Yup, Ed is on point. Second visit to unclog our kitchen sink. He took the time to explain in layman's terms what is going on and what we could do to improve our systems.

Due to what I'm assuming is high demand for his service we decided to wait it out until his next available appt. Can't imagine trusting another service.

Ed has done it again! A few weeks back, I had no hot water for my shower.... Upon checking out our tiny basement, found there was water all over the floor! I called Ed, he had me look around to switch off the water until he could get here. He came as soon as he could because I couldn't figure out how to turn the gas off on the unit. He came over and checked out the situation and then said he could get back tomorrow with a new water heater because this one was ""dead and gone""! He came right at the time he said he would, took about three hours to install the new heater and took the old one away with him... ALL at a very reasonable price. Bonafide Plumbing is great!

Eddie to the rescue again!! Hot water went out last night. I am such an idiot about these things and was thoroughly convinced that the water heater would have to be replaced. Emailed Eddie at 9:00 PM and he got right back to me, walked me through the steps to get back up and running, and then followed up with me today to make sure everything was OK. Bonafide is indeed as their name implies, wouldn't think to use anyone else for plumbing. Top quality work, professional, attentive and just plain awesome!

I have used Bonafide at least 5 different times over the past 18 months. Eddie is great - reliable, skilled and cost-conscious. He arrives on time, gets things done, and is always very personable and careful in his work. I plan to keeping using him whenever I have plumbing needs.

A quick story to show just how great Ed is at his job: Last year, we started having trouble with the shower/bath downstairs (one in which the shower is above the tub, and a built-in regulator allows you to switch the water from tub to shower). Another plumber came out and looked at the situation, and concluded that we would need to tear out the existing plumbing from the wall and replace it in its entirety. I didn't even ask for an estimate; instead, I found Bonafide on Yelp and asked them to come out.

Ed spent some time looking at the problem, and then figured out that the issue was simply that an ""O"" ring had gotten old and wasn't able to create an adequate seal when we switched to shower mode. All we needed was an 80 cent replacement, and everything works great. So Ed saved us thousands of dollars and a huge headache.

I'd recommend Ed and Bonafide to anyone.

Ed recently installed a new low-flow toilet for me. I emailed him with some photos of the existing toilet/bathroom and what needed to be done, and he got back to me same day with an estimate, and when I asked, a recommendation for a great toilet and some places to buy. I ended up getting a different toilet by the same manufacturer, and I really appreciate the input because it greatly narrowed down the number of toilets I needed to compare and consider. Scheduling was easy and Ed was on time, friendly, and considerate - first thing he asked was whether he should take his shoes off (no, but I appreciate the thoughtfulness). The job was done within an hour and Ed left everything looking great. Very happy - thank you, Ed!

Our kitchen sink was leaking (recurring issue). After leaving messages with a few other highly-rated plumbers (none of whom ended up calling me back), I called Bonafide and scheduled an appointment for later that day. Ed was able to come early, and he not only fixed the leak, but reconfigured the drain pipes to correct shoddy work done by a previous plumber.
