I really should have ready the reviews before I allowed this company to enter into my home. Called these people over to fix a running toilet and a drippy shower. The toilet just basically needed a new water pump inside of the tank and the shower handled was hard to turn and I was told the Cartledge need to be repaired. To get these two thing fixed, it was going to cost me $830.00 - WHY - well, let me explain. He was going to rebuild the toilet for $330.00 and $500.00 for the shower. They charge an $89 service fee for coming out and If you agree for them to do the work, they would wave that fee, if not than you are responsible to pay for them coming out. I refused the service because there was no need for him to rebuild a toilet when I could have bought one for cheaper. I have know Idea why the shower would cost $500.00, at this point the only thing I wanted to do was to pay the service charge and let this gentleman be on his way. When I was in the process of writing the check, he told me that I would be $95, he added tax, I told him I was never quoted the tax on the service call. The guy stepped outside and called his manager, I guess he explained the issue, the guy came back into the home and told me to just write the $89 without the tax. NEVER EVER AGAIN WILL I EVER CALL THESE PEOPLE AGAIN

Just a heads up to everyone. I definitely WOULD NOT recommend Brothers Heating and Air to anyone!!! We had, out of desperation, used them for a new dual HVAC system back in December of 2020. Last Summer we had an issue with our one A/C unit. They set an appointment, which they didn't show up that day. Showed up the next day. They told me it was low on Freon.....after not even 2 years? They added Freon and it seemed to be working fine. The same day there was another issue. Now, a little over a year later, there's a Nest thermostat issue, which they installed. Called them on Tuesday and they set an appointment for yesterday afternoon. Got a call yesterday afternoon saying they couldn't make it until today. After cancelling a personal appointment for this afternoon, I was called yet again to inform they couldn't make it today. """"Oh, but we'll be out tomorrow"""". They were very politely, but angrily, told that they would never be servicing anything at my house ever again. Please suffer with whatever issue you might have but don't ever use Brothers!!!! Sorry for my rant

What an amazing thing to find. Not just a reliable and customer-oriented company, but a wallet-friendly one as well. Especially a company that performs repairs on a scale such as these. Amazingly friendly people and the problem was diagnosed almost immediately. The work was finished fast and they left us feeling confident that the issue is resolved for good. I will refer them to anyone looking for a plumber and I am sure I'll call them for any of the other services they offer, should I need them. Seriously, a diamond in the rough these days. We have been customers for many years. We had our entire gas pack and ventilation system replaced around September of last year for a huge 16 grand; which comes with a great warranty; yet we still have to pay for a yearly service agreement. It seems like wasted money, even though the amount is small. I think it would be a great benefit if at least one year of the service agreement could be included in a purchase. If they consider it, maybe the next lower-lower middle class family can get it. I think I should've gotten more bids.

Maintenance Service Review: I will never recommend Brothers Service. I scheduled a visit for spring maintenance, and they never showed up. When I contacted them, they said that the technician had messaged me that he was unable to come. I have a land line, so no message was received. I scheduled a follow-up which went as scheduled. For my fall maintenance, I had an appointment scheduled, but after the scheduled time they called and asked to reschedule. I rescheduled for today, and when they did not show, I called again. Once again, they said they needed to reschedule. This is a total of 3 times I have waited at home for maintenance, with no shows. Never, ever again. Mary Hickman, Richburg, SC

Needed to replace HVAC; wanted to move to a 2 zone system. First estimator from large company that advertises a lot said we'd have to install 2 systems. Brother's consultant spent some time in the attic and said one system plus a $200.00 logic board and accessories would provide two zones! Installation was professional and quick. We are happy campers after 2 years with no problems.

My upstairs air conditioning unit shut down on Sat. 5/25. I called Brothers Sat. and they said they could be there before 6pm Sun. 5/26. He arrived at 5:10pm. finished work at 5:45 and sat in his truck for 10 minutes and wrote up the charges and I paid him at 6pm. They charged my credit card to Home Depot??? which he never said. I thought I was paying Brothers Heating and Air, but it was a Brothers employee with a Brothers truck. I still haven't gotten a receipt yet. He checked in the attic the pan was full, so he went and got a vacuum to drain the water out of the pan. He was in the attic for 30 minutes. He said he drained the pan cleared the drain line and turn the unit back on. He charged me $937 for 30 minutes of labor. Nothing repaired or replaced. Can you say """"RIP OFF"""" cause that's what it is. When it's 90 degrees you're not going to say don't fix it, but this is definitely price gouging!

I do NOT recommend this company. My granny had an issue w what she though was a leak upstairs. They made her a 71 year old woman climb a ladder and cut the hole in the ceiling. They tried telling her she needed her shower pan replaced. A $7000 repair! Thankfully her co-worker came and looked. Just the gasket needed to be replaced. I find it absolutely disgusting that a company would try to take such gross advantage of our elderly community.

I first used Brothers Air, Heat and Plumbing a couple of years ago when I had a minor issue with my AC unit. The young man who came out, Jaycob, was extremely professional, courteous and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions, took care of my issue that day and made a significant enough positive impression that when I started having more issues I called Brothers again. Another young man, Andrew, responded this time, and his professionalism, knowledge and courtesy only reenforced my perception of the company and it's employees. Long story short, after evaluating my unit's issues and answering my (many) questions we concluded my unit was (unfortunately) toast, and trying to repair it didn't make financial sense. A not totally unexpected development as it was over 15 years old. Another young man, Andy, came out to give me an estimate, and once again, answered all my questions, was very knowledgeable, and laid out several options for replacing my system. (At this point, I will interject that I had already explored more than one option and had a very realistic idea of what the project should cost.) I decided on a course of action, and Andy immediately verified that what I wanted was in stock, and reserved it. The installation technicians, Kyle and Reggie, showed up to do the install two days later. They were of the same excellent caliber as the other members of the Brothers team that I had met previously. They were friendly, professional, efficient, and quite frankly worked their butts off. They ensured that my house and my carpet were protected during the installation (it's a townhouse and they had to carry everything up 3 stories into the attic) and cleaned up everything when they were finished. Then Kyle walked around with me while I inspected their work. They did an outstanding job. My experience with Brothers for this purchase and installation was great. Their people are of the highest quality, and I can without any reluctance at all, highly recommend their services.
