The origins of Birditt Plumbing trace back to Robert ""Wayne"" Birditt, who started Valley Ditch Digging in the late 1980s, transitioning from an electrician to a plumber. His dedication became evident when he earned his master plumber certification in 1995. After serving in the Air Force in the early '90s, his son Rodney joined him, helping to grow their business. Rodney acquired his master plumbing license in 2003, leading to a rebranding as Birditt Plumbing and Electrical, concentrating mainly on plumbing. Unfortunately, Birditt Plumbing and Electrical could not survive the 2008 housing downturn, resulting in its closure in 2011. Despite this, their name remained a symbol of quality. Reilly Birditt, Rodney's son and the third generation, founded Birditt Plumbing in 2024, combining modern ideas with traditional values. He highlights the Birditts' commitment to serving the community with trustworthy plumbing services, maintaining standards of quality, excellence, and reliability across generations.

Hi there, I'm Reilly! As a third-generation plumber and business owner, I was raised in Valley, Alabama alongside my two brothers. In my youth, I frequently ""assisted"" my dad with his plumbing business. I have clear memories of bringing him tools and squeezing into tight spaces he couldn't reach. Observing him instilled in me the value of hard work and the significance of his saying, ""Do it right the first time."" This lesson has remained with me as I navigated through life. When my wife Joann and I purchased our first home, we found ourselves in need of a plumber. Unfortunately, we quickly realized that finding a skilled plumber is not easy. After much thought, my wife encouraged me to follow in my father's footsteps and become a plumber. I chose to relaunch Birditt Plumbing to reintroduce quality plumbing services to our area. We promise the community that the Birditt name will always stand for quality workmanship.
