We didn't choose Blue Mountain as our service. We bought a house built by Pulte who contracted with Blue Mtn to install our HVAC system. We have had a problem with the furnace since the the first use. When they first came to service it, the tech told us it was our fault it broke because we changed our thermostat; and that now the warranty was voided so we couldn't call them anymore. Being first time homeowners, we naively believed this, so when it broke again two years later (this past November) we called another company. The other company tried to fix it and ultimately came to the conclusion that it was the controller box (after replacing a slew of other parts) which would be expensive to fix, they advised us to call Pulte. They also stated that there was standing water in the furnace and rust and in their opinion the furnace had been improperly installed. Pulte contacted Blue Mtn and they came back out to repair the furnace. They had to order the part which took a few weeks. They never called to tell us it was in. We had to call them. When they came back out we asked why there was water in the furnace and the tech said there was a hole in the PVC pipe. When we asked where the hole came from, he said a screw. When we asked who put the screw there? Well...that is a mystery. I'm guessing squirrels with drills? Attic elves? Furnace saboteurs? Obviously anyone except the company that installed it. Then they charged us $300 for an hour's labor. For parts that were under warranty...for a product they installed...that failed to work properly from day one of use. So even if the product is under warranty...their work isn't? There are 48 houses in our development and none that I know of have had any issues with their furnace, so I do think this is a one off situation. However, their workmanship isn't my concern so much as their unwillingness to stand by it. If you choose to go with Blue Mtn for your HVAC needs they can probably fix your problem, but they might have to fix it again...and they'll charge you for it...$300 an hour to be precise.

Worst Customer Service Ever. Very rude and doesnt care about customer at all. I am extremely disappointed with there Support team. They did a sub standard job in AC on one of my homes closed in 2020 and have outsourced AC to Blue Mountain company. Now AC keeps breaking every few months and Blue mountain does not provide any warranty on a job done just 4 months back in June which broke in November. There technicians have no knowledge of the installation. They are charging $200 per person for 2 people to just figure out the issue. Shea Customer service just washing there hands off. Shea Mountain house customer service is a horror and useless. I dont want to name the people here as its not good. Now even if i have to spend 1000's of $$$ on fixing the issue, there is no guarnatee it will break in few months and there is zero accountability from builder who have chosen Blue mountain who are super bad at there job. Worst experience and night mare for home owners. I hope Shea Customer service step up and talk to there clients properly and Learn to solve Problems.

My HVAC stopped working during a cold spell of course (temps in the 30s). I contacted Blue Mountain Construction Services and they came out right away, assessed the problem, and quickly replaced my unit. Geo and his crew were very professional, friendly, and thorough. I am so happy with my unit and the work performed. Thank you!

I bought a home from Century Communities in Mountain House, moved in in March'21 and the heater was not working at during winter, called Blue Mountain Construction Services they came up and replaced substandard parts that they installed in my attic and it started to work. Again in May'22 the HVAC broke due to thermostat issue, BlueMountain gave an appointment in July'22 and fixed it. This time, since I was just out of warranty they charged a ~$450 for labor and Freon gas. Both builder and HVAC installation company is asking customer to check with each other and customer is left to suffer. Suffered with cold and hot temperatures with kids during this year. 1 year warranty for heater and hvac systems are not sufficient, with these kind of substandard parts it is obvious to fail immediately after warranty is over and the customer has to pay the price for it, which is not fair.

We bought our new construction home October 2019. Here it is 2022 and gradually over the course of the two and a half years the AC has started blowing hot air. It has never cooled off the bedrooms upstairs or the guest room downstairs. They installed the thermostat in the master bedroom which causes the system to turn off before the rest of the house is cool. The air barely blows in the kids rooms. They installed three drier filters on the system which caused the TXV to stop working and freeze up which costs us a few thousand to fix. When I called them about the problem they wanted to charge us over 100 dollars an hour to come and fix what they screwed up by improperly installing the system into our home. There is no reason for a brand new system to quit working only two and half years into using it. The system is supposed to have 7/8 copper lines but they switched it to 3/4 copper lines in the middle of the line runs. Stay away from this company they are bad news and care nothing about their customers.

I was unable to have my washer and dryer installed because the drain pan they installed was too far back near the wall. It needed to be an inch forward.

I emailed customer service and no response. I called and spoke with a lady that transferred me to someone. I left a voicemail and still no response.

I tried a different email and received a response. The lady wanted to charge me for a new drain pan for over $300. I told her we just needed to move the current pan forward. I never got any responses after that. As you can tell they don't offer warranty.

I got blue mountain Construction through the warranty of the company I bought our house from,
This is a new Construction home. Blue mountain construction installed the Hvac system. I moved
Into my home in December 31, 2015, approximately April 2016 I turned on my Ac , at which time
My AC were blowing hot . I Called blue mountain regarding this problem , a repair man can out,
And told me ,my system were out Freon . And they forgot to filled the System during installation .
So he filled the system with Freon, neve checked for Leaks. System works until 2018 , they came
And filled the system a second time , never checking for Leaks. Every year after 2018 until now
Present, I have my Freon replenished yearly.

I've called 4 times in a week. Left messages and no return calls. Beyond frustrating. My heating isn't working properly in a brand new home and the weather is so cold.

I live in a new home, just closed escrow in December 2019 - the first summer in the home, 2020, the AC went down, twice! Now summer of 2021, it is down again. The company is meant to fix the issue, supposedly today, but refuses to schedule an appointment until I ""promise to pay"". Apparently the warranty is limited and labor costs are not covered after 12-months on a BRAND NEW system in addition some parts are not covered.

I was informed last year that the duct work in the attic was leaking (this leak cost me thousands in utility bills) however Blue Mountain states that another contractor could have been in the attic during the home build and damaged their work - taking 0 responsibility. The duct work was supposedly fixed but that remains to be seen, given I am having an identical issue - vents blowing out warm air on a system that is less than 2 years old.

My experience with this company is that they are 1) Money hungry and 2) They lack customer service skills, they simply don't care - a really bad combination!

It remains to be seen if Blue Mountain Air makes things right -

This company should be avoided period. We bought a new construction home from Meritage homes and we have had one issue after the other, with both the heating and the cooling systems. They send all sorts of incompetence techs who all contradict each other with what the issues were.

There support service is ridiculous, when we called because the furnace stopped working in a new construction home that's just a year old. They didn't get back or respond in a timely manner. Why builders still give this company work is beyond me. Actually I guess it's because they are cheaper than competent companies that know what they are doing!
