Recommended Customer Reviews

I rarely alter my original review of a place, but I am improving my rating of this company to 3 stars after my original review based on the outstanding customer service I received from Lorena Hayden, the customer service manager at Blue Mountain Construction. Allow me to explain my rationale for the improvement, but why I also would not give this company 5 stars either.
After Rod spilled oil on my concrete, it took me awhile to get anywhere with this company until I finally spoke to Lorena. If this review were just about Lorena's customer service, I would give her 5 stars for sure. She is an example of the type of person that every customer service specialist should strive to be.
Lorena offered to replace my damaged concrete straightaway, but I decided to settle with the company instead. She was swift and prompt with the settlement and I felt it was fair and I accepted it. She kept in touch with me almost daily throughout this whole process and made sure that I was happy.
I also had some repair work to my air conditioning supply registers that needed to be done and Lorena scheduled those for me as well. Unfortunately, the technician that came out was sloppy in his work (although he was very nice) and I felt frustrated that I would have to contact Lorena again and have someone else come out to fix them.
Nonetheless, Lorena swiftly obliged and brought me one of her best technicians to fix the crooked supply register. I was very happy with his work, attitude, and I told Lorena to send him back in the future for extended warranty inspections, which she happily agreed to.
Lorena is fantastic and I would highly recommend talking to her if you experience any issues with any of your HVAC work because she will go above and beyond to take care of you.
Now the reason why I am rating the company 3 stars is because I feel that the company needs to do a better job training their technicians and not put so much pressure on them to get the jobs done so quickly that they rush through it and make mistakes. I definitely am appreciative and grateful for the settlement I reached with Blue Mountain, but I believe this company needs to make some serious changes with the way they train their service workers.
I will continue to use this company for the next few years to get an annual service inspection. I am confident that I will be happy with the results ALL because of Lorena. She gave me a newfound confidence in this company that they take their reputation seriously and are looking to make improvements. I will revisit this review each year based on how my service contract goes and maybe I can score them higher in the future. Thank you Blue Mountain construction, and especially Lorena Hayden, for turning my frown upside down!

Just suffered through over 17 months of remediation of construction defects ""highlighted"" by complete turnover of supposed supervision and management of lack of progress and subpar work. On site crews seemingly on their own to figure out what they were supposed to do. Punch list was substantial and attempts to discuss lack of coordination with upper management led to dismissive and angry comments that one would not expect from a competent and professional company. Once stuck with this organizational disaster had no recourse but to hope for an accelerated departure .

Worst company I've ever had to deal with! Only used them because my rental company assigned them to my house. Showed up late/never at all, never fixed the issue correctly. Then would lie about coming or trying to get ahold of me. They really have no idea what they are doing either. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Really wish I could give 0 stars. They are the loudest, most unprofessional group of workers I have ever seen. They stand outside your home, having a grand ol time with their coworkers at early hours of the morning. I've been woken up countless times by either their loud talking/ laughter or their use of tools (this morning it was them throwing tools down on the concrete outside my house.) I've been trapped inside my house due to their cars or latters up to my windows or tape over my doors on multiple occasions & when asked to move they literally make you run on their time. They usually show up unexpectedly and are working at the houses for months at a time- I live in a new house yet 99% of the time I feel like I live in a low quality construction site. My HOA makes us pay huge amounts of money each month for this low quality construction work and its beyond ridiculous.

This is the worst company you will ever come across they will rip off senior citizens and tell them the hvac system is bad and will make u make more then you call a second company and they will tell u the hvac system is good just need to be repaired DO NOT USE COMPANY be aware.

I scheduled an appointment to have a technician come out and do a tuneup. I scheduled it over a month in advance because I'm only off of work on certain days each month. I was given an appointment time between 8 and 10 AM. It is 10:13 AM right now and I just got off the phone with BlueMountain. No record of an appointment. This kind of crappy customer service should not be tolerated!
As I explained to the woman on the phone they just lost a good customer. They had installed the unit on our previous house and were very responsive and attentive.

Horrible experience with this company. They are doing work for our HOA. They have been working on our properties going on 1 year. The work is awful. Our properties look horrible.
They don't clean up after themselves. My son took a nail to the foot. Unannounced visits on my property (men outside my window). Taped inside my house twice. Tried to work with the project manager Scott slater and he ended up yelling at me and hanging up on me.
The workers spend an enormous amount of time standing around doing nothing.
I could go on and on!!!
I do not recommend this company!!!

We did request a bid from Blue Mountain. It was hard to get them to return our phone calls. It was the lowest of three bids we got, but fortunately our friend who is a general contractor warned us NOT to use this company!
This company has a reputation throughout Northern California of being all about getting the job done fast but not about getting it done well ! Greg and the others have made millions by offering shoddy workmanship and they don't stand behind their work. Any REPUTABLE contractor will tell you to AVOID this company.
You can spend your money on the most expensive air conditioner or furnace on the market but if the installation is not done properly you have wasted your money! You will have headaches for years to come from a poorly installed unit.
We got an Diamond Certified Company---A-1 Guaranteed Heating and Air and the whole experience was wonderful. Kirk was professional, and patient with all of our questions. The crew was willing to go the 'extra' mile in making sure the unit was correctly installed.

Our A/C went out, luckily it was still under warranty. Blue Mountain Air was contracted by Tripointe homes to complete the repair, and ended up replacing the compressor. Six days after the repair was completed, the A/C went out again, due to a bad compressor. Needless to say, we don't have good things to say about Blue Mountain Air.

This company installed my HVAC in my new home, so I attempted to have them come check out a problem with my heater since the parts are still under warranty. I would never have called otherwise, based on the less-than-stellar yelp reviews.
I was able to get an appointment the next day in the window of 10-2.
Day of appointment (had to take a day off from work to wait for them) I call to see where they are at 1:40 since time is running out on my window. The person who answered the phone (who is very kind) tracks down the repair man who is nowhere near my house, in fact he's still another hour out. My window closed before then so the entire day was a complete waste of my time.
Head's up to management, if your repair person is running late and unable to make their window, you need to let the customer know, don't wait for them to call you all pissed off.
