The origins of Birditt Plumbing trace back to Robert ""Wayne"" Birditt, who started Valley Ditch Digging in the late 1980s, transitioning from an electrician to a plumber. His dedication became evident when he earned his master plumber certification in 1995. Following his time in the Air Force in the early '90s, his son Rodney came on board, contributing to the expansion of their business. With Rodney obtaining his master plumbing license in 2003, they rebranded to Birditt Plumbing and Electrical, focusing primarily on plumbing. Unfortunately, Birditt Plumbing and Electrical could not survive the 2008 housing downturn, resulting in its closure in 2011. Nonetheless, the Birditt name continued to be associated with quality. In 2024, Reilly Birditt, the third generation and son of Rodney, launched Birditt Plumbing, merging innovation with legacy. He highlights the Birditts' commitment to serving the community with trustworthy plumbing services, maintaining standards of quality, excellence, and reliability across generations.

Hi there, I'm Reilly! As a third-generation plumber and business owner, I spent my childhood in Valley, Alabama with my two brothers. As a child, I often ""helped"" my father with his plumbing tasks. I vividly recall fetching tools for him and fitting into small areas he couldn't access. Watching him taught me the importance of hard work and the meaning behind his motto, ""Do it right the first time."" That lesson stayed with me throughout my life. After buying our first home, I needed a plumber. Regrettably, we soon discovered that competent plumbers are hard to come by. After much thought, my wife encouraged me to follow in my father's footsteps and become a plumber. I chose to relaunch Birditt Plumbing to reintroduce quality plumbing services to our area. We promise the community that the Birditt name will always stand for quality workmanship.
