In 1973, W.R. ""Bill"" Blalock and his father-in-law, J.R. ""Red"" Lynch established a partnership and named their venture B & L Plumbing and Electric. The company aimed to offer reliable plumbing and electrical services to its clientele. The company started in a small block building located at 1131 East Commerce St in Lewisburg, TN. The phone was answered by Bill's mother, who also took care of work orders and invoicing. With growth came the need for additional employees. This need was met by hiring Carl King and Jessie Whaley in 1978, both of whom have since retired after over thirty years with the company.

Bill, Kevin, and their team of 62 full-time employees express gratitude to the loyal customers in Marshall and surrounding counties who have supported them for 42 years.
