THIS COMPANY IS A JOKE. My hot water heater was leaking so I called my insurance company (American Home Shield) and they sent Boyle Plumbing. Boyle came to my house for 10 minutes, did not fix the leak, somehow managed to accidentally turn off the water for 24 hours and left with $75. When I called to tell them they turned off the hot water they did not call me back for another 24 hours.
I called the insurance company again to send someone else out because the heater was still not working and they tried to send Boyle again, I said no way but they told me that was the only company they could use. I refused and after 30 minutes of back and forth they made an appointment for a different company to come out.
Bottom line, they are not looking to fix anything. The only reason they have any business is because American Home Shield pays them a deductible to say that nothing needs to be fixed.
On top of that, they are very rude.

**PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW** We had a leaking pressure valve on our water heater and submitted a claim through First American Home Warranty plan on a Sunday. Monday morning I got a call from Boyle Plumbing to schedule a service visit on Tuesday. Sean, the technician, showed up early. This was OK because I got a call from Boyle Plumbing in the morning telling me they were running early. Anyways, confirmed the problem, had the parts, fixed the valve. Super professional. Properly turned off water, drained the tank in a bucket, cut the copper...No water on the floor. Sean also gave me some background on the possible causes and some ideas on other plumbing questions. Great job and no complaints. I won't speak to the bad reviews because I cannot relate. Thanks Sean!

First I hope this doesn't get deleted

This company took care of our emergency issues with no hassles, great communication and prompt solution with no issues

I have a house out here, so when I come to visit, I want to make sure that I have phone numbers of home services to fix problems when needed, for instance, Plumbing, electrical and construction

Boyle Plumbing is on my list and have never LOOKED back

I personally think that most of these reviews are controlled by Yelp

Shame on them

Boyle plumbing came out to replace our hot water heater. We had to use them because of our home warranty. The plumber that came out had a very hard time getting the fittings to stop leaking. He also bent the nipples on the hot water tank because he made the copper line too short. That was about a month ago and when I went down to the garage last night the copper line was leaking in 2 different spots and at both nipple connections on the water heater. Asked if they could send out a supervisor and Shawn Boyle (owner) came out. He basically agreed that it was leaking but was not very nice about it. He claimed that sometimes the nipple fittings on the hot water heater come bent from the factory. I informed him that I saw the plumber crank down on the fittings to make them stop leaking. after that he did not want to talk anymore and left angry. They are fixing the leaks now and I will update in a month.

The worst plummer ever. DO NOT GO TO THIS COMPANY. I paid for my service and nothing has done. They lied, the technician is lazy and . The worst one ever. Look at the star rating. Took your money and left you doing the job yourself. I'm so very mad at them and will make sure that people out there knowing their TERRIBLE SERVICE. Making a home owner mad is not a good things. Good luck Boyle Plumbing for your terrible business.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! AHS (American Home Shield) likes them because Boyle will find a reason to not have the repair be under home warranty. That is why AHA uses them as first call. Boyle lies and they are a huge rip off. They took total advantage of my elder mom. If you have an AHS policy, do not let them send Boyle. They have other plumbers that are reputable. This is a filthy company!

Their so-called ""customer service"" is the worst I've ever encountered. They barely answer their phone, put one on hold forever, say that the scheduler is on another line, and never call back! It takes weeks for the simplest repair to take place, and not all technicians are very well trained. Albert is excellent! I've put them on my ""Refused List"" with AHS.

These clowns came to my house, couldn't find the cleanout, then left without doing the job. When I showed them the cleanout, they wouldn't do the work. Lazy, useless and rude. That's how I'd describe Boyle

Worst plumbers in the Bay Area and they work for AHS so you know they are bottom feeders. After delays in response that just unconsciounable, they have sent me plumbers that are either rude or incompetent or both. They messed a recent sump pump job and voided my insurance coverage--which I promptly cancelled. The plumber offered to do the work ""outside of insurance"" for 3 times the actual cost of the pump and this after collecting the $75 service call fee. Avoid this plumber and their criminal employer, American Home Shield at all costs.

Not surprised to see so many 1-star reviews.

We didn't have heat in our house for over a month. Our home warranty company dispatched Boyle to our house after another HVAC vendor had installed a new boiler HVAC guy thought we had a separate plumbing issue. When Boyle arrived, technician said everything looked fine with out performing any diagnostics or check up on the system itself. Despite me telling him the entire background story and asking him to check the boiler and associated plumbing, he did nothing except call the manufacturer to check on an error light which ended up not being an issue.

Fast forward 1 week - still no heat! Boyle said they would send a technician to my house again. When they didn't show, I called the office. Office basically said they refused to come since my warranty company wasn't going to pay them. Fair enough. I then simply asked to have technician call me so I could explain the situation. Did I receive a call? Nope!

This company seemingly has no concept of customer service or just regular decency. I understand there was an issue receiving funds from the warranty company, but would think I deserve a call at the very least, to say you won't be coming.
