I know from all the feedback here that Ed must be a great guy and do great work BUT...

We called Ed and disucssed our minor issue with him. Made an appointment and then took time off from work to meet him at the house.

Ed was a no show - and NO CALL. Not that day, not ever. I know he had our number because he called twice when we set up the appointment but then to never hear again is just really bad form. Had there been any follow-up at all I would have gladly given Bonafide a second chance but to not show up and not call is completely unexcusable.

10 STARS- Bought our very first home in Alameda and the first shower we take water starts streaming from our ceiling! Based on reviews from Yelp, called Ed and scheduled an inspection of the problem. On top of the leak, my husband was out of town and our power was shut off because we didn't set up the power through the correct company. Ed fixed the leak, got someone to come in to fix the small hole made to inspect the leak and found the main breaker to turn on the power. Ed is my hero!

Yep - Ed's the real deal. Fast, efficient, professional, courteous. And really good at what he does.

Our water main broke; he diagnosed the problem, dug up the pipe, and fixed it in an hour! Then he installed a water filter for us. Reading the instructions would have taken me more time than what it took for him to install. Most recently, he found and fixed a leaky sink basin. He is now my go-to Alameda plumber.

FAST, KIND, Affordable!
I called Bonafide this afternoon and requested help with a leaking kitchen sink. To my surprise, Ed was out here in just a couple hours. And he came with the part I needed! He swapped out the faulty pipe and was finished in about 10 mintues. What an awesome service. He even fixed a minor problem we had with a fixture, for free, because he said he doesn't like to see leave things working improperly. Now THATS good service. Five stars to Ed. Thanks for getting us up and running for the weekend.
