Will P.Tracy from Bragg Plumbing came to our home this morning to replace two toilet mechanisms and it was a pleasure to work with him. He was on time and took care of the two toilets but was also able to track down a new faucet at a local plumbing supply to replace one that had begun leaking in our garage. We were pleasantly surprised when he returned with the replacement faucet 30 minutes after leaving our home. His pleasant demeanor, professionalism and can do attitude were greatly appreciated. Replacing the leaky garage faucet took away our worries and cares.
Norman B.Let me validate my review by stating I was a service plumber for 20 years up until a little less than a year ago when my arthritis and torn cartilage in my knees stopped me from being able to do my job.
My sister asked me if there was someone I could recommend to replace a water heater flex line that had a pin hole leak in it in Windsor Ca on 9/15/20. I said she should try Bragg, and here is what happened:
We called Bragg, and they sent out Todd. Todd looked at the problem, and sent over a bid for the repair. He quoted $367.68 to complete the 15 minute job that required a $10 part. My sister called me when she got the quote because she felt like that was really high. Of course she was correct. I never charged more than $125 to replace a water heater supply line which was a little more than a service call and the cost of the supply line.
Even if a company charged a minimum 2 hours @ $75 per hour for a service call and cost of parts up charged by 20% that would be less than half the cost that was quoted.
In Todd's bid, he wrote that the 3/4"" ball valve (emergency shut) was going to be replaced. It made no mention of the actual problem, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with the shut off valve in the water heater closet. Todd clearly didn't understand he would be trying to lie to the sister of a 20 year plumber, and thought he could lie and no one would know. I suspect he does this every day. When my sister confronted him, he had no explanation for his unethical practice, and said, ""well should we just call it a wash?"". My sister said yes, and called me. I went across town to the residence where the pin hole leak was happening to ""investigate"" and I took pictures which I will post on here along with the picture of the invoice.
I called the company and talked to the receptionist at length about the situation, and she sympathized with me about it, and said she would have the owner call me. I haven't heard from the owner yet, and I don't expect to, because I don't think he cares as long as he gets the money. BUYER BEWARE! HOMEOWNER BEWARE!
I sincerely hope that people will read this review before they decide to call this company for anything.

Thank you for reading!
I have used Tracy at Bragg Plumbing on several occasions. I am very pleased with Tracy. He always discusses the cost of the job and gives you different options. He is friendly and efficient and gets the job done.
I definitely recommend the company and Tracy.
Our A/C stopped working during the Labor Day weekend record setting heat wave.
I called on Monday Labor Day and spoke with Tracy who assured me his Company was one of the best, and would take good care of us.
We were able to get a next day appointment our technician was Sean, he arrived in the window of time I was given, he was friendly and took the time to explain what the problem was. He had the part on his service vehicle and replaced it, he then fired up the system and it was working again, what a relief. He walked around and did some testing to be sure all was good.
Sean noticed we had some vents closed off and took the time to explain a few things about vent settings for the best use and protection of our A/C system.
Shortly after Sean left Tracy made a follow up call to be sure all was working and that we were happy with the service we received.
The price charged was fair, I now have Bragg in my contacts for any future Plumbing or HVAC things that may come up.
Thank you Bragg!

Tommy T.I always try to buy from and support local businesses but these guys make that very difficult to do with outright price gouging tactics. Buyer beware, I called to have my AC looked at for a $89 diagnostic call. The tech identified the problem within 15 min which was a capacitor located within the outdoor condensor unit. To my astonishment I was quoted a price of $750 to replace the capacitor! I reluctantly agreed to have the part replaced as we are currently in dangerous heat wave and I have been without AC for 2 days. After the tech left I pulled the panel on the condesor unit and located the capacitor. After shutting the breaker to the unit I removed the capacitor and found several replacement options online for $25. Bragg wants $750 to perform a 5 min service call and replace a $25 part? I canceled the replacement with Bragg immediately. I ordered the part on amazon with 1 day shipping for under $100. Buyer beware, these guys are price gouging taking advantage of people and during the worst possible time during a dangerous heatwave. This behavior is deplorable and reprehensible.
Too expensive!!! When the technician came to look at my A/C, he knew right away that the problem was the capacitor. I didn't think there was going to be an issue with the cost because I figured a capacitor shouldn't cost that much. He didn't disclose the cost of the part and labor, instead he went ahead and replaced the capacitor. He told me after the fact that it was going cost $448! There is no justification for why I would be charged $379 for the capacitor. I feel that the technician took advantage of the fact that I'm a woman. Shame on you, Bragg Plumbing!!! Never again would I give you any business!
We needed a new AC repair business. Was not happy with ours. We were in a heat wave at the time also. We made several calls and we were impressed with the professionalism and polite phone manners. They were very thorough in conversation. We weren't sure as we had a scheduling problem so did not complete call. They called us back/set up time to come and review AC/set up time to repair and completed repair.
We had Todd and David. Both were professional and courteous.
Our AC is working and running as if it were new. There work is guaranteed. The found and fixed everything that was wrong. They also kept there committed time quoted. Excellent service from Bragg Plumbing and Heating. We would refer and if we ever have future problems as AC gets older, we would call Bragg.
Great service. Thank you, Thomas/Rhonda Booth in Windsor CA
We have been using Bragg for a number of years. When we had a sudden leaking situation yesterday, they were on it, fixing the problem quickly and professionally, and for a very fair price. As an added bonus, they didn't need to be asked but were proactive in exercising all best practices in working indoors under current conditions with masks, etc. Highly recommended!
Great experience. Was new to the ductless mini split A/C world. My home had challenges for install, and ultimately how efficient the system would be, due to so many windows and high ceilings. Chance was very knowledgeable and generous with his time, helping me to make informed decisions. I got 4 bids and chose Bragg because of Chance. He went over and above starting with the initial appointment for an install assessment and estimate, and throughout the installation process. This included being conscientious about taking good care of my house, keeping the work space clean, giving me options as to where to drill the holes in the walls, placement of the interior and exterior units, and answering my many questions. I now have the right size unit, positioned in an unassuming location in the great room, with everything functioning as planned. Most appreciative!
Carmen was friendly and professional and followed through seamlessly with scheduling and any questions.
Highly recommend them.
I found a bat in my bedroom and Animal Control thought it might have come from the bedroom vent. Carmen and Chace were great. They came out right away, within an hour of my phone call. They checked the vents in my unit, determined there were no bats in the vent, covered the two bedroom vents over with duct tape (just so I'd feel better) and didn't even charge me for their time. I'm so appreciative of their help and I highly recommend them to everyone.
