Jerry is AMAZING. I manage a small business in Santa Monica, and our toilet had gotten clogged up. Because we're currently understaffed, I have to make sure I'm on top of everything around here, so adding something like a clogged toilet to that list was not ideal --but Jerry and his partner came within an hour of my calling him and saved the day! He was incredibly friendly, and worked quickly and efficiently. And the best part: they cleaned up after themselves and left our bathroom looking spotless. Truly a wonderful, professional company. I wouldn't recommend anyone else.

I had a great experience with Botham Plumbing. I'm pretty confident the guy who came (Jerry) was the owner because he looked respectable and was extraordinarily professional. He just needed to snake my sewer but did it quickly, thoroughly, and didn't charge a lot. Overall a very positive experience.

This guy is BS. I live in SM and am a condo owner -I called to ""try"" to schedule an appointment for faulty valve repair. Instead, I got grilled with numerous questions- first, I was asked how I got his phone number (? - Yelp...). Then, I was asked if I owned or rent. When I said I was a condo owner, Jerry told me I had to go through a ""HOA"" approval process before scheduling a service appointment. Well, that' s BS as I've had had several service calls with other plumbers in the past...so once we got past that third question, he proceeds to tell me that he's too busy with another project and doesn't have the time to come out. Well, why didnt you say that in the first place? What plumber turns down a service call??

Great guys and a stellar company! They arrived within 10 minutes of my call and fixed my toilet in less than 10 minutes. Totally reasonable $$ and definitely will call again!

Jerry & his team are fantastic. We had a leak in our water heater that we noticed at 9:30 on a Friday night. His team was at our house by 10:15, fixed it by 11:00, then came back early in the morning for a quick follow up. They are nice people, who are really look after their customers. Definitely use Botham if you are in the west side of Los Angeles.

The worst experience I have ever had with a plumber! He came out to give an estimate on a slow draining toilet, quoting $150 for labor and a $45 ""truck"" fee to replace a $30 part, which he said would take 15 minutes to replace. When questioned what a ""truck"" fee was, he said they have a specialized truck with special equipment and they drove it here so it's part of the service. When I asked him if he could show me which part needed to be replaced, he said ""why, do you think you can do it yourself?"" He kept repeating defensively when I asked him more questions. And when I said I thought the cost was on the high side, he repeated that I should do it myself, took his estimate and shoved it in his pocket and walked out. He was very rude, unprofessional and obviously makes his money by ripping people off with ridiculous charges. To top it off, the part he said to replace was replaced last year and still good. Another plumber that I got after him said it was slow draining simply because the toilet/pipe needed to be snaked. Stay clear of this plumber!

Jerry was awesome!!! I was recovering from food poisoning the morning that our toilet clogged (joy upon joy), and spent an hour calling different plumbers. Most put me on hold, and the ones who didn't told me I had to wait 1-2 days. Jerry came over to my apartment within an hour, as promised, and took no time at all to make the fix. He pointed out what went wrong, what he had to replace, and how to make sure it wouldn't happen again.

Also just a really friendly guy overall. Will definitely call Jerry for future issues and would highly recommend to anyone.

Bothum is one if those rare, wonderful rays of sunshine who come into your life when you least expect it, and remind you that there are awesome, selfless people out there.

I needed a plumber, so naturally, I hit up yelp for a referral. He had great reviews and was close, so I called him. Boo - he's on vacation. But rather than blowing me off, he asked about the problems and then walked me through how to fix them. It was a good 30 minute conversation with him on speaker and me with pliers and zero natural handiness. It worked, which is a testament to his guidance and patience.

This is a man who doesn't know me and was taking time to help without getting anything in return. And he had such a positive, warm and caring way about him. Even ending the convo with an Irish proverb wishing me 100 years of happiness. Thanks universe, for making my path cross with such a good human being today.
