Never again will I myself use Boulden Brothers or refer anyone else to them. I was told by one of their techs that I needed a whole new heating system because of a crack in my heat exchanger. Tried to set me up with an appointment to speak about installation and financing a new system. I cancelled the appointment and decided to have a second opinion in which I was told there was no problem with my system. I feel betrayed and will never use or refer them to anyone. Beware of these people. Tried to get a refund of my measly 59$....not a chance!!!! Never again!!!

Hired them to install interior gas lines. First appointment went well and then we had to wait for Delmarva to finish installing the exterior lines. Once that had been done I scheduled a plumber and Boulden scheduled the pressure test and meter hang. First appointment, the plumber canceled last minute so I made a second appointment and Boulden was supposed to cancel the other people. Second appointment day came and Boulden called to tell me that for some reason I wasn't on the inspector's schedule. So yet again, no progress and another day taken off for work for nothing. Third appointment, pressure test goes well, Delmarva meter hang guy comes out and tells me the pipes are installed in such a way that the meter cannot be hung. Thankfully he was able to fix it and hang the meter but it was still so frustrating. Also the quote I was given at the beginning was no where near the final cost. I'm not sure if that's their fault for not explaining or mine for not understanding.

After spending more than $3600 with them over the past few months and being a club member, still waiting on a part from a July 1st service call. Unbelievable. Either it gets fixed in the next week or we end our membership and take all of our business elsewhere. Customer service is lacking as we have to continue to call. Last call has been made.

I called Boulden because I had an electrical issue following the installation of an appliance. They came out within 4 hours and walked me through everything. They were very knowledgeable and did not cost an arm and a leg. I would not hesitate to use them again for electrical needs.

We've had two visits from Boulden Brothers so far and have no complaints. My wife dealt with the first visit and I just wrapped up with the second. Our technician, Joe, was really courteous and knowlegable. He was good at problem solving to address our issue. WE do have the contract with them, and so far, so good.

This was the biggest rip-off that I've ever seen. After 3 visits and money spent for a problem never corrected, they had the nerve to ask me for more money for a ""potential"" solution. Never again!....Plus, they keep trying to sell service plans & other misc. equipment vs. getting to the root of my problem....

I have been a customer of Boulden for 6 years and before they came Boulden Brothers, they were fantastic. We had the best tech, Victor, that came every time, knew or names and never pressured us into anything we didn't need. Two years ago, our AC unit went out and we purchased a new AC and furnace and opted for the second tier option. We service our unit every 6 months to keep everything in tip-top shape. After we purchased our unit, many things changed with the company. Our favorite tech quit, we got a different tech every time and each one was always new. Today, we had them out for furnace servicing and mentioned that the fan wouldn't circulate air all the time, only if the furnace or AC came on. The tech claimed that our circuit board was shot and we would need a new one at the sum of $750. On a two year old unit? And he didn't have the part to fix it today (not that we would have let him) We promptly called the service manager, Maurice, and learned that Boulden 1) doesn't care about customers, 2) doesn't care about keeping customers. They claimed that since we did not sign up for their overpriced no worries service plan that we didn't have a warranty on our unit. Please note that we did have the service plan that costs $15/month. Yes, without their more expensive servicing plan, our warrant on manufacturers warranty was void. Maurice wasn't willing to do anything to keep us as customers and passed us along to leave a message with the service manager. We have yet to hear from him. It was shocking to me that this company would not stand behind the equipment they sell. Then we called one of their competitors to get them out to verify the problem. While talking to this company, they said we should call the manufacturer to see if we had a warranty. We called Amana and they verified that we had a 10 year parts and labor warranty. Please heed the warning that Boulden does not care about customer service and lies about warranties. If you purchase a system through them and they claim that you don't have a warranty unless you buy their overpriced service plan, they are lying. Do not make the same mistake that we did by using Boulden. It is not the same company that it was in 2013.

Way Way too much money for a 5 foot piece of pvc joined to the existing pipe. 2 hours work kind of a difficult break made where the old pipes joined. $668..........i'm 64 and wasn't paying close attention. Got robbed. Nice guy and proficient plumber but DANG. Totally beware of the great white circling you.

Do NOT sign a long term propane contract with them. Once they have you, you'e stuck and then it doesn't matter how they treat you. And definitely don't let them bury one of their tanks!

Been a customer since 1997 for propane. They used to be good, but things have gone downhill. This year it's so bad I need to discontinue service; they leave me no choice. I've left emails and voicemails. I'm promised calls back that don't happen. I was threatened to have my propane service shut off and tank removed with just a few hours notice on aug 7th 2015 if I didn't immediately go home, scan in the updated contract, and email them a copy. Even know they had a copy in the postal mail. And even know I called wed the 5th to offer to email a copy, and nobody got back to me with where to send it.

On Aug 10th I was promised a call back within ""2 business days"" by the owner or someone who had spoken to the owner to resolve all the problems with my account. It's Aug 19th and I still haven't heard anything from anyone.

But they did have time to send a tech by today to put a lock on my tank so I don't ""buy propane elsewhere"". I don't want to break contract. I just want someone to return my #$@#$ phone calls.

At this point just sell me the tank or remove it. I'm done with giving you 2nd, 3rd, 4th chances.

When a company is selling something essential that people must have to heat their homes, heat water, and/or cook, it's not ok for them to lock someone into a contract and then simply stop returning phone calls and take zero responsibility for frequent ""misunderstandings"".
