Let me start off by saying this company does do the job they come to do. That being said, UNSUSPECTING CONSUMERS BEWARE!!! This company charges about 8 TIMES too much. My mother who is easily taken advantage of, was taken by these guys. Here is the work done and the charge so you may see how insane this is.

Installed 1 standard kitchen faucet (which my mother already purchased)
Provided and installed 2 toilet tank repair kits (Can be bought at any hardware store for $19.99 + tax)

Total charge... $815.. EIGHT HUNDRED AND FIFTEEN DOLLARS!!!

That's correct, and I didn't stutter. The owner actually told me it costs him $136 just to answer one phone call, and he says he's in out over $250 before the service tech even rings your doorbell.

If this is true sir, I suggest you get your cost under control, or at least admit that you are a despicable crook who prays on unknowing victims and cons them with their ""One price fits all"" system of trickery.

They got her, but don't let them take you for a ride. PLEASE call around before you accept any estimates from Brothers Plumbing.

Our next plan of action is to file a complaint with the BBB and we'll go from there.

To Brothers Plumbing, I hope you see this and understand that consumers will no longer tolerate companies who lie and mislead good, honest people, just to line their pockets. Keep telling your customers it costs over $250 just to show up, like anyone will believe you.

The experience we had with Brothers Plumbing and Air Conditioning was horrible. Our a/c went out and we called to have a technician come out and figure out what the problem was. They sent someone, he fixed ""something"", they charged us $468.73 and they left...our a/c went out with the same exact problem exactly 1 week later. They came back out, looked at our unit, turned it on (since we had it off for hours to cool it down and keep it from causing other issues) and said, ""Ok, seems good."" and left again. Twenty minutes later....guess what??? Same problem, we called someone else to come out and fix the problem and they said not only should the first service cost no more than $230 but they also did not fix the problem. Now, they won't refund any money even though they did not fix the problem and over charged us!

My usual plumber wasn't available for a backyard leaky faucet repair. Brothers initially confirmed, then needed to reschedule 2 days later due to emergency calls. That's fine. They finally send out their guy, he arrives, says he can only give me a quote, because he needs to be on a conference call in 90 minutes. He then gives me an 8-option quote, trying to upsell me into a ""plan"". The lowest price without a plan is nearly $400 for this repair. I call Lutz Plumbing, my usual guy, who happens to be in the area -- he completes the job in 20 minutes for $95. Buyer beware!

All they are interested in is their 29.95 dollars for giving you an outrageous estimate. Don't waste your time on them.

Really appreciate the same day service. George was amazing. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we need and everything was working after our AC unit went out. Great service.

My husband called Brothers to change a garbage disposal at one of our rental properties and asked for a quote on what it would cost. They told him they had to go out and look--they couldn't give a range. (What??? You can't give a RANGE that you would charge to replace a garbage disposal???) So they come out and tell us it will cost $540--a disposal is like $100. Anyway we called a couple other places that said they would be in the $200-300 range. Hmmm. He spoke to a manager that said he could take off like $30-40, but he should have gotten a range before they sent someone....Ummmm, he tried to, but they wouldn't give one!
So we took our $30 beating and hired someone else (for like $200) . (In all fairness, we did have one good experience and another overcharge that we sent away, so maybe it depends on the person you get?)
My recommendation is that if you are super desperate and have no where else to turn and have money to burn, go ahead and call Brothers. Otherwise, definitely shop around first!

Yikes. I am still in shock from the quote. We had a new garbage disposal that we had already purchased and wanted installed, and a leaky toilet to have fixed. Since our usual plumber was super busy and I needed my garbage disposal back before next week, I thought I would give them a try.

To be fair, they were very polite on the phone, very accommodating (although a little scripted - like having a conversation with a very polite robot). They gave me a call when he was on his way and the two gentleman that showed up were on time, professional looking, respectful, friendly, etc. HOWEVER....the quote I got from them to install my garbage disposal was three times what my usual plumber had quoted. And the toilet?? Holy cannoli! An additional $489 (for what my regular guy charged me $85 to fix). Seriously?

To keep it positive, they didn't pressure me or anything, so I just paid my $30 service fee and sent them away. I suppose it only takes a few suckers to make a living off of when you do business like that, but not this sucker. I won't be calling back.

I used Brothers plumbing a few years ago and recently had them come out again for a kitchen sink clog. Kevin the technician was here for 25 minutes and charged $328 for running a snake down a clean out located right next to the sink. In other words, it was a fairly simple job, so I couldn't believe I was charged $328. I called the company 3 times the next day to discuss the charge and finally got a call back from. MONT, one of the owners, I explained the situation to him. LISTEN TO THIS ONE!! He actually agreed with me, and ASKED ME WHAT I THOUGHT WOULD BE FAIR TO CHARGE!!! Have you ever, ever, ever heard of that before? Amazing! I had contacted two other plumbing companies and one told me it would be $100 to snake the drain and the other said it would be $130. I told Mont I thought $130 was fair and he agreed. THEY REFUNDED MY CHARGE CARD with the $198 difference!! Mont also said he would like to come out and do a COMPLIMENTARY ""jetting"" of the sink line (clean it by jetting water through the line), since my house is 30 years old and the snake probably didn't get everything. IMAGINE THAT!! It was a good thing he did too, because the sink started clogging up again two days after Kevin was there. Kevin came out again and did the jetting at no cost. Mont also gave me a two year warranty on the work, which is UNHEARD OF. Needless to say, I would highly recommend Brothers but make sure when dealing with them that you get the price BEFORE they begin the work, and TALK TO MANAGEMENT if you have a problem. THEY LISTEN.
