A few months ago we called the 24 hour emergency line for Bill Howe company to fix a clog in the toilet. It took about an hour for the technician to get there. When he got there he seemed pretty confident that he could fix it. He snaked the line in the wrong place and proceeded to snake the line incorrectly. Wound up running the snake across the street into the our neighbor's pipe. After assuring us that calling in another guy to help would fix the problem, we agreed. After having to wait for additional hours nothing was fixed. They said they were going to have to bring back a crew the next day and spend over a thousand dollars to fix it. We said no way. We were charged over $600 and not only was the problem not fixed , the problem was made worse and we couldn't flush any of our toilets. We hired the landlord's plumbing company the next day and the problem was resolved for about the same amount as we paid to not have it fixed. We shouldn't have ever been charged when the problem was not fixed.

My shower on off part broke a few years back. I don't remember how much now. I just remember the guy was very unprofessional, chain smoker. He didn't even put all the parts I bought on the new on off part. It's the round ring under the on off. It just made it more nicer. Thank God I caught that before he left. He wasn't very pleased when I asked him to put it on. I didn't want to say anything else to him. I just wanted him out of my house. I'm not going to hire big companies anymore from now on. Independent and small businesses will be my choice. And I'm sure he overcharged me. Not very honest.Not possible to rate with no star.

Rob Altamirano is calm, careful worker, pleasant to have in your house. He took extra effort to find cartridges for my discontinued faucets. I appreciate that he did a couple other small fixes for me while here.

Dilshare Suleiman from Bill Howe came out to our apartment building to clear the main line. He looked over the situation and repaired the cover on an access to the main drain in the alley, but knew the problem was further up the line. He needed to go on the roof to use the drain auger. He always explained everything clearly and took care of the blockage which ended up taking most of the auger line.
After that he repaired all the plumbing under the laundry tub.
Wonderful service and enjoyed his positive attitude in doing all the work.

I had Bill Howe Plumbing (Andrew and Kris) out to our home to descale our tankless hot water heater...and subsequently to replace two isolation valves and our front yard faucet . All work was expertly and promptly accomplished. Both individuals were exceptionally professional and highly competent...they fully explained all work that needed to be done. We paid to have a kitchen reroute done by this company. They left us with an exposed hole on the outside of our house and an open wall under the sink. I guess they are cool with their customers getting and then being exposed to black mold. I called them up, and their response was to send out a rep for another estimate. So they have the department and people to do the work but purposely kept it out of the agreement to then sucker us in for more money. These people are scam artists and took advantage of my in-laws. Bill Howe will not get another dime from us.
