My experience with Ed was nothing short of professional in all aspects. I had called him for help with my leaking dishwasher. He immediately called me back and he even showed up the same day! Since he was in the area, he actually took an extra 30 minutes at the end of his day to drop by. He immedately knew what was wrong and how to fix it. He ordered the necessary parts and notified me once the parts came in so he could finish the job. As a result, my problem was fixed in the timeline he promised.

Additionally, he installed a safety valve that made my dishwasher set up more effecicient and that would prevent additional problems in the future. I also told Ed about a long standing hammering problem that I've had with my pipes. He took the time and effort to crawl through my attic space and inspect the plumbing running throughout my entire house. These extra services proves that Ed genuinely cares about doing a good job for his customers.

Ed is knowledgable, professional, responsive and experienced. Bonafide Plumbing will certainly be the company I call for my plumbing for years to come!

Well its February 2013, and another good job by Ed. He switched out my old kitchen faucet with a new one and quickly fixed my other toilet. What I like about Ed is that he is a friendly easy going guy who is professional and competent. He's busy so you get his voice mail, but he quickly texts or calls back, makes an appointment, and does the job.

In addition, he also switched out one of our toilets with a high water efficient one a few months back. Again a very good job and experience with Ed.

Had called and scheduled an appointment with Ed/Owner for an estimate on a water heater. When I first called, he wanted to give a quote over the phone without seeing the job first hand. I told him that I do not take quotes over the phone and would like him to come, look at the job and give us a quote at that time. With some hesitation, he scheduled an appointment. Well, the day and time came and went with no phone call to that he was going to be late or to verify the appointment. Called him once to see if he was coming?!? Second call (more than hr. after the appt. time) and cancel the appointment. Our concern was if he can't be on time and keep his appointments, what is his customer service like once the job is done...no thank you.

Follow-up: Ed called over 3 hrs. later to let us know that he was at a job and couldn't call. Sorry that is not acceptable, especially if we took time off from work to be here for the appointment. A fast and simple minute to call let us know the situation and reschedule...is that too much to ask for instead of excuses!!! Thanks but no thanks!!!

After the minor scheduling snafu was resolved we had a great experience with this company. Ed was very professional and courteous. He was happy and I was even happier to discover that the issue we had with the leak in the overflow drain at our bathtub was less serious than anticipated. He was thorough and did good work and quickly.

This could've gone down three stars since Ed was MIA at times. He initially came over to fix my kitchen faucet since it started acting up and went very low water pressure. Ed was very professional and prompt, and he did fix that problem and pressure was back to normal (seems like a decomposed washer got stuck in the pipes). Then we noticed our faucet started leaking from the back of this little hole, which was not an issue until after Ed came over. I called Ed and he came back to look at it and tried to fix it, but we found after he left that it acted up again and was leaking much faster. This is when things went a bit wacky where I'd call Ed and he wouldn't respond back until a day later or he tried to schedule an appointment with me to come with new parts, but he would catch me just as I was about to leave the door so we'd reschedule a new time and he wouldn't show and he didn't respond to my calls. I finally got through to him a day later, and he finally came over and fixed my faucet for good. Ed gets five stars because he wouldn't quit on a problem and he has so much integrity to not charge you again for something he feels is his problem. My caveat is that there might be times that Ed doesn't respond back to you immediately, and I'd advise you to not take it personally.

I emailed Ed a couple of days ago after my botched attempt at fixing a toilet that wouldn't stop running on its own. He responded to my email later that evening, and he came out today and completed the job with ease -- installing the replacement hardware that I had purchased and replacing the old bolts and seals. 30 minutes later, I was back in business. Ed was very professional and told me it was good that I at least tried -- next time I will call him instead!

Ed from Bonafide came out to fix a leak in my shower that was flooding the laundry room. A little over an hour later, he had: fixed the leak, changed a stuck water filter, improved the gas flow to my whole house, and repaired a garbage disposal. All for a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

I take most Yelp reviews with a grain of salt, as no system is perfect and Yelp is no exception. That said, when I called Bonafide Plumbing I was expecting a professional and that is EXACTLY what I got. Thank you, fellow Yelpers for calling a spade a spade and recommending Ed Asuncion.

The first time I called Ed was to work on our dying food disposal system. He was prompt, fun to talk to, and honest about both the problem and the pricing. I called him out to fix a different problem a couple of days ago, and again he was quick to respond, lovely to chat with, and fair with the pricing.

Now it's my turn: If you are in need a great plumber, Ed of Bonafide Plumbing deserves your call!

I love to support small businesses and Ed is hands down the very best! We had a kitchen faucet problem that was starting to become a more serious problem as water was leaking into the wall. I had tried to arrange with Ed to schedule the work but my personal schedule was not cooperating. One evening, while doing the dishes I noticed it was getting really bad. It was about 8:30P. I called Ed hoping to leave a message so that he could come in the next day or so. He called back in 5 minutes to say, ""I'm going out of town tomorrow for a few days so the only time I can fix it is tonight"". Really? !!!! A plumber that makes a house call on a Wed. night at 9:00P? !!!!

Ed fixed the problem quickly, he just happened to have the needed part in his truck - go figure. He charged his normal rate, no after hours stuff. He was efficient, friendly and even cleaned up after! Ed and Bonafide Plumbing is highly recommended!
