Do your research and get multiple quotes before trusting this business. I was quoted $2600 to replace parts to fix a heater in the middle of December. Their technician claimed the unit was in terrible condition and realistically needed to be REPLACED to avoid addition fixes. It seemed odd as we're in a newer development in Rocklin. I postponed their work and had a different business review the heater to provide a second opinion. The second company fixed the problem in 10 minutes by lubing a part that was stuck and charged me $100 to replace the part to avoid future issues. (They said the unit looked good and couldn't locate any issues with the larger parts that Bonney had quoted were broken). Bonney is a total scam. Their management won't even provide a clear explanation or apology after charging me $89 diagnostic fee to simply lie to my face and leave us freezing in the middle of winter. Please beware.

20 Jan 2021: I highly recommend Bonney for your HVAC, plumbing and electrical needs.   Michael came out a couple weeks ago  to provide me with an estimate and explained how the system worked. His explanation was much easier to understand vs what I was reading on the internet.  I had LOTS of questions and he answered them.to my satisfaction.

Prior to agreeing to have the work performed, I was concerned with an exterior install. Michael came back out, assessed interior of my garage and said "" we can install inside without any issue.""

Today was install day.  Michael and Juan (helper) were punctual, in fact early. I was told it would take pretty much the whole day to do the job.  I was impressed with their attention to all the details. They cleaned up the garage very well and even helped move my workbench back into place.

I would HIGHLY recommend Bonney for your service needs.

Had no hot water coming out of our on-demand. Called Bonney. Said they charge $49 to come out and waived if they do work. Plumber shows up and start off by lecturing me on the need for maintenance on the tankless water heaters. Mind you, he's done nothing except stand by the closet where the unit is. He then states, it will cost you $249 for me to open this unit, to take out the four screws. I point out the $49 quote. And his response was ""that gets me to the door"". He left and I got C&M Plumbing and they were out the next day. Even took the four screws off without asking for a penny.

Today we had a really great experience and our first experience !!! We had a sink clog up and they came out on a Sunday ( never an extra charge ) - the technician spend about 45 minutes under the house and the outcome was good and a lot less money then expected . We signed up for continued maintenance with ""Bonnie beyond and the diagnostic was free !!!!

Very dissatisfied with Bonney. While the workers who installed our HVAC this last summer worked very hard they left the gas off and the next morning we had no hot water and others adjustments were needed because the installation was done wrong. Another time they were out for repairs they left the wall thermostat off and had to come back and fix it and they installed an incorrect size filter without telling us and cut a larger one to fit. We went off the measurements written on the filter and ordered the wrong size replacement. We failed county inspection 3 times and repairs had to be made 4 times. Everytime someone had to come out we had to spend hours waiting for them to arrive during their window. I had to complain 3 times before I was contacted by a supervisor. This supervisor, Michael made me 3 promises to "" regain our trust"" on December 23rd and only completed one. On January 6th I called him to remind him of his other promises: to deliver the correct size filter and contact the county for hopefully a final inspection. While he did come through with a $250 credit for a $14000 system (which I consider inadequate), I should not have to remind him to follow through on his promises. If he had done so in a timely manner I would not be complaining in a public way, but I felt I had no other recourse due to the lack of dedication of Bonney's. My trust will never be regained until I hear from someone else and some other form of compensation is offered. Big fail Bonney.

Jake from Bonney came to help me resolve a bad odor emanating from the bathroom area of my home. It was soon apparent to him that the source was not the plumbing but that didn't stop him. He crawled through the attic space and the crawl-space under my house and concluded that the odor was likely a rodent that had gotten trapped and was decaying in my bathroom wall. I will of course have to remediate the issue with another contractor but I really appreciated the extra effort and commend his service above and beyond the call.

Well unfortunately I have to give an update, I had another sink that was needing to be unclogged so I called Bonney plumbing and they couldn't get out to me for a week, I made the comment well I bet if I was a bam member ""$250"" price on it that they would be out here sooner and she had thought that I wanted to become a member. Sure enough she said I can have someone out the next day which really irritated me, felt I was being force into there bam membership. So what choice did I have and went ahead and agreed so they could come out and fix my problem. They gave me a window of 1 till 5, and they next day I was feeling really irritated about just how they were trying to force me to purchase something just to get them out sooner. So I looked back on Yelp and found a local plumber which is coming out today to unclog my drain with zero pressure to purchase anything else....

Sorry Bonnie , looks like you lost a customer

On 1/1/21 Bonney Plumbing Heating Air & Rooter Service Technician Michael Forgeur came to my residence to diagnose my nonfunctioning water heater. Michael stated the original issue (Thermopile) was not the issue, in fact the control module failed and needed to be replaced. In addition to the control module, this would require another new thermopile and a few other misc. parts. The total verbal quote for the repair was $585.00. Michael stated he could not order parts until 1/4/21 as suppliers were closed for the holiday. Michael then suggested I replace the entire water heater unit and suggested ""he could complete that service immediately"". I asked for a price on the identical water heater replacement for comparison sake, Michael stated ""About $3,100.00"". I declined the full replacement and opted for the control module replacement option. Michael stated he would order, receive, and install the new control module sometime on 1/4/21. I was not provided a quote in person, nor in writing despite providing my email address.

On 1/4/21 Michael returned to my residence with a new control module and thermopile which he installed. Shortly after installation Michael stated ""I have good news and bad news. The good news is the control module and thermopile are functioning correctly, the bad news is you have a fracture in the tank itself, and the entire thing needs to be replaced"". I immediately requested he show me the fracture and leak, Michael declined. I then stated that I didn't believe the diagnosis and that I have no interest in moving forward with a full replacement. Michael stated ""well then I have to charge you for the new parts I installed"". I declined and requested he remove the new parts, and re-install the old parts, as his original diagnosis was found to be incorrect. Michael stated ""I'm not going to do that, you need to pay for these parts"". I immediately requested this issue be escalated. Michael phoned his office then claimed no management were available to speak to me. I then again requested Michael uninstall the new hardware and reinstall the old hardware, which he declined. Michael stated that someone from Bonney Plumbing management would contact me 1/5/21 and he left my residence. I was not provided an invoice for the services rendered, nor was I provided an invoice via email. Please note, the water heater was left untouched by me just as Michael left it when he exited my residence. I immediately contacted Bonney Plumbing and requested a manager. I was told no management were available and that someone would contact me by COB 1/4/21.

On 1/5/21 a Technician from another reputable company came to my residence to diagnose my still nonfunctioning water heater. I explained what diagnosis, and services were previously provided by Bonney Plumbing. The new tech. performed a thorough, and comprehensive inspection of the unit that included work previously performed by Bonney Plumbing. The new tech. reinstalled the existing parts on the water heater and began a thorough test of the unit. He quickly concluded that the unit was fully operational and did not require replacing. Additionally, he stated the new thermopile, installed by Bonney Plumbing should be replaced because of the low volt reading he was receiving. I received and paid my invoice provided by the new tech., and was provided a soft copy of my invoice to my email address. Upon the new tech. leaving my residence, I called Bonney and requested to speak to management, and was unsuccessful.

I placed 3 separate phone calls to Bonney Plumbing Heating Air & Rooter between 1/4/21 and 1/5/21 requesting to speak to any member of their management team and I have not received a return call, nor has anyone from management agreed to speak with me.

Edit** A supervisor in Bonney Plumbing's call center department gave me a follow up call. She stated that their Plumbing Unit Manager Sam Blakly was offering a discount on my ""outstanding invoice"" from $585 to $292.99. To date, I Bonney Plumbing is requesting nearly $300 from me for services not successfully rendered. In short, my family and I spent nearly 6 days without hot water while trying to navigate Bonney Plumbing attempting to defraud us out of $3000+ on a water heater we didn't need. Additionally, Bonney Plumbing is requesting I pay for parts, I didn't need, because their inept technician refused to uninstall them. If you gain anything from this story, it's that you shouldn't do business with Bonney Plumbing. CLSB has been engaged in an effort to remedy this issue.

**Update** Shortly after posting this review, Sam Blakly returned my many telephone calls. Sam and I had a lengthy conversation about my experience and ultimately came to a resolution. Sam followed up quickly after the call with an amended invoice reflecting a zero balance due. I've rescinded my CLSB complaint as I'm happy with the outcome.

Complete HVAC replacement. We obtained four competing bids. Bonney pricing, equipment, and service was the best choice. They did not upsell. Bid discussion included code compliance that was not discussed with other companies. Moana was extremely knowledgeable and professional. Everything went smoother and more efficiently than promised. We have dealt with a major home repair due to a dishwasher ""flood"" recently. We definitely know the difference between horrible service and great professional service. This was PERFECT! Jake and the entire installation crew were polite, efficient, and respectful to our home. I can not compliment all involved enough. Thank you!

Called for after hours to have my drain snaked. They proceeded to give me a list of qualifications to receive after hour service. Practically asked my birth sign. Wouldn't call them if you need service asap
