The technician name was Travis who look into my plumbing issue he fixed it, but the handle was so loose. I called the company immediately I said can you send technician back because the handle is loose? They said someone will give me a call on Friday to schedule an appointment Very bad service. I kept asking him the question what was the problem with the pipe? He said it's a shaft issue when he was done with the work he never asked me. Can you go and check if everything is OK this kind of customer services really bad .if you call the American shield. Ask them not to give technician from blue Mountain.

This company was assigned for my home warranty. Took a week to schedule anything, then a day prior to my scheduled date they rescheduled my appt for 2 days later. The day of nobody showed up. Terrible communication on their part. Reading all these reviews I can see this is not a single occurrence. Would not recommend

After requesting this company come out to look at a hot water heater on a Monday, I was confirmed an appointment on the following Sunday (6 days later!) for the next day, Monday, 11am-3pm. On that Monday it was canceled and pushed to Tuesday to a 2-6pm window, rather than the first possible, the next day.. They still missed that appointment window.

Stay away from this company. They will waste your time, and if you are like me and took time off work to be here, your money. STAY AWAY!!

Please note that this [extremely negative] review is for Blue Mtn Plumbing in Sequin TX--there is another company with the same name in DFW. We had a pinhole leak in the supply line pipe to the hot water recirculation pump. Our home warranty company assigned us to Blue Mountain Plumbing. They set an appointment, then cancelled the day before w/o explanation, rescheduling us 2 days later. They were late to that one, but to their credit, kept us informed of the delay via text (they don't answer their phone). The plumber was initially helpful and informative. He said he could fix the pipe. Then he said he would need to replace the recirculation pump, as the hole was "too close" to it. Then he told me he would also need to replace the hot water heater, which was "too old." Then he added all the fittings and supply lines to the hot water heater, b/c he "doesn't like to use them more than once" (never been a problem in the past). Then he went into my yard and asked about a shovel, b/c he wanted to see if we needed a new pressure regulator for the entire house. I challenged him [politely at first] on each these added repairs, and he kept telling me repeatedly that he "was a licensed, bonded plumber" (something a competent professional never seems to have the need to say). After he started digging around my yard, I told he wouldn't be doing any work in my house, regardless of whether he was trying to rip off me or the warranty company. I contacted the warranty company and asked for someone else, who came out and replaced the 2" section of affected pipe in under an hour.

In April 2024, We had a technician out to diagnose why our master bath had low flow and wasn't hot. He claimed it was a cartridge issue, he would order it and come back to install. It is now September 2024, after calling them once a month, I have given up that they will ever come to resolve our issue. Every time I call, they claim the part has been ordered, but it was some how lost in transit. THREE TIMES now. DO NOT USE this plumbing company, you will not have a good experience.

Consumer beware! This company was used as part of home warranty. They came promptly, diagnosed the problem then nothing! Litterally a month now, multiple calls, texts and emails and poor response. Involved the warranty company to get a response and still not fixed.
Try not to use them if you can!​

bad company service.
the only reason I used them is because of the home warranty.

paid over $2600 for a water heater that every one install for $1400,

the breaker tripped and they didn't bother to check.

water temperature is 100 degrees Fahrenheit and they claim it is something else. I fid have this problem before .
