Visited Home Depot to get a referral for HVAC work. They sent out a sales person from Brother Heating and Cooling. The guy was trying to sell us a ridiculously priced $10,000 unit payable over 15 years. By the end of the loan term we would have paid back about $26,000 - $27,000. We declined the deal because we didn't want to get ripped off! But during this """"sales call"""", the sales person examined our AC unit. Not sure why a salesman would need to examine the units in such detail. He was out there two separate times """"looking"""" at the unit. We left him alone to do his work and he left our house shortly after that when he couldn't make the sale. Well we think he sabotaged the unit. A couple of weeks later, we had this unexpected leak from that same unit that damaged the floor below. My husband found a loose connection in the back of the unit that was allowing the water to escape. He also saw scratch marks on that part probably where someone loosened it with a wrench. We don't have evidence that he loosened it because we didn't see him. But how else did it become loose? I would never ever allow them into my house again!! Very sketchy!!

My upstairs air conditioning unit shut down on Sat. 5/25. I called Brothers Sat. and they said they could be there before 6pm Sun. 5/26. He arrived at 5:10pm. finished work at 5:45 and sat in his truck for 10 minutes and wrote up the charges and I paid him at 6pm. They charged my credit card to Home Depot??? which he never said. I thought I was paying Brothers Heating and Air, but it was a Brothers employee with a Brothers truck. I still haven't gotten a receipt yet. He checked in the attic the pan was full, so he went and got a vacuum to drain the water out of the pan. He was in the attic for 30 minutes. He said he drained the pan cleared the drain line and turn the unit back on. He charged me $937 for 30 minutes of labor. Nothing repaired or replaced. Can you say """"RIP OFF"""" cause that's what it is. When it's 90 degrees you're not going to say don't fix it, but this is definitely price gouging!

On April 13th, I spoke with Brothers to get an appointment for A/C Tune-Up/Annual Inspection. We scheduled for April 14th (between 12-4). On April 14th, at 3:09, Brothers texted to say they needed to reschedule. I called to reschedule and the earliest appointment they had was April 25th, between 12-4. On April 25th, at 2:24, Brothers texted to say, """"on our schedule and as soon as our technician is available, we will call."""" I confirmed and called the office to see when I could expect the technician and was told they would be here by 4 p.m. At 3:45 p.m., Brothers called and said they would not be here by 4 p.m. I indicated that would not work, as my schedule would not allow later, and asked to be rescheduled. The earliest they could reschedule was May 13th. That was one month after my original appointment. I declined, as I no longer trust Brothers to show up. Both times I spoke with Brothers, their employees were condescending and passive aggressive - making it appear the delays and reschedules were nothing at all. I work full time and set aside a total of 8 hours during multiple work days to be available for A/C inspection, only to have Brothers not show up either time. Lesson learned - I will never schedule any services with Brothers - they are not dependable and their employees have terrible customer service skills.

Changed my old water tank to a tankless water heater. priced out different companies and they gave us a competitive rate. they arrived on time for installation, had an inspector come out before the project was done to make sure they were up to code and left in a timely matter. that night there was a drop every 5secs coming from one of the new shut off valves. we were upset that they weren't able to come that evening. however they did follow up first thing the next day and addressed all the problems and concerns we had. we have a scheduled inspection with the county all handled by their company. we all make mistakes and was glad they fixed it in a timely fashion. only one additional incident happened that i don't care to mention right now that's left me a little uneasy, however we addressed it with the managers and i'm confident they got to the bottom of it on their end. over all i'd rate them 4 out of 5 for changing out a 50 gal tank to a 11pm tankless water heater.

Scheduled appointment to fix plugged drain. Was given a 4hr window, 12-4pm. Took afternoon off to be at home. 4:45, after no show, no call I cancelled. If you are going to charge prices higher than almost any other plumber, invest in customer service.

I do NOT recommend this company. My granny had an issue w what she though was a leak upstairs. They made her a 71 year old woman climb a ladder and cut the hole in the ceiling. They tried telling her she needed her shower pan replaced. A $7000 repair! Thankfully her co-worker came and looked. Just the gasket needed to be replaced. I find it absolutely disgusting that a company would try to take such gross advantage of our elderly community.

Just a heads up to everyone. I definitely WOULD NOT recommend Brothers Heating and Air to anyone!!! We had, out of desperation, used them for a new dual HVAC system back in December of 2020. Last Summer we had an issue with our one A/C unit. They set an appointment, which they didn't show up that day. Showed up the next day. They told me it was low on Freon.....after not even 2 years? They added Freon and it seemed to be working fine. The same day there was another issue. Now, a little over a year later, there's a Nest thermostat issue, which they installed. Called them on Tuesday and they set an appointment for yesterday afternoon. Got a call yesterday afternoon saying they couldn't make it until today. After cancelling a personal appointment for this afternoon, I was called yet again to inform they couldn't make it today. """"Oh, but we'll be out tomorrow"""". They were very politely, but angrily, told that they would never be servicing anything at my house ever again. Please suffer with whatever issue you might have but don't ever use Brothers!!!! Sorry for my rant

What an amazing thing to find. Not just a reliable and customer-oriented company, but a wallet-friendly one as well. Especially a company that performs repairs on a scale such as these. Amazingly friendly people and the problem was diagnosed almost immediately. The work was finished fast and they left us feeling confident that the issue is resolved for good. I will refer them to anyone looking for a plumber and I am sure I'll call them for any of the other services they offer, should I need them. Seriously, a diamond in the rough these days. Thank you so much, Jeremy and crew (and David, our original technician who came out). We are so very happy with the work you did!

I called them because of the 59$ special. I used Airtron for 16 years and never had a problem. Until they changed the essential service. I don't like or appreciate Brothers scare tactics and the push to get a new system. Granted mine is 16 years old. But i keep up maintenance. I do understand that i will have to replace it eventually. I don't need the up-sale and """"oh you're gonna feel it this summer. """"Blah blah blah. """"I can get someone to come out today to give to pricing. """"Which makes me not trust that you will do what your supposed to do. To keep my system running. And if-do replace system who said I'm calling your company. It pisses me off.

Unfortunately they are not a full service plumbing company. Contacted them to replace a simple gas water heater that had gone out. Very responsive on phone with good office customer service. They were able to schedule my appointment within 3-4 days and despite missing the appointment window by a few hours (understandable, as I realize that they are very busy) they arrived. The technician was polite and professional. He snapped a few photos of the water heater and said he was going to his truck to call his manager. After about 10 minutes he returned and said they were unable to replace the water heater. When I asked why, he said they didn't have the capability to replace it. He apologized and said they didn't have the correct permits or expertise. At this point I had been without hot water for a week. I ended up calling one of their competitors, and had a new water heater installation within the week. I told the installers my experience with Brothers and they were equally as confused about as to why they did not want to replace the water heater. It was a simple residential installation. I wish I hadn't wasted my time with Brothers. Cold showers are not fun. Maybe this review will help other people looking to have a water heater replaced.
