My wife and I moved to Texas a few weeks ago and our Oceanside house went into escrow soon after. Buyers had a video inspection of the sewer line which disclosed breaks and root incursion.

BIll Howe Plumbing was recommended to us and we got a very detailed bid at a fair price. Sean Jenkins, the project executive, walked us through every step of the repair and managed to suggest ways to do the work that would result in minimum (actually no damage) to the s urrounding pavers and palm trees. Sean was very quick to return our calls and e-mails, never letting us linger without a response.

Repairs were scheduled to begin on 7/3 and be completed on 7/5. Sean knew of our anxiety as our closing date loomed and he moved our job up a day to 7/2and the work was done in that one day. We were awed by this performance and we received a very detailed set of photos and a video of our entire 84' sewer line when the work was completed.

I cannot say enough words of praise re Sean Jenkins and Bill Howe plumbing.

We were shocked how many ""24 hour"" and ""emergency service"" plumbers either never returned our call or told us they couldn't fit us in for days. When you have a clogged toilet and no hot water in a shower, you don't have days to wait! Luckily Bill Howe got someone out the very next morning without hassle. Mike was awesome! Despite the high rate for overtime we were paying (maybe because it was a weekend or it was considered emergency service, I don't know), he worked really fast and didn't milk it. He explained everything he was doing and fixed both of our problems within a few hours. He was really professional and were just so happy the issues are fixed! I definitely will call Bill Howe again because they've proven to be reliable and experienced.

Our kitchen sink was draining very slowly. We've tried to unclog it for a couple of years to limited success. Finally it stopped draining all together so we looked for a professional. I looked at the top plumbers on yelp in our area. Most couldn't come in for 5-7 days and were charging $200+. Danny from Bill Howe came in the next day. There was a mixup in scheduling and they missed our morning appointment but the came out in the afternoon. Danny was great. He snaked a couple of spots and fixed the problem in less than an hour. The cost was ~$100. Quick, inexpensive, capable. They will be our goto plumber from now on.

Never imagined writing a 5* review for plumbers, but these guys SAVED THE DAY at my bakery and in no time flat! We had a leak, found out we needed a new hot water heater (which sucks, b/c commercial ones are crazy $$$), and saw all the rusted bottom of the old one. I wanted to call another company option just for a 2nd quote, but when Bill Howe's team swooped in and said the could find a new one THAT hour, we went for it.
They removed the old one, replaced the old one, and cleaned the area in what seemed like 20 min. all together! Outstanding, clean, kind, and courteous guys. We even gave them cupcakes to say ""thank you"" at the end.

I have alternated between Bill Howe and others over the years. Today I called them about 2 jobs, one in my kitchen, replacing a faucet, and the other under the bathroom sink, replacing some piping. They were able to offer me a same day appointment and arrived within 1/2 hour of the arrival window. The young plumber, Brandon, was courteous and friendly. He explained what he would do and then did it well. Both the sink and bathroom were completed in less than 2 hours and looked great.
It is important to note that I had called another large plumbing company 2 months ago, just for the kitchen sink, and their young plumber had looked under the sink for awhile, gone back to his truck for ten minutes, then came back with a calling card referring me to mold removal company. "" I'm going to Vegas this weekend, and I can't afford to get sick. Then he left. It was such a breath of fresh air to have Brandon, come in, get to work and make our kitchen sink look great again. Thanks Brandon!

Bill Howe Plumbing is the very best in San Diego. They responded within minutes to my online request for an appointment. It was set for the next day at a time that was convenient for me. The plumber phoned to let me know when he was on the way to my home. He was on time, was cordial and installed my new bathroom faucet and new stainless steel risers. I had the 10% discount coupon from their web site. The total invoice was very reasonable. They are always professional and their customer service is outstanding.

I'm writing this review at 2AM to say that for all your emergency plumbing needs, call these professional and highly skilled folks. The emergency shut off valve running into my toilet bowl broke completely spraying high pressured water into the apartment. The main shut off valve shuts off the entire building of eight units. After apologizing to my neighbors, we frantically called many ""24 hour"" or ""emergency"" plumbers. Either they don't pick up, or they dispatch the call to a technician who never called back. I received professional customer service when I called Bill Howe. Their tech, Armando, gave us a call shortly and drove a long distance to get to our place. The valve to be replaced was completely rusted and all the parts were stuck. Fearless Armando used a myriad of tools to remove those parts and install the new valves without leaks. The main valve is now turned on and my neighbors can finally have a hot shower before work. Crisis averted thanks to the ONLY plumbing company willing to help out. Armando deserves all the best in life. I don't write alot of reviews on Yelp, so trust that this was something that stressed me out tremendously and the relief of good work from Armando is insurmountable.

Recently called Bill Howe to handle a sewer line inspection and overall had a wonderful experience. It wasn't the absolute cheapest but they were out here pretty quick and sent me two really nice videos a few days after. They also gave me a quote to have my sewer line re-lined with their apoxy system. Gave me two well thought out quotes. They sent this guy Rigoberto Barajas and the guy was super nice, great smile. Even came back out a few weeks later just to make sure I found the clean out, didn't charge at all. All in all an excellent experience.

I wasn't fully believing what the Bill Howe plumber told me so I called and asked some other plumbers questions. It didn't add up what the Bill Howe plumber told me.
I then called a small plumbing company who came and fixed my issue. My issue was not what Bill Howe's plumber had told me. I will never be calling Bill Howe back again.

I want to share a positive plumbing experience we recently had with Bill Howe. We had a plumbing issue and a blocked drain. The problems arose on a weekend and it was difficult to find a company who worked on a Saturday who could take care of both the plumbing problem and to clear out the drain. On the Nextdoor app Bill Howe was highly recommended by my neighbors so I gave them a call. After discussing the issues with the customer representative, who was quite knowledgeable on plumbing matters, we were told a technician would be to the house that afternoon. We had the good fortune to meet Giovanny who took care of both issues quickly and smoothly. The bill was quite reasonable considering the emergency weekend type situation and he left the bathroom very clean and with everything working perfectly. He was a pro and obviously very experienced. I definitely recommend Bill Howe (and Giovanny) for your plumbing needs.
