So, I just had my entire attic unit replaced by Brothers in September. And I have not had a call back to ask if I have had any problems or not. Yes, the unit is under new product warranty, but I might have thought, since I will be due for another complete unit replacement in several months, they may have wanted to make me as comfortable as possible with its operation, and maximize efforts to make customers pleased that they did business with you. If I use Brothers in the future for a new unit I will be sure to ask if after installation that is the last time I will see them, or if I will have to pay $70 to have them come and sweep dust off of it

The absolute worst! Sent a technition out for a yearly maintence cleaning and he did something to the compressor causing a smell of burnt plastic coming out of the vents Complete system failure in less than a week.

I really should have ready the reviews before I allowed this company to enter into my home. Called these people over to fix a running toilet and a drippy shower. The toilet just basically needed a new water pump inside of the tank and the shower handled was hard to turn and I was told the Cartledge need to be repaired. To get these two thing fixed, it was going to cost me $830.00 - WHY - well, let me explain. He was going to rebuild the toilet for $330.00 and $500.00 for the shower. They charge an $89 service fee for coming out and If you agree for them to do the work, they would wave that fee, if not than you are responsible to pay for them coming out. I refused the service because there was no need for him to rebuild a toilet when I could have bought one for cheaper. I have know Idea why the shower would cost $500.00, at this point the only thing I wanted to do was to pay the service charge and let this gentleman be on his way. When I was in the process of writing the check, he told me that I would be $95, he added tax, I told him I was never quoted the tax on the service call. The guy stepped outside and called his manager, I guess he explained the issue, the guy came back into the home and told me to just write the $89 without the tax. NEVER EVER AGAIN WILL I EVER CALL THESE PEOPLE AGAIN

Replaced gas pack. Very helpful and best price I could find. Installed in one day. Very professional installer and made sure I was satisfied with everything before they left. Cleaned up area well. Couldn't tell they were even here except for new gas pack.

Needed to replace HVAC; wanted to move to a 2 zone system. First estimator from large company that advertises a lot said we'd have to install 2 systems. Brother's consultant spent some time in the attic and said one system plus a $200.00 logic board and accessories would provide two zones! Installation was professional and quick. We are happy campers after 2 years with no problems.

Maintenance Service Review: I will never recommend Brothers Service. I scheduled a visit for spring maintenance, and they never showed up. When I contacted them, they said that the technician had messaged me that he was unable to come. I have a land line, so no message was received. I scheduled a follow-up which went as scheduled. For my fall maintenance, I had an appointment scheduled, but after the scheduled time they called and asked to reschedule. I rescheduled for today, and when they did not show, I called again. Once again, they said they needed to reschedule. This is a total of 3 times I have waited at home for maintenance, with no shows. Never, ever again. Mary Hickman, Richburg, SC

Needed to replace my Gas Pack. Got bids and Brothers was one of them. Salesman Anthony Christy was professional and straight forward. Proposal was 4K less than other proposals. Was basically the same unit I had installed 20 years ago. Unit was installed two days later in about 7 hrs. Installers were hard working and took care of my property. They cleaned up and left no clutter. They would not leave until I was totally satisfied. I was very pleased with the work they performed.

beware! I'm Robin and have been a customer of Bros. Htg and Air for several years. I had my spring maintenance on my Htg & AC on 3/13/24. I was told by technician C.H., that my capacitor was broken and I needed a new one. I agreed and paid for a new capacitor that day....OR SO I THOUGHT! The last week of May, 2024 my AC broke. I had to call my home warranty co. and use who they sent out as I didn't know what could be wrong. The new technician from another company told me my capacitor was broken. I told him I just had it replaced less than 2 months earlier. He showed me the new one compared to my broken one. The new one was shiny, no scratches or dents, and no wear/tear. Unlike the one Bros Htg & Air had installed. He said in March, they either replaced it with a used one or didn't replace it at all and yet charged me a new part price. I ended up paying for another capacitor. I was devastated because I trusted Bros Htg & Air. I contacted Bob King, mgr of Quality & Service on 5/31/24. He requested I send email regarding the situation and pics of the old broken one that they had supposedly installed. It's 8/10/24, and I have yet to hear back from him nor has he returned any of my phone calls. OBVIOUSLY, THEY DON'T CARE HOW THEIR LOYAL CUSTOMERS ARE BEING TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF, NOR DO THEY CARE ABOUT THE QUALITY, SERVICE, OR WHO WORKS FOR THEM. DO THEY TRAIN THEY EMPLOYEES TO DO THIS?? There are better companies out there who care about the service they offer and taking good care of their customers. PLEASE DON'T TRUST BROS HTG & AIR FOR YOUR HTG AND AC NEEDS, OR YOU COULD BE NEXT!! Don't be taken advantage of like I was.

Visited Home Depot to get a referral for HVAC work. They sent out a sales person from Brother Heating and Cooling. The guy was trying to sell us a ridiculously priced $10,000 unit payable over 15 years. By the end of the loan term we would have paid back about $26,000 - $27,000. We declined the deal because we didn't want to get ripped off! But during this """"sales call"""", the sales person examined our AC unit. Not sure why a salesman would need to examine the units in such detail. He was out there two separate times """"looking"""" at the unit. We left him alone to do his work and he left our house shortly after that when he couldn't make the sale. Well we think he sabotaged the unit. A couple of weeks later, we had this unexpected leak from that same unit that damaged the floor below. My husband found a loose connection in the back of the unit that was allowing the water to escape. He also saw scratch marks on that part probably where someone loosened it with a wrench. We don't have evidence that he loosened it because we didn't see him. But how else did it become loose? I would never ever allow them into my house again!! Very sketchy!!

My upstairs air conditioning unit shut down on Sat. 5/25. I called Brothers Sat. and they said they could be there before 6pm Sun. 5/26. He arrived at 5:10pm. finished work at 5:45 and sat in his truck for 10 minutes and wrote up the charges and I paid him at 6pm. They charged my credit card to Home Depot??? which he never said. I thought I was paying Brothers Heating and Air, but it was a Brothers employee with a Brothers truck. I still haven't gotten a receipt yet. He checked in the attic the pan was full, so he went and got a vacuum to drain the water out of the pan. He was in the attic for 30 minutes. He said he drained the pan cleared the drain line and turn the unit back on. He charged me $937 for 30 minutes of labor. Nothing repaired or replaced. Can you say """"RIP OFF"""" cause that's what it is. When it's 90 degrees you're not going to say don't fix it, but this is definitely price gouging!
