The worst service ever Please know that I'm speaking the truth when I say their service and customer service is the worst. This company has came to me through a home warranty that I purchased and it's been 6 months and my plumbing issue has not been resolved. Customer service gives you the run around saying they will call and never no call

Absolute scammers. Our home warranty company, AHS assigned Brickstreet to us to replace our hot water heater. AHS covered the new hot water heater and installation to the company. Brickstreet wanted $600 extra! They said it was so bring it up to code. When I asked what exactly this was for, they wouldn't send me an itemized list as I was told it would be a pan and valve (basically both items can be bough at Home Depoty for $25). Complete waste of my time....stay away from them!

American Home Shield assigned this company to do repairs. I was given a number to call and an automated message services pretends to be helping other ""VALUED"" customers while I'm on hold. After being on hold, the BS automated message system then refers me to another voice-mail system. I would not recommend this company after my personal experience and after reading the reviews.

I normally don't write a negative review, but I feel it's necessary to warn others before they use this business. The first appointment was a window between 8-12. They didn't show up til 2:30 which I understand because jobs can take longer. Its hard to get hold of them by phone however text seems to work better. I texted them an offer to reschedule because I know jobs can take longer than expected. I got no response...they just showed up late. The person did repair one toilet and one faucet. One faucet he needed to order supplies. All fair and good so far. The last faucet had a drip once a minute. In his repair, he broke it and it was gushing out and he couldn't get it to stop. He called his supervisor who helped him install some small spring and the drip went back to once a minute. The technician told me they would have to break the wall to fix this and that would be in his report. Well the next day, that once a minute drip went to a steady stream of water and I called back. They played coy on the whole situation and a week later agreed to send someone out. Similar to before 8-12 window, however a no show, I text and they apologize and tell me 12-4 window. Still no show, I text then I get a call they aren't coming because they have to break the wall and there is nothing they can do. So I contact the insurance company and they filed a LIE 1st saying they came out a few days ago which they didn't and 2nd saying they didn't have to break the wall and just replace the faucet which the technician told me otherwise. Now I've got to pay to have the insurance company go with another vendor because this one can't fix what they broke, can't keep an appointment, can't be honest with the insurance company. I've provided the insurance company the text message evidence. Hopefully they will prevent others from this misfortune.

The most unprofessional company I have dealt with. They were assigned to me by AHS ( I'm writing to corporate since they seem to contract a lot of poor quality service contractors). I cancelled my initial service request with AHS upon seeing their poor reviews and poorer customer service for this company.

Unfortunately, the company still called me three times back to back after I sent them to voicemail since I was not available to speak. I called back to inquire why they called me so many times, which is considered harassment, and when I told them my name, Maria Rivera proceeded to hang up in my face. Wow...I'm glad I cancelled my service request since this company has no concept of professionalism. By the grace of God, I am now working with a better company called 20/20 Drain Clean and Plumbing (which have excellent reviews by the way).

If you have American Home Shield and don't like the contractors that are assigned to you, either call and speak to customer service to go through a list and check out the reviews or keep canceling the service request until you find a better and more qualified company. That is what I do and it works wonderfully. However, I know it can be a pain and this is why each of you should contact corporate and complain about the lack of quality contractors they contract to their customers.

They were contracted by American Home Shield to fix a direct vent water heater. I can't even get them to submit a diagnosis so we can move forward with repairs. After reading the reviews I am more worried now that they will stay assigned. It's the middle of the winter and they don't care that there is no heat or hot water. Run run run just as fast as you can!

American Home Shield (""AHS"") assigned Brick Street Plumbing (""Brick Street"") after I sent a request have my water heater repaired. The contractor arrived on Tuesday, December 1, and stated that I needed a new water heater. However, he turned off a valve to the overflow pipe, which resulted in further damage to my neighbor's condo unit downstairs (her drywall, light fixtures, and floor are ruined). Disregarding that issue (mostly because AHS ignored my plea for help and said they weren't responsible for secondary damage), I called to set up an appointment with Brick Street to have a new water heater installed. They said in order to schedule that appointment I would need to pay $600 for upgrades. I obliged because I was desperate and assumed that was the price of having the work done correctly. They informed me that the earliest possible date the water heater could be replaced was Dec. 10 (over a week later). I said that was fine. When the contractor came to install the water heater on Dec. 10, he said he couldn't do it because the water to the entire apartment building needed to be drained (he said the other technician should have explained that to us, looked at where to shut the water off, etc. claiming he only needed to know where the risers are and quoted that I would probably have to pay $300 more for him to come back out). I wanted things done correctly so I said that it would be fine to reschedule. We rescheduled for Dec. 14. I coordinated with my HOA (my HOA spoke with the plumber/contractor, etc.). I bought water for all of my neighbors, knocked on their doors, etc. I was so excited to finally have hot water after 2 weeks without it and having the nightmare of dealing with AHS, Brick Street, insurance companies, etc. end. Unfortunately, on Dec. 14, less than 30 minutes before my appointment I received a message from Brick Street that the contractor would not show up unless I paid an additional $500 to drain the water. This is after I had already been charged $643 for nothing, which would have resulted in a total of $1,143 that I would have been paying out of pocket to Brick Street (mind you, nothing would've been completed at that point - so they wanted cash upfront). I refused to give them any more money as I assume, especially after reading these reviews, they would continue to delay, demand more cash, and screw things up further. I gave up and called someone else. I was able to find someone to complete a same day installation for $1,700. It infuriates me to think of this company doing this to an elderly person, a single parent, or just anyone that doesn't have the cash on hand to pay for an outside contractor to get around AHS, Brick Street, and their tactics. I could deal with the inconvenience of not having hot water for 2 weeks and spending the cash to get other help, but when I think of how they routinely do this to people (per these reviews....especially to vulnerable people, during holiday season, during COVID), I see RED. To their credit, they said they refunded the $643.00 (we will see if that is true in the next 3-5 business days). However, please note that the refund authorization came AFTER I could only get through to their customer service line if I blocked my number using *67 (one time I got through and the call ""dropped"" right after I told them my address haha!) and was persistent in my calling. I see other reviews had similar problems. My advice: Request another contractor. If you are in the middle of dealings with Brick Street, do not give them cash. Request a cash out/cash in lieu from AHS (the amount will not include labor, but I promise it will be cheaper in the long run) and pay for someone that will fix your plumbing issues correctly.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! UNPROFESSIONAL! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! WOULD NOT ANSWER THE PHONE FOR DAYS, what company does that? 5 WEEKS to install a new water heater!
So if anything, please follow all the 1 Star reviews of this horrible company. I will also say, do not use AHS home warranty, as they employ these subpar companies.
Brick Street Plumbing(BS) is absolutely the worst company I have had the displeasure of hiring. The issue: My older water heater started leaking, so contacted AHS on 10/30/2020 who recommended Brick Street and scheduled the appointment for 3 days later!
Brick Street did arrive for the appointment, and temporarily fixed the issue on 11/03/2020, but stated that the water heater needed to BE REPLACED! After at least 6 phone calls to both BS (Brick Street) and AHS and 5 WEEKS, BS finally made the appointment, only to cancel and not reschedule. I had to contact them and finally got a text that they would be out the next day. My tenant said the new water heater looked good and that the tech was good, but he installed it WRONG!
So basically after more than a month, the installation was done incorrectly. I have had to contact another plumbing company to correct the issues, as I will not ever contact this company and stay on hold for hours, they are not worth it! Maybe they can unclog toilets, but don't hire for anything else.

My home warranty company assigned Bricks Street Plumbing. The technician who arrived had to call another plumber to help him read the setup of a dual water heater. While the technician had all the notes on the account, he determined I needed a gas valve replaced, but claimed it was a manufacturing defect which wouldn't be covered under my home warranty. In addition, he mentioned an expansion tank should be added. Note, at the time the water heater was installed expansion tanks were not required, and I do not have an issue with water pressure in home-- therefore, it's not a required expense, although it would be nice to have. I would not recommend this company or AHS both are dishonest scammers.

My home warranty company, AHS assigned Brick Street Plumbing to fix a leak from my shower faucet and after reading the reviews I was terrified of the type of service I might receive. I will say I was pleasantly surprised by my technician, Keith. I'm not suggesting the bad reviews are false. I did bring up the bad reviews with Keith and he acknowledged they had some bad employees who are no longer with the company. Keith was timely, knowledgeable, pleasant to work with and fixed my leak properly in less than half hour. I hope everyone receives similar service as I did going forward.
