The year 1973 marked the beginning of a partnership between W.R. ""Bill"" Blalock and his father-in-law, J.R. ""Red"" Lynch, leading to the creation of B & L Plumbing and Electric. Their focus was on providing professional plumbing and electrical repairs to customers. They began their operations in a compact block building at 1131 East Commerce St, Lewisburg, TN. The phone was answered by Bill's mother, who also took care of work orders and invoicing. With growth came the need for additional employees. To fulfill this requirement, Carl King and Jessie Whaley joined the team in 1978, both retiring after three decades of dedicated service.
