night. Also the responsiveness and courtesy and professionalism were top notch. David in the office and John the plumber were amazing and we would call them again in a heartbeat if we had another problem.

Was charged over $420 for replacing a sink basket strainer. That's after a discount. They originally asked for close to $500. Definitely feel ripped off. They were super fast and the tech was respectful. Should've read reviews first.

Very Expensive. $1600. The plumber left the electrical cap off. I had to call another person to fix the cap with the wiring. I did call Broward Plumbing the office said they would come back and fix it, no one did after talking to two people. I would NOT recommend this company. Other water heater installers were $500 cheaper and easier to deal with.

they charged 850 for a camera inspection and then they charged another 150 the second time around for the same inspection a month later to provide 2 different opinions . they tried to pressure me into getting an expensive procedure whereas i did not need it. I called 2 plumbers after them they both quoted 300 and 350 for a camera inspection. They are expensive and do not know what they are doing

STAY AWAY. READ ALL THE REVIEWS. This guy is a con-man. I came incredibly close to being conned out of $2,500 for installation of a sink. He even gave me numerous quotes, charging me $1,000 extra if I pulled a permit, with a lame rationalization that he had to pay his employee the extra one grand for all her trips to the city. There were other tell-tale signs that this guy/company is not legit. He wanted me to pay him cash money, etc. etc. There are PLENTY of plumbing companies in Broward County. I repeat myself: STAY AWAY. Go somewhere else, and get numerous quotes for your plumbing needs. I came perilously close to falling into this guys trap. And I'm a pretty smart guy. I speak five languages and possess four earned college degrees. If he can almost con me (I actually went to the bank and had the $2,500 in cash ready to hand over to him), he can con you, too.
